Harper works for a billionaire, tending to his tennis court. When she finally meets him, he suggests that she get a makeover so she could look "cute". He helps her and whisks her away on vacation, where they fall in love.

I'm not sure how to rate this one. On one hand, I enjoyed it. But there were several things I didn't like about this novella. I thought Parker (H) was a jerk. If someone suggested to me to get a makeover so I could look cute, I would slap them.

There was lots of steam in this novella! They joined the mile high club, that's for sure.

Harper works guarding the tennis courts for Mr. Parker Carnell. From the moment he sets eyes on her, Parker will become obsessed and offer her everything Harper never had.

The makeover thing is something I don't like. That you meet a guy and he invites you to your house for a makeover, I don't know, I think it's a bit pathetic.

As for the rest, the life of a millionaire, jet, hotels, and travel, nothing to write home about. The story seemed to me nothing more than passable.

Parker (H) spots Harper (h) and is attracted to her, though he thinks she needs different clothes and a less messy hairstyle. He whirls her off to a makeover and luxurious life, with plenty of hot and steamy action. I read things all over the romance-erotic spectrum and there are only a few things that turn me off, one of which is the 'ugly duckling' who'll be more attractive if she does something with her hair, throws on some make-up and wears better clothes. I have no problems with stories that have a character with emotional growth - Harper does do that and that’s why I'll still give this three stars (would have been a four). But physically changing to suit someone else bugs me I'm fine if the character wants to change themselves, but not when it's someone else doing the changing for them. OTW sweet, hot romance quickie!

I really liked this short story. It was entertaining and enjoyable although a bit outside of reality. The characters were interesting and likable. Harper was shy and introverted which made her relatable. Parker was outgoing and very confident. The makeover was a lot less than I thought it would be, but it was still good for Harper's self-esteem. Parker wasn't really one to ask for permission, he was more like- we are doing this now. There was a tiny bit of drama and angst but I liked how it resolved. I loved their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Hot but not always consistent
This story is very unbalanced. As much the second part is torrid and successful, as much the first is incoherent. The men are boorish, behaving what they think is normal, and the heroine Harper says she's shy and that's why she leaves when it seems more like she's falling into a trap set by Parker, her boss, who doesn't think he's doing anything wrong. In short, I was left very mixed when reading this story.

I thought this was such a sizzling hot read. Parker is instantly smitten when he sees Harper. He is determined to make her into the goddess that he believes her to be, and takes steps to make that happen. I have to say that I did giggle at certain parts as Harper is so innocent and sweet and gets so flustered at some of the things that Parker wants her to do. I found this novel cute and entertaining.

I Didn’t care for this one

I love these short insta love possessive books. I’ve enjoyed several from this author. This one had the hero as someone i just couldn’t like. From the way he approached her, to the scene on the beach with the other woman, that was not believable to all!!! If you see someone signaling you from the shadows and you’re mega rich, would you bother meeting that person on the beach the next day while your girl is asleep!?!? I’ll still read this author, but won’t continue if more male leads are like this.

This was an ok book for me. There is a lot of steam in this book but I didn't feel as though Parker and Harper had a true connection besides just lust. Parker just steamed rolled over Harper and Harper just let him and didn't stand up for herself. This was an ok book for me but someone else may love it so give it a shot.

I love this quick read love story that brought a shy beautiful out of her shell. The makeover brought the beast from Parker out and Harper feels she is looking outside from the tennis courts. It was a wild ride but the end Harper got her man in Parker. It was a great read and you are going to love this story too.

Esta historia paso tan rapido que no se ve en que momento se enamoran esos dos.
Ella de 19 y el mayor pero ella no taaaaan inocente que digamos que no sabia pero si sabia.
Parker no me dio confianza nunca y el lio con Sue me parecio demasiado facil de solucionar o sea Haper lo creyo y lo perdono muy rapido ... no se si es que estoy acostumbrada a leer mas "drama" pero siento que fue muy rapido la parte del conflicto.
