Crowded Tables: A Small-Town Island Romance
CROWDED TABLES (SERIES BOOK 1)
After the death of her grandmother, Val Foster takes her inheritance to Ocracoke Island, North Carolina to get away for a weekend. When she ends up buying an abandoned mansion on the south side of the island, she decides to relocate to Ocracoke permanently and put down some new roots.
Jack Dixon doesn't know what to do with Val when she arrives at his family's real estate office. She's a spitfire, and insists on taking on large projects with no preparation. But Val might just be the glue that pulls Jack's island back together after tragedy rocks the foundation of the town he grew up in.

A must read
This story will pull you in. The characters come alive in the written words, and the descriptions of the locality are as vivid as if you are right on the island.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a heartfelt story of love, family and finding one's place after feeling like you've lost everything.
