"I went looking for blackberries and I found a mountain man. I found love."

I'm addicted to instalove stories involving mountain men! Rowan is a man who has lived in the mountains for a long time. One day he sees Jenny trespassing on his land, picking blueberries and wildflowers. He watches her week after week. Jenny, who saw Rowan from afar one day, finally gathers the courage to go closer to her mountain man crush-but in the process she's scared by a "bear" and hurts her ankle. Rowan comes to her rescue!

I thought this was a super cute instalove novella. I enjoyed it. Poor Rowan is so lonely, he talks to his body parts! Haha.

Ever since book 3 I couldn’t wait for Rowan’s story. He’s ex military living as a gruff, recluse mountain man. What could be hotter! I really this book. It was quick, sweet, and had a little bit of good spice! Oh and I was laughing whenever Rowan talked to a certain “member” of his body!

WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.

Rowan and Jenny met when she sprains her ankle. Jenny's been coming to Rowan's side of the mountain and picking his blackberries and flowers. The fence was damaged during a storm and Rowan didn't have time to fix it, so now Jenny wonders on his land. When Jenny first came she seen Rowan but he didn't see her, she watched him chopping wood. Jenny went back after that every week hoping to see the bare chested man chopping wood. Rowan watches Jenny from his window while she picks his blackberries and flowers. Rowan then follows Jenny into town to see where she lives, but he follows her to a cemetery, that's the one place where he won't follow her. Rowan was in the military and when his mother was sick he didn't come home until she passed away, he always thought he had time. When Rowan did come back everyone thought he it was his choice not to come back but it wasn't military life took him on special missions. While Jenny is picking berries she hears something in the bushes, she assumes it's a bear. When Jenny hears the bush snort, she tries to run but trips. Rowan comes out and carries her into his home and places her on his couch. When she comes around she's not sure where she at. Rowan tell her she fell and sprained her ankle. Rowan tends to her ankle and tells Jenny she can't leave, she has a concussion. Jenny tries to call her friend but there's not cell service this far up the mountain. Jenny suggest to Rowan that he drive her in her car back down the mountain but Jenny lost her keys and Rowan can't find them. Jenny sleeps in his bed while Rowan takes the couch. Jenny wakes up and grabs a glass of water and wakes Rowan, they both drinks some hot cocoa. Rowan tells Jenny how beautiful she is, then he kisses her. Rowan pleasures Jenny then they make love. The next morning Jenny wakes up and Rowan is gone, he left her a note that he went to take care of his cattle. Jenny gets bored so she makes Rowan a pie, then cleans his home. When the afternoon comes around and Rowan's still not back, Jenny leaves. A week later, while Jenny is visiting the cemetery Rowan comes to find her. Rowan explains to Jenny how he let his mother down by not being there for her, Jenny understands. Rowan tells her he loves her, and Jenny tells him she loves him. Rowan finally goes into the cemetery to visit his mother's grave. Five years later, once Jenny moved up to the mountain she sold her half of the shop to her best friend Aria. Jenny now plants flowers on the side of the mountain, they also extended the cabin and added more bedrooms. Rowan and Jenny now have two toddlers and one on the way. Rowan tells her he loves her and Jenny tells shim she loves him.

Rowan lived a life up on the mountain by himself. After being deployed and missing the death of his mother he felt he should be alone. After this young woman kept coming up to his property picking wild flowers and eating his berries from his tree. He couldn't take his eyes off of her. One day while she was picking berries, his cow approached her and started her, where she fell backwards. He saw it all transpired and shot his shot gun to scare away the animal.
Jenny went up the path looking for wild flowers one day when she came across a mountain man chopping wood with no shirt on, so every week shed go back hoping shed see him again. This time while picking flowers and berries. This time she hears a noise and help very still thinking it was a bear but when she started to run she fell and twisted her ankle. When her mountain man came to her rescue she passed out.
He took her back to his house and help fix up her ankle. Later that night she couldn't sleep and was getting a glass of water when Rowan said something that startled her. The attraction was there for both of them. The next day when she woke up he was already gone, she didn't know what she should do. She made him a pie and then cleaned his place while she waited for him. She waited for sometime but he didn't show, so she got her keys and left.
When Rowan got back after taking care of the cattle, Jenny was already gone. For dats Rowan was miserable until his brother mentioned something to him. It set off a thought and he went after Jenny.
After seeing Jenny and telling her that he wants her forever. He took her back to his home and made it their home. He felt better for letting her in his life. He also forgave himself for not being there for his mothed.

Mountain Man's Healer, part of Sadie King's awesome Men of Maple Mountain series, is a short, fast-paced, instalove romance. Rowan and Jenny's story is super sweet and steamy. When a fence goes down on Rowan's acres of land, Jenny does not realize it is private property and starts spending her Saturdays picking wildflowers and blackberries. After catching a glimpse of the gorgeous young woman the first week, the reclusive Rowan continues to watch her from afar. Jenny caught sight of him chopping wood the first time and has been hoping to spot the hot mountain man again, but it isn't until she falls and sprains her ankle that the two finally meet. Rowan is instantly at Jenny's side and tends to her - and their instant chemistry explodes when she is forced to spend the night. But in the light of day, can the man who has spent years retreating from the world open himself up or will he drive away the one woman who has managed to even capture his heart?

Rowan and Jenny will touch your hearts in this touching story. Rowan has become a mountain man stuck on a mountain away from people. He believes that he has let his mother down by not being there in her hour of need, so he keeps to himself and the animals he tends. Jenny is alone in the world when she loses her mother to an accident that places her the states custody, but she doesn't let that stop her from living. She and Rowan meets when he comes to her rescue. As their relationship picks up Rowan second guesses himself when it comes to Jenny and when he leaves the following morning and is late coming back, he arrives to a note and Jenny gone. Will these two get their chance to find happiness together?

Fantastic story. Instalove at it's best with plenty of emotions. If you love reading romance that has a reclusive bare chested hot alpha man than this is one book to read. Rowan spies Jenny trespassing on his property picking wildflowers & is captivated by her beauty.
Jenny spied this hunk of a mountain man whilst picking wildflowers & keeps returning each week in the hope of getting a glimpse of him again.
Jenny hurts her ankle on his property & Rowan is there to help.
The heated sparks of attraction between Rowan & Jenny are undeniable. Is this mountain man willing to come out of his shell & push past his comfort zone for a chance at a HEA or will he wait too long?.

This book is a short and steamy mountain man romance with a ex military recluse and a ray of sunshine that finds herself on his land. The characters are interesting. Rowan is ex military living with regrets and hiding on the mountain. Jenny is a small town girl with a positive attitude and tries to focus on the good things in life. I really enjoyed reading about them discovering each other before actually meeting. It was sweet and slightly obsessive, especially Rowan. She makes him want to enter the world again but he still struggles with guilt and whether he could be deserving of her love. I also really loved how the story played out, including misunderstandings, finding self love, and an ending that’s both sweet and heated.

I loved Mountain Man's Healer. Rowan lives a quiet life up on his mountain taking care of his cattle. Then one Saturday and blonde haired beauty shows up picking his blackberries and wildflowers. He wants her. Week after week she shows up on Saturday but he won’t go to her. She deserves better than him. Until one Saturday on of his bullock scare her and she gets injured. He wants to keep her but he ends up pushing her away. He needs to decide if he can live without her or if it’s time to forgive himself for past mistakes. A great storyline and lovable characters. I would definitely recommend this book and the whole series.

Rowan is a recluse mountain man who lives in a cabin alone. Every Saturday for the past month, he’s been watching a curvy young lady trespass on his property to pick wild flowers and blackberries. What he doesn’t know is that she, Jenny, saw him first while he was chopping wood and she likes what she saw so she kept returning with the hope of running into him. Rowan keeps his distance until Jenny runs into some trouble.
This was an amazing book! I especially enjoyed Jenny’s outlook on life and how she brightened things up for Rowan when he needed it most.
This author can tell a story! Sadie King is is wonderful at what she does and I am glad that she shares her work with readers.

Rowan and Jenny . . .

Rowan and Jenny seemed to have a very strong attraction for each other. Rowan is obsessed with Jenny’s sweet nature as she picks wildflowers and blackberries on his property. He helps her when she sprains her ankle and brings her into his cabin. But his doubts and worries make him disappear in the morning. And when he comes back, she is now gone. Will the two of them ever talk to each other and discover that they could be perfect for each other?

Rowan may want some time with a mental health therapist about the wisdom of asking your male appendage for love advice. He sounded way too believable in their “discussion” when he chides it for what it’s suggesting! And when his “discussion” continues, it heads toward creepy.

When he returned people said bad things about him because he did not come home for his mother's funeral (he was in a special military unit and could not nor could he tell anyone). Jenny wanders onto Roman's property not realizing it. She sees him and keeps coming back hoping to see him again. Rowan watches her and one day swoops in to save her when she falls. Mountain Man's Healer is a fast read that will make you smile and a perfect story to lose yourself in for a small escape.

Jenny was walking the trail when she came across a shirtless man with an ax, now she has made it a weekly event just in hopes to see him again. Rowan had found a place in the mountains after her left the service and his mother passed away. Seeing Jenny walk onto his property had become his favorite party of the week and when she twisted her ankle, Rowan is all too willing to help.

Once a week for several weeks Jenny takes a walk up the mountain to where she saw the sexy mountain man hoping to see him again. When Jenny takes a fall and injures her ankle, Rowen is there to take care of her. This was a fast paced read with a sweet and caring heroine. Rowan felt he let his family down and couldn’t forgive himself and led a solitary life. Now with Jenny help he knows he can be the kind, protective man he truly is. Jenny first saw the man near cabin on her first trip, he was bare-chested and he keeps her coming back. When she hurts her ankle, it is the first time they actually meet. He makes her stay the night, the two connect, in the morning he is gone.

This was a fun fast paced read that takes us on an OTT romance for Rowan and Jenny. I love that he was spying on her, like a love-sick stalker, and made sure to be handy when she needed him most. This doesn't mean that their journey to an HEA was smooth and there were strong emotional undertones to both their backstories that kept me fully engaged. I found it a page turner and look forward to what's next by this author :D

Nothing like a reclusive mountain man read, Sadie King hit this one out of the ballpark. Jenny had no idea, she was trespassing, but when she fell hurting her ankle, Rowan swooped in to rescue her. Rowan wanted Jenny the moment her saw her trespassing on his land. Jenny saw Rowan chopping wood when she was picking blackberries and was in love! Every week she hoped to see him again. Rowan and Jenny's story is sweet and heartbreaking. The scars that are left inside Rowan that he thinks he cant have the love that is creating with Jenny. It took the ups and downs between them to make them open up to love and heal the scars not just in Rowan but in Jenny. You are to LOVE this story as much as I did.

Another miss for me. It seems like books in this series are either really really good or really really bad. One of my biggest pet peeves is miscommunication and not talking for some length of time. These are supposed to be grown ass adults, I get he has no way to call her but the town is so small he could easily found her. Then he shows up and bam forgiven. It never works for me in a regular sized novel and it definitely doesn’t work in a 62 page novella.

This was a wonderfully sweet mountain man romance. The storyline was cute and entertaining. I loved the chemistry between Rowan and Jenny, they had such a strong connection and I felt that I really got to know them even though the story was short.
