Is it fate, like Lucia keeps telling him or has he just bit off more than he can chew?
Houston is book two in Cadence Vonn's Choice & Consequences series, and I have to say, it is even better than book one. Houston is a compelling psychological thriller with blistering hot sex scenes. The plot is so intricate, so well-written, the erotic scenes get second billing. Don't get me wrong, the sizzling passion between Houston and Lucia will set your body thrumming. The romance between these two is captivating but the suspense is what makes this a five-star book. Cadence Vonn plunges the reader into the mind of a woman being stalked and the effect caused shivers to creep up my spine. The dark side of BDSM mixed with an erotic romantic thriller is exactly what you'll get with Houston. Fans of dark, disturbing serial killer thrillers will love this book. Another impressive erotic romantic thriller by Cadence Vonn. I look forward to her next book in the series. Highly recommend!

This is So true!! What a fantastic story. The villains are evil. I thought the villians in HARLOW were nasty, Ms Vonn had upped her game in HOUSTON. She's walked the edge between thriller and erotic romance taking the reader in a twisted journey until the end.
The story captures your attention from the very first scene where fate brings Lucia and Houston together. The pages turn quickly immersing the reader in the vibrant world. I can't wait for them next book. Cadence Vonn's series, Choice & Consequence, has become an automatic buy for me.

Houston is the second book in the A Choice & Consequence series. Once again, the author takes us on a fantastic ride filled with violence, action, suspense, thrills, erotic romance, and so much more. The characters in this book are very engaging and compelling, and you will meet some evil people you will love to hate but may find a bit fascinating. The way that Houston and Lucia meet and how they totally connect and discover that they belong is romantic, thrilling, and dangerous.
The book is a page-turner, and I can't wait for the third installment. It has a lot to live up to, as the first two books in the series are phenomenal.
