This book brought back so many memories - funny how you look back and wonder how the line from point A to point B can get so curved - but all roads lead to a Rome that no longer exists. I think that the people of America started to really question what was going on during the Bush administration; but I could never have imagined back then what we are faced with today!

Unfortunately, I ended up with this book when a friend moved from Taiwan back to her home country. She snuck this book into the pile she gave me before she left. What a waste of paper and words.

Am-bushed! is a short re-telling of George W. Bush's silly comments that he made in office. By his own admission, Bush has said many times that he has never been great with speaking on the fly. This book highlights all the times he said something stupid - which was a lot.

I really hope no one decides to do this with Donald Trump. I don't think we could find a book that is big enough to provide an account of all the lies and dumb things Trump has said.

As with anyone in public office there are going to be moments when gaffes are made. The eight years that George W. Bush was in office, by his own admission of not being great with words on the fly, were filled with some interesting and comical sound bites. Leland Gregory puts together some of the most memorable and adds his own critique and spin on these quotes from G.W.
