Catherine Hapka wisely eschews the movie trilogy's metaplot by using Beast as the protagonist. However, that's her only good decision as flat storytelling and mediocre artwork create a bland mess of an already bad movie.

Hmm, entah apakah saya yang memang bukan pencinta komik, atau memang ceritanya yang terlalu simpel begini. Saya mengharapkan sebuah kisah fantasy yang kompleks dan mengagumkan, sebagaimana serangkaian film seria yang diangkat dari kisah X-Men ini.
