I'm a wolf in hiding. The world isn't the same place it was over ten years ago when Keziah took over the clan at Lupine Falls. I'm not the same girl I was when I left my clan behind and being all but invisible is something I've become highly skilled at. Until another wolf shows up in the hotel I'm bonded to. Until he makes a demand I can't refuse, not without drawing attention to myself.
From that point on, my life becomes chaos and what I thought I once knew about what I was, what I could be, and what I will be all become different things. First there's a body on the floor of his penthouse suite and then I'm in a van with him and the other two wolves with him. Mysterious wolves that seem off to me, but I can't quite figure out why. These are dangerous, rejected wolves and I'm in a whole lot of danger. Can I survive with three such unpredictable people? And how long can I resist the one my wolf claims as her mate?
Figuring out what to do with me was their first problem. What comes next? I'm about to find out.
More Than a Wolf is a continuation of The Wolves of Lupine Falls but can be read as a standalone.
Great storyline set some years ahead of the previous two books. I have eagerly awaited this next book in the Wolves of Lupine Falls series. In this one we learn more about what Rhonda gets up to and meet up again with some of our favourite characters from Lupine Falls (book 1 & 2). Our main characters in this book are running from Rhonda, Phoenix and his henchmen. The story has danger, action, fear and insight. Elissa’s discovery of her powers comes just the nick of time. It was a heartfelt moment when Jace and Elissa realise that they are meant to be together. I really enjoyed this story but feel that the three books in this series should be read in order so as to allow a new reader to better understand the background behind the Clan’s thoughts and actions. Don’t miss this one! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Elissa has been staying out of sight for many years. Then Jace, a wolf shifter, arrives at the hotel where she works. Is she ready to go on the run yet again? The discovery of a dead body will make that a necessity and her life will be turned upside-down. His two companions make her nervous for an unknown reason. Will they put her in further danger? Is her wolf telling her she has found her mate?
She finally gets her freedom by going home. There are more wars to fight but she finds her other half and her meaning in life so things start to look like theres a future.
