This was the super fun romp I was looking for. I absolutely loved this ott plot, possessive alpha male, sweet sassy lady, science experiment gone wrong or maybe gone right story! It's been a long time since I had some Alexa Riley goodness. I won't let it be so long again. Read this to put you in a good mood. Or in the mood. ☺️ Happy reading!

I really wanted to like this but the story was literally incomplete? 🧍‍♀️🧍‍♀️🧍‍♀️- 1.5 stars -

It started off really nicely, but sort of went downhill-

The smut-to-story ratio was so unnecessary I can't 😭- there was so much plot going on, for the book to literally just not explain anything and cut off. The ending was so random pls.

This stressed me out bc wtf was this 💀- Kinda disappointed with this one 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I REALLY REALLY enjoyed this story. But it wasn't complete.
It was an intro, followed by an epilogue.
It had a really good start, and then you turn the page and it's the epilogue. It was so disappointing.Maybe the middle is in the next story in the series, but this one felt hollow and incomplete.

O mis gustos han cambiado o las historias de Alexa Riley no han hecho nada más que empeorar. Ya no entregan ni lo que promete en su sinopsis. Un villano que quiere destruir el mundo... Tal vez en otro libro porque desde luego no en este o tal vez si hubieran querido continuar la historia porque no tiene ni pies ni cabeza.
Se meten en un berenjenal con toda la historia de trasfondo que ni resuelven ni lo intentan siquiera. Entiendo que quieran continuar la historia pero entonces que las vendan como una sola porque para esto mejor es no perder el tiempo leyéndolo.

Alexa Riley should've made this way more interesting with a twist and all. Instead, they make some loose ends and hang-ups. And the sequel only made this story shallow. I hope you get better like you used to be, Alexa!

It's been a hot minute since I picked up an AR book.
And I gotta tell ya, I don't miss the annoyance I sometimes feel at the end of the books because I feel like a large portion of the story is missing.
This is a reoccuring issue for me with many of AR's books. I feel that the books are either too fast and don't clear up unanswered questions...or like this one they just seem to glaze over everything to give us readers the most over the top romance.

I will say this.
I absolutely love that AR gave us a story with a man who's genetics have been altered...
and yet the only way to soothe the thing inside him is the woman he's been pining away for for 6 years.

Keaton and Elsy were inseparable as teens but after an accidental lab accident he disappeared for six years. Poor Elsy lost her parents at a young age and when Keaton ghosted her she fell apart. They meet again at her twenty first birthday party and their reunion is pure combustion. Keaton got some super powers when he absorbed some volatile chemicals but Elsy helps him keep in control. I can’t wait to find out what happens next!

Creo q es el libro con mejor trama de Alexa Riley, es bastante distinto a los demás que han escrito, tiene super poderes, mujeres en la ciencia, family issues, etc.

Encuentro que si se hubiesen dado el tiempo de hacerlo como realmente se merecía, este libro estaría vendiéndose como pan caliente🔥🔥🔥Una pena q sea una historia de menos de 100 páginas, me hizo falta más relleno, detalles y más de la historia (porque tiene mucho potencial)

Also theres no heat to the story like there usually is it was just meh.? Unlike the authors.

As this book was expensive im not buying the other one as i feel cheated by not being honest that its uncomplete story.
