Anyone who thinks a harem book doesn't need a story should read this series. It has world building, it has fully fleshed out characters, it has a proper story. There is humor and hints of more complexity just waiting to unfurl. Whatever type of book you enjoy, never settle for anything less than proper writing. This has proper writing.
Boy oh boy! I loved this one! It was not only full of laughs but also very fulfilling! First off, let me say LAURA best girl. I said it. FIGHT ME!!! Also. I have a huge question mark over my head about Blossom 🤣 that girl makes me wonder because I’m thinking she has some impure thoughts in that head of hers. Ashe is so loveable as well. This book was all about self discovery, get backs and redemption. I’ve slowly grown to like Thalia as well. Darren has found himself some good women. Even Morgana has whittled her way into my good graces again now that she’s not being totally foolish. Callum has also come into his own. Something tells me there’s so much more to Laura. I want to know more about her and I don’t think Darren is done with her. Besides, he needs one “bad girl” wife. He has Ashe and Asuriel, so the heavenly brides are covered 🤩😜. Not to mention the seraphim succubi he reverted… knight!!!! We need book 4 ASAP!! I’m now a huge fan.
No that's a book. Get a lot of reading for your money here. And a lot of story. Obviously Darren continuous to grow and power and ability and is still by the end confused by much Of humanity. For all his power and strength some minor things still confused him. Which of course makes the story more enjoyable. Also the occasional hints of items and things from our world being dropped at a time our fun as well. Ultimately curious to see what the long-term tie in is. Basically this book is battles from front to finish with an occasional and I do mean occasional Sexy time scene. The harem here does not interfere with the story and certainly doesn't consume many of the pages. I enjoy this book and the series. The world building is a lot of fun not super detailed but enough to keep the reader entertained. The MC , Darren, has gone from a small thorn in the side of the enemy to become a large boa wrapped around it's entire being. Good fun. Watch the demons burn. I assume next on the plate Are the treacherous heavenly host. Maybe less heavenly than host to evil. I'm looking forward to the next book.
4.5⭐️3.5🌶️ This GameLit science fiction fantasy was really good. The storyline contains gaming progression with quests and rewards/penalties as well as building of skills and advancements. There are hellish and heavenly creatures as well as magic and gaming-like elements.
This book is the 3rd in the series of Darren who is a powerful young man who, in book 1, was forced to take refuge in Hell as a young boy. This book follows his journey to increasing his power as he fights Hell’s worst to save cities, his friends and humankind. The impressive storyline is completely plot driven with some smatterings of romantic and harem elements, which do not take away from the impressive storyline. Though each battle is unique, fighting demons and such is a bit repetitive as these books are chunky and this one had a lot of battles scenes filling its pages. But the storyline is so good that I can’t help but want to know what happens next.
Best book in the series so far, and i've got no complaints. This was also the funniest book of the series so far as well. I laughed my ass off a few times while reading it. There's plenty of humor in the haremlit books i read, but most of it just gets crickets from me, but this book was pretty funny in parts. Especially when Darren and Azuriel opened that entrance to hell. haha
These are pretty long books, which is great, but i imagine they also take quite a while to write. I hope i don't have to wait too long for the next book. Although, looking at the state of Darren and his 4th order army, i imagine the rest of the story is just mop up. But hopefully there's a few surprises in there.
Oh, and Marvin Knight, please bring back those Succubi turned Seraphim.
another banger in the series, with more and more little peeks at the history of the world that are getting me so hypppeeee! somewhere in the middle-ish i think got a bit repetitive with but i can understand that it's meant to show his strength, and it was pretty easy to get through. after that, all the lore drops and new characters were super exciting, and i love to see a fight that's more evenly matched or even difficult for darren. i love how OP he is but appreciate still seeing him grow. this one also played with my heart a bit!!
It is nearly impossible to find a barefoot series that is well thought out and we'll written with characters who are interesting beyond the sex scenes but this series pulls it off. Marvin Knight looks above other barefoot authors the way his protagonist looks above regular men in his world. If you enjoy this genre for more than just the sex, give this series a read.
This brief reprieve from the normal books with balanced main characters who struggle and barely defeat enemies horror slightly stronger than them has been nice to read a book about an opium main character especially one with so satisfying abilities and even lwed was fairly well placed end of decent quality
This book was a great addition to the Knight's series. The quality has not dropped at all. Only negatives are pacing and the longevity between books. I await the next one wholeheartedly.
The first book in this series was kind of a slog to get through because the protagonist packed direction. That was fixed in book 2. This newest installment was so good, it retroactively made the first book seem better. It was that good.
I did not think the series could get better after the first 2 books butthis one is the best yet my congratulations to the author on a entertaining enthralling read that kept me guessing to the end. Excellent job!
Wow, so much information!!!! Answers to most of what has been going wrong in this world and more questions to ponder!!! I for one can't wit to see wht happens next!!!
That’s all I can really say. Please don’t stop writing this series. Please don’t make us wait months on end for the next book or for the book hopefully there after.
Honestly, I wasn't sure what I expected from this installment, but the return to Hell was everything I wanted. Lots of ups and downs, but one thing is for sure. Darren knows how to hunt demons.
I just finished reading book 3. And I didn't want it to end. I'm looking forward to reading book 4. I can't wait. Darren has been kicking butt the whole time. I'm ready to see if his new powers will be enough to defeat his mothers killer.
This is the best of the three books n my opinion. We continue to see the growth of Darren, his wives and his growing legion. He has become more powerful and has found a true path beyond heaven or hell.
I really enjoyed reading this book. So much awesome happens. It was fun and entertaining. The story and characters continue to be interesting and engaging. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what happens next. This book is a definite must.
This time the story returns to it's roots within the hells for some epic demon murder, and introduces us to my favourite character in the series, Laura.
This series is committed to it's theme, if you liked it so far, you probably still will.
It's hilarious how socially inept Darren is, but seeing as he spent 15 years in hell without human contact it fits. I just laugh every time the hints thrown his way go over his head.
Great writing and development of the world and characters. Look forward to learning more about Darren’s family history and where the story will take us next.
The book and the MC are going back to its roots, getting stronger. Therefore Darren goes all the way to the seventh circle of Hell, so he can defeat the circle of archdemons.
First off keep in mind this is a power fantasy. That being said this is a wonderful story with real character development. I am looking forward to the next book very much.
