Chasing Celeste was my third Savvy Rose experience and it was my absolute favorite! I didn’t think Wolf of the Woods could be topped, but I was wrong!
Celeste was a spitfire! She embarked on a journey to unravel mysteries from her past and found a lot more than she bargained for, but she took those surprises in stride.
The story moved forward with effortless flow, keeping me invested in Celeste and her mission, while incorporating elements that were delightfully unexpected.
Casper was my favorite character. A fierce protector with a soft side only revealed to those closest to him.
Savvy weaved together numerous elements to create a beautifully dark and enticing tapestry.
I highly recommend this book if you like supernatural tropes, astrology, body positive representation, and spice.

From Dusk Til Dawn meets AHS: Coven with a touch of.. Hmmm Byzantium?

-Pyrotechnic witch with a "deadly" curse
-Body positive FMC with no filter
-A group of badass witches
-One grumpy sunshine
Celeste has a secret and is on a mission to find the one who might have the answer she is looking for. Along the way she gets swept up into the world of the Coven of Crystals and finds that some things are not myth but reality!
While Chasing Celeste started a bit slow, it really sent me in for a shocker! A few chapters in and I was shocked to discover just exactly the Crystal Coven was and woah was it the last thing I ever saw coming! I loved the concept of escorts for Vampires where they used them as a vessel and more only if the woman consented. But wait... it doesn't end there... There is a special reason why each girl is chosen to be apart of the coven.
In the end, all Celeste wanted was to be loved and belong for once in her life.
The end had me swiping furiously to see the connection between Celeste & Domenico. I hope to read more on it in the next book!

Celeste is running from her past, she can’t escape the fire and her dreams. Trying to figure out her Mothers past and the disappearance of her best friend Jane she heads to meet Moxie a witch who owns strip clubs in Vegas. Caught in the strange clubs pull she signs a contract to become one of the Crystal girls. Pulled into this dysfunctional world of money, vampires and sex, Celeste becomes consumed with Casper one of the bodyguards. Finding no real answer about her Mom or Jane her mind pulls her to New Orleans where her Mom’s friend lives. Setting out on a road trip with Casper and his hot sister Marcella, she finds nothing is what it seems in New Orleans.
This book was a great read, if your into witchy magic, some vampires and touch of smut this is your read!

Wow! I found this to be a great break from my usual subgenres of horror. Rose is a dark smut author and if smut is your thing, do yourself a favor and get this!
There were some hot scenes in this that I won't soon be forgetting, if ever. All of that wet and wild stuff takes place as Celeste sets out to find out two very burdensome mysteries: 1) more about her mom's time in New Orleans & 2) what has happened to her best friend Jane?
Before she can really delve into finding those answers she needs money and meets a very independent strip club owner Moxie, who has a proposition for her. It seems very kismet. As if the stars have aligned....

Vampires, witches, and voodoo.... OH MY!!!!
I am OBSESSED! I need my own Casper and I want to be Celeste! This book has everything! Hot boys, road trips, and NOLA, with a little steam thrown in. I know this book is going to be running through my head for awhile. It is definitely going on my list of rereadable favorites!

Great book.
Celeste is chasing her moms past and trying to find her lost friend. On her quest she finds not just what she was looking for but more questions and possibly love.
Book started a little bit slow for me but once I got past chapter 9 it moved a lot better. I couldn’t put it down until Celeste got her answers and now I need more

Fun adventure! The plot has me invested in this world and I’m so ready for ruby’s book. I know she is gonna turn up the heat 🔥

There are a lot of things happening in this book and I love all of the plot twists!!
Bodyguard Romance is a weakness of mine.
This was spicy in a very interesting way. The temptation, the restraint, the broken man.
I didn't see the twist at the end, that was surprising.

Wow this was such a wild ride. I loved every second of this book. I was hooked from the first page ! Celeste is such a bad witch with a capital B .. if you get my drift. I loved everything bout her. That cliffhanger though ! Lol I can’t wait for the rest of the series !
