World-renowned architecture professor Hiroshi Furukawa has never been one to back down from a challenge.
But for the first time, he’s facing a problem he can’t solve—being forced into early retirement after being diagnosed with heart failure. Only in his early fifties and a workaholic for thirty years, Hiroshi can’t accept having to change his lifestyle. But he knows he has to keep his promise to his late wife and stay healthy and happy for their only daughter, Sara.
Gaynor Beach wasn’t his ideal place to settle down, but Hiroshi knows that if he’s going to support his daughter and his twin grandsons, they’ll have to move into his old family home. Yet, there’s something missing in their new lives, and Hiroshi finds it when he runs into a former student, Jayden.
Now pursuing a career as a firefighter, Jayden seems like the perfect match for his wayward daughter—young, handsome, financially stable, family-oriented, and, most importantly, single. Hiroshi’s determined to play matchmaker to ensure his family will have a secure future.
But there are two big issues with his plan: Jayden is gay, and he’s in love with his former professor.
Can Jayden convince Hiroshi that he’s the perfect man for him and not his daughter? Or is Hiroshi too stuck in his ways?
Hiroshi is a gay single dad contemporary romance set in the shared world of Gaynor Beach, featuring an age-gap, interracial, forbidden love story with an older bottom ready for a fresh start, a younger top eager to guide him, bickering pets, and two adorable grandkids.

DNF: 30% Cute story and I was really engaged with Hiroshi especially. However, there were substantial editing mistakes that made it so difficult to read, such as not knowing who was talking, if it was a thought or actual dialogue and one whole massive section was completely missing as if she cut it out and the paragraphs combined misshapenly. Like it was an obvious cut+delete
I appreciate the ideas behind them but sadly I couldn't really connect with the characters. The plots were quite realistic and the interracial combination is excellent. It was certainly readable and it was good to meet a number of previous characters from the series.
Steamy M/M romance! This story follows Hiroshi, a retired architecture professor, who returns to his hometown of Gaynor Beach with his daughter and her two infant sons. By chance, he runs into Jayden, a former student who is now a firefighter, as he is walking his two newly rescued dogs along the beach. Sparks fly, although some chaos ensures from the wacky madcap characters in their life. Some very steamy scenes, but sweet romantic themes throughout. I would definitely recommend for fans of romance!
A sweet romantic book about second chances and starting over. Hiroshi returned to his hometown after he retired from the job that he love. He's helping his daughter raise her twin sons after their father didn't want to help. Hiroshi ran into his former student, Jayden. Jayden is a firefighter and has a secret crush on his former teacher. Hiroshi tries to set Jayden up with his daughter but Jayden only has eyes for Hiroshi. The book is sweet, romantic, funny, and sexy and their chemistry can be seen whenever they get together. Overall it's a great book and I enjoyed it and the series.
I didn't mind the idea behind this one, but the execution wasn't great. The editing ran out about 50 pages in, the characters' behaviour and decisions were not believable, and let's not talk about the condom conversation.
