Holy hotness! This book will absolutely melt your e-reader!





Jillian and Cash are killing me! Their lover to enemies to lover theme had me turning pages as quickly as I could. Their chemistry is nuclear and there’s no way I could set this aside. The fact that Jillian is keeping a secret from Cash amped the angst up and had my heart racing before it totally broke with the cliffhanger. Arrgh!!! I need the next book NOW!





I highly recommend this contemporary sports romance filled with great characters, their friends and plenty of laughter. Don’t forget to wear your oven mitt!

So happy to finally hear Jillian's story. We've gotten little bits of information in the past books in the series but definitely not enough. Like why is she with someone she chose over Cash in a reality TV show when she and Cash have scorching chemistry. We still don't know the answer to that question but their chemistry is off the charts so it's only a matter of time until we find out why she continues to stay with Stuart.

I can't wait to find out!

Jillian and Cash’s story is finally coming and it’s one that will keep you guessing as to what the answers are to questions posed in previous books - like why didn’t she give the rose to Cash and more🤔…I can’t wait to see what happens next and oh my gosh that ending🥺

I don’t want to give anything away but suffice to say we all know Jillian and Cash belong together but for some reason is engaged to Stuart….and Jessa coined a new term to describe Stuart, which I hope to use for many years to come😉

Hate Puck (Las Vegas Angels #5) by Jessa York is a contemporary forbidden second-chance sports romance told in first person, dual POV. It’s the fifth book in the Las Vegas Angels series and the first half of a duet, so it ends with a cliffhanger.

If you’ve read the previous books, you’ve already met Jillian and Cash, and you probably wondered why they’re not together when there’s obviously something between them. Hate Puck gets us a little closer to some answers as it explores how their relationship develops after Cash is traded to the Las Vegas Angels.

I enjoyed Jillian and Cash’s story. They are both likable, well-developed characters, with buckets of chemistry. I enjoyed their background story about how they met and fell in love on a reality dating show, and I can’t wait to find out why Jillian didn’t give Cash her final rose, instead choosing to get engaged to the other guy—a guy she can’t stand. I wonder what he’s holding over her head.

Despite the fact that Jillian has a fiancé, she can’t stay away from Cash, and they can’t keep their hands off each other. Dating among the Angels is forbidden, so they keep sneaking around. And Cash thinks they’re back together, but Jillian is keeping secrets, and one of them is that no matter how much she loves Cash, she’s not leaving her fiancé. I don’t know how they’re going to resolve everything, but I’m looking forward to finding out in Love Puck, the second half of the duet.

As in true Jessa York fashion she brings her A game in this installment of the Las Vegas Angels series. Now we get a little more of what is going on with Cash and Jillian. We have had little tid bits here and there in the other books but now we finally get a few answers, well until you get to the end at least.

There always seemed to be that spark for these 2 but there had always been something that is keeping them from finally taking that leap and with the recap of when Jillian was on a dating show Single Girl, we were all left to think she would offer Cash that final rose, but it went to Stuart instead leaving everyone in complete shock. I know there must have been something that happened that no one knows except Jillian and Stuart.

I need to know what happened to make Jillian do what she is doing and sacrifice her happiness with the man she really loves. Jessa York leaves us hanging but hope to have bk 2 soon.

First of Duet – Reader and Cash need Answers!!

Jillian and Cash are on professional hockey teams. They live in the same condo complex as part of a reality show. Jillian was previously on the reality show Single Girl, a dating show. Cash was one of the contestants and there were instant sparks. She begged out of one date with a migraine excuse, but now is “engaged” to the scoundrel Stuart. We do not know what events occurred to create this situation, but both Jillian and Cash were shattered when the “rose” went to Stuart.

We see them in action during this story, but there is a big reveal coming. I hope all is set to right in book #2!!

How could she!?!

I am so happy we got to hear Jillian’s story. I have been patiently waiting to find out about her. And then there’s Cash Clemens. The newest addition to the Las Vegas Angels hockey team. Jillian is an influencer and former Single Girl star. Cash is also the reason she became a hockey player. These two are back in each other’s lives and the chemistry has not faded. Cash is trying not to ask why he didn’t get the final rose from her when they were on Single Girl together. Or what happened between her and Stuart (the final rose recipient).

Hate Puck is the first book in this duet and is full of questions, unresolved issues and lots of secret and enticing hookups. No reason to put this down once you start. It’s easy to fall into and get lost in. Now, give me Love Puck I need answers!!!

I have been eagerly awaiting Jillian's book and I was so happy with book 1 (though there are some unanswered questions which will be answered in book 2 of the duet). Jillian has been a part of the women's team and done her best to support her friends and this time she needs the support. Jillian met Cash before when they were both on a dating show but she chose another guy (who was given the best & perfect nickname) even knowing there were sparks between them & hurt Cash. When they meet again I wasn't sure if Cash would even give her the time of day but happily he did. I am excited to find out what the answers are to the unanswered questions when book 2 is released.

We finally get Cash and Jillian's story and what whirl wind it is. Jillian is the girl who, for some reason did not give Cash the rose at the end of Single Girl. Was Cash's heart broken? Why did she give the rose to Stuart, her current fiance? Will having Cash part of the Las Vegas Angels mens team? With the two of them having to be so close because of hockey, what will happen? The sparks that ignite turn into a full blown 5 alarm blaze
Ms. York always give us a story full of heat and twists andhoy does this one have both. I cannot wait to see what happens in Love Puck, the next part in Cash and Jillian's story. Oh and that cliffhanger.

We finally see more of Cash and Jillian.

We previously saw bits and pieces but now they have their own book.

They have something going on between them and now we finally get some answers as we see what happens after Cash is traded to the Las Vegas Angels.

I loved discovering their background how they met and fell in love on a reality show.

Even though Jillian has a fiancé she can't seem to stay away from Cash or their hands from each other.

Dating among the Angels is forbidden so they sneak around and while Cash thinks they are back together, Jillian is keeping secrets....


I need Love Puck now, I need to know more...

This hurts. So very much. It’s clear that Jillian and Cash should be everything to each other. They should be planning forever. They should be open and free and public about their love. But…they aren’t. They can’t be. And I’m beginning to figure out why. I just really, really hope it’s not what I’m thinking it is. Because Jillian’s clearly it for Cash and he’s clearly it for her, right?

Or so we think. And I’m pretty sure it’s going to get a lot uglier and far more painful before all secrets come out and happiness is found. I need to know, though. So I’ll wait for it.

This book series is part of the Las Vegas Angels hockey series. We have met the sweet Jillian who is part of the women’s hockey team in other books in the series. She is always there for her friends no matter what they are going through. Cash is new to the men’s team but we see he already knew Jillian from a dating show they where both on. Their story is definitely one of heartbreak so far. They both obviously love one another completely but Jillian is keeping some secrets. Will they get their happily ever after or is it just not meant to be?

I have been waiting for Jillian's story! I loved her in the previous books and couldn't wait to find out all the things about her, especially why Stewart! This book has no shortage of heat starting in the first chapter! Jillian and Cash's chemistry did not fade one bit. They belong together so I need to know why Jillian is with the douch canoe lol. There are definitely more questions than answers at the end of this one. I loved Cash. My heart broke for him. I'm a little mad at Jillian for misleading him, but I hope she redeems herself in Love Puck!!

This is the first part of Jillian and Cash’s story. They are so perfect together! However, something happened in the single girl show and she gave Stuart the rose and is still going ahead with the marriage even though she’s in love with Cash.

This is a cliffhanger! It ends when you’re expecting more! I hope the second part is the conclusion of their story! I don’t think I can take the suspense.

Cash and Jillian have this amazing chemistry that we have witnessed in the previous books. Jillian was on a dating show and everyone knew she would pick Cash but at the end she shocked them all, including Cash, and picked the Douche Canoe Stu. Cash's heart was broken. We never understood why.

Now, Jillian has let Cash back into her heart, but it is kept under wraps. We get some little pieces of what happened last year, but still not enough to get the whole picture. Why did she give Stu the rose and where is he now? Chase is just so happy to have his Jillian back, any way he can. Until the big shock at the end! This is the first book of a duet so hang tight, the rest is coming!

Short intro into Cash and Jillian

I think this novella should have been incorporated into Cash & Jillian’s story-proper. This felt a bit of a piece-meal telling of their story. There are heaps of unanswered questions about why Jillian selected Stuart instead of Cash, but I’m guessing threats and blackmail may be in the mix.

In “Hate Puck,” we meet Jillian and Cash, and the steamy action starts in chapter 1 and does not quit! These two are sooo hot together and their chemistry is off the charts. I want to say there’s a mix of friends to lovers with some forbidden love thrown in the mix. I’m super interested to see what happens next after the cliffy at the end of this book!!!

"Hate Puck" (Las Vegas Angels Book 5) by Jessa York was a great read. I enjoyed this first part of Cash and Jillian's story. This story had romance, passion, entertaining characters, hockey, and more. I'm anxious to see what happens next. This was a terrific addition to this series. I highly recommend it to all fans of hockey, romance, and series.

Hate Puck is book five in the Las Vegas Angels series and it's Cash and Jillian's story. I couldn't wait for this book. It's full of so many emotions and the chemistry is off the charts hot. There are so many secrets that we still need answers to. It's heartbreaking to see these two Soulmates being kept apart for unknown reasons as of yet. This one ends on a cliffy in true Jessa style. I cannot wait for the next book to find out how their story ends.

Such mystery surrounding these two. Jillian and Cash are the couple in books 5 and 6. They have chemistry that is crazy amazing but secrets threaten to tear them apart.

The cliffhanger ending is kindle throwing material for sure!

I am ready for the next book so we can wrap things up and Jillian and Cash can have their HEA!
