If you are an SME owner looking to scale your business, this is an excellent book. Simple, easy to understand with tools you can put into practice almost immediately. Too many books in this field focus on large organizations. I especially liked this one because it's focus is on the smaller scale business which form the majority of businesses worldwide. Another plus is that the tools in the book can be implemented in any area of the world. The authors clearly understand the personal investments and sacrifices that SME owners make from start up, for many years, often with few returns to show. The authors share several tools that can be implemented in small steps to scale a business. Having struggled for years to keep a business running (and doing almost all the work), I have taken keen note where the authors emphasize that scaling a business does not necessarily mean more hours and energy in the business by the owner, but rather, making smart choices about how you use your time and resources.
