Read it (skimmed it strategically?) while going through my coursework all those years ago. Teaching an “Ethics in Behavior Analysis” course this semester brought me back to it.
Reading it AGAIN and teaching to it was a perfect calibration tool to ensure I’m acting in accordance with our Ethics Code, as well as the integrity and well-being of our clients AND our field.
Not rating a textbook. BAH. But behavior analysts— I’d encourage each of you to pick it up AGAIN. It’s not a waste of time.
If you get anxious on planes, this is the audiobook for you. I dozed off listening to Peter Coates melodic voice, lurched awake due to turbulence, then this book sent me right back to chillville in no time.10 outta 10. Monotonous yet interesting.
obv a required text for my coursework but honestly did a great job describing the details of each code item and making me realize how complicated our field can when people don’t know the code well enough
