I’ve always sworn off relationships, in my line of work its safer for me not to be distracted. Plus, it doesn’t help that I’ve watched each of my co-workers almost lose the women they love. I’m not going to do that to some poor woman.

Of course, that’s until I do my buddy a favor, picking up his sister and niece from the airport. The moment I lay eyes on Millie Buckley and her daughter Joanna I’m in love. Except I resist the pull that’s there and do all I can to fight it.

Marcus Johnson is the first man that has made my heart race in a long time. He’s sweet, kind, a little rough around the edges, and good to my daughter. I know he feels the same attraction I do, but he doesn’t act on it.

We finally give into our feelings, and it is everything we both could’ve hoped for, but things aren’t that easy for us.

Someone is watching our every move and danger lurks around us just waiting for the opportunity to strike, but Marcus will stop at nothing to protect us. The real question is, who will protect him?

Sexy

I love this series. But there's some thing about Marcus. That man was hot. Millie was the best mom and Joanne was so adorable. I hope there is more in this series.

This is book five in The Rogue Security and Investigations Series and it is Millie and Marcus story and omg it is definitely a must read. When Marcus goes to the airport to pick up his best friend's sister and niece he wasn't expecting his attraction and reaction to Millie especially as his job is dangerous and he doesn't do relationships or commitments and it didn't matter how much he wanted her he couldn't do anything about it as her brother Dalton is his best friend and there is a bro code in place for a reason. Millie is a single mom to her daughter Joanna and they have moved to America to be close to her brother Dalton and they both seem to be adjusting well to there new life as they have been really welcomed into the fold by Dalton's friend's and workmates who are starting to feel like family enabling Millie and Joanna to move forward with there lives and having Marcus as a friend is the icing on the cake even if she would like more and he is amazing with her daughter but all he sees her as is his best friend's sister. The chemistry between Millie and Marcus is so strong and intense and when they eventually give in to his they feel it is absolutely explosive but danger is just around the corner and someone is watching and waiting for the right time to strike but will Marcus be able to protect the two most important people in his life before they get caught in the cross fire. This book takes you in right from the start and kept your attention throughout and I couldn't put it down and read it in one sitting because it was a real page turner and totally addictive and I can't wait to read the next book in this amazing series.

After her brother was injured trying to safe his girlfriend, Millie and her daughter Joanna move from England to the United States. Joanna being so young, is adjusting easier and quicker than Millie is. However, the sexy Marcus, her brother’s best friend makes it easier for Millie to adjust.

Marcus has stayed away from relationships because after being in the service he knows how hard it can be on a loved one when his job is so dangerous. Working for Rogue Security is no different than the service, his job as a bounty hunter is just as dangerous and he doesn’t want to put someone he loves in danger or in position to worry about him. However, when he meets Joanna and Millie in person when they fly in, all bets are off. He finds Millie to be more beautiful in person and Joanna steals his heart right off. When Millie and Joanna find themselves in danger inadvertently, Marcus realizes that his life is better with them in it and he will protect them and care for them no matter what.

I loved this story, and the characters were great. I’ve only read a few of the Rogue Security books, but Security Threat was a great read. I look forward to catching up on the other books in the series and reading more to come in the near future. I give this book a 4-star review.

Marcus and Millie gave us a journey from friendship to forever with fabulous times in between. They may have begun as friends, but there’s attraction on both parts. Even if they don’t admit it or see it in the other’s eyes, everyone else sure does! But when the person you want is your best friend’s sibling, it’s difficult to take the chance because nothing in life is guaranteed. When that friend sees the possibilities and encourages it, though, maybe the risk is worth the probable reward.

Luckily, Marcus takes that risk. Sure, he makes a few mistakes and almost loses Millie a couple of times, but he learns fast. And he never makes the same mistake twice. Even ego and fears of being inadequate can’t keep these two down for long, which is refreshing when you think about how easily things could be derailed. Best is the fact that these two communicate and don’t let things fester. When one is being dumb, the other is willing to call them on it. And that’s exactly as it should be, especially when these two have their hearts set on forever. They just have to survive the danger coming for them first, but it’s worth the beauty that lies ahead of them in the end.

Another great book in the Rogue Security series, I found it impossible to put down.
Marcus and Millie’s story is probably just a little too long to call a novella, but I honestly did devour this book. Right from the start these two had a connection and feelings started to develop. Both were eager to turn their friendship into something more, but also hesitant at the same time. But once these two finally took that step, except for a small hiccup, they were in it for the long haul.
Now it wouldn’t be a Rogue Security book without a little suspense and drama. With this book in particular, the person behind it all was quite apparent, it was just a matter of the team getting all the evidence together to prove it. I loved this part of the story, the team working together, Marcus and Millie growing stronger as a couple. It ended up being one of my favorites of the whole series.
The snippet at the end of the next and final book has me super excited to get my hands on it. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

Evan Grace has entered my list of favorite authors, this is the fifth book in the Rogue Security and Investigation series and I will definitely be reading the other parts as well. The storyline and build-up are well written and I enjoyed the chemistry and attraction between Millie and Marcus, and the fact that her daughter Joanna liked him too made their story absolutely top notch. When they give in to their feelings it's everything they both could have dreamed of, but they can't be happy for long because there's that point where someone is after her and watching everything she does. Will they be able to unravel the mystery of who is after her before it's too late? This is highly recommended and I'm already looking forward to reading the other volumes.

Marcus is a bounty hunter for Rogue Security and can be on the road a lot but loves his job and the team. He was in the Navy for 8 years and transitioned to civilian life with the security company.

Millie, is Dalton's sister, and is making a big move across the pond to be close to her family. She is bringing her 5 year old daughter, Joanna with her. They are going be starting over but with Dalton and his team at her back she can feel safe.

Marcus realizes how much he likes Millie and hopes that she feels the same way about venturing into this new territory together. But...danger comes and Marcus needs to step up and protect his girls. "He brought this danger into their lives but he will vow to protect them."

4 Stars!

Evan Grace is back with the next book in her addicting Rogue Security and Investigations series and what a book this was. I've missed this series the last couple of years so I was stoooooked to see a new one coming out and it didn't disappoint for a single moment.

Security Threat gives us Millie and Marcus' story and y'all. My heart. These two. From their first meeting I knew these two would deliver and boy did they. Packed to the brims with heart, heat, suspense, and alllll of the feels.. their journey was really good, a little complicated and twisted but gahhh so worth it.

It was nice to go back and reread this series with this newbie.

I can't recommend this author and series enough y'all.

Security Threat is the fifth book in Rouge Security and Investigation series. This is the first book I read in the series and from this author but I didn't have any problems following the story.

I really liked the book. Marcus is a hot protective Alpha male and Millie is a lovely strong mother to her little girl. I enjoyed the characters and the storyline and to follow the relationship between Marcus and Mille and her daughter.

I have a soft spot for these kind of books and really want to read the rest in the series.

Yes!!

It was so good to be back amongst it with the Rogue Security and Investigation team and their families.
Boy, have they all been through the wringer at something or another, but they always have each other's backs.
When Millie moves to America after Dalton's accident, the while team make her and her daughter feel welcome. But Marcus makes her feel so much more!
The chemistry between them is fire and the relationship between him and Millie's daughter makes my heart melt!
However, someone doesn't like it and will go to great lengths to mess with them.
What a great read!! And that tease at the end?!!

Another fun read in this wonderful series and this time we cover the bro code phenomenon. Marcus heads to the airport to pick up his best friends sister and niece what he didn't expect was an instant attraction to Millie Dalton's sister So now not only does he have to contend with that fact but he also knows his job is to dangerous to have a family. Millie is just glad to have Marcus as a friend for her and her daughter Joanne even if she would like more but all that tension between them will finally explode and they give into their feelings but can they have a future. You will have to read to see

Security Threat is a short read about a single mom from England and her brother’s best friend in the States. Millie and Marcus met in person for the first time when he picks her and her daughter Joanna up from the airport since they are moving to the states to be with her brother since he’s the only family she has left. The two grow close and progress into a relationship however a case that Marcus is working almost causes them a huge sacrifice. I generally enjoyed this story but heavily wishful that there was more at the end.

Thanks to Booksprout for a copy of this book.

This was a short, mostly fluffy story with minimal angst and drama. It showcases the relationship developing between Marcus and Millie, who is his friend's sister and a single mother to Joanna. The smut was okay, not too intense, but it did come out of nowhere after page breaks. Hehehe. Come. I crack myself up.

Although this was a standalone series, the author mentioned the pasts and troubles of the other books' characters so we could still feel like we know them well.

The sneak peek at the end of the book made me interested in the next and final book of the series. Looking forward to reading it.

I absolutely loved Security Threat Book 5 of Rogue Security and Investigation. Millie and Marcus are instantly drawn to one another but Marcus thinks he needs to keep his distance since her brother is his best friend. Millie isn’t sure how Marcus feels but when she gets asked about by someone else she realizes she wants Marcus. Marcus finally makes a more and they are happy but strange things start happening and when they are attacked Marcus will blame himself. Will he walk away from Millie and her daughter? Such a great storyline and lovable characters. I would definitely recommend this book and the whole series.

This was a solid addition to this series. Marcus knows his work is dangerous and therefore he stays away from relationships. When he is asked by a teammate to pick up a relative at the airport, he finds more than he bargained for in Millie and her daughter. Both he and Millie are gun shy when it comes to relationships but neither can stay away. Someone doesn't want the two of them together. Will Marcus be able to neutralize the threat in time? I really enjoyed reading their book!

Thank you for the privilege of reading this book!

Marcus and Millie met when he picked up her and her daughter from the airport. Marcus was immediately skitters and so was Smokie. Both of them were afraid to admit their attraction because Marcus is her brother’s best friend. Marcus finally asks Millie out after he is prompted by a mutual friend. Their romance is very quick but perfect. Marcus adores Millie and her daughter. I was happy that Millie’s brother had no issue with their relationship. Great love story.

Millie and her daughter Joanna return to the U.S. after her brother is shot. She and her brothers best friend and coworker, Marcus, start up a relationship. Terrific characters, great backstories and a few glitches keep the story moving along quickly. Danger, secrets, revelations, entertaining situations, steamy interludes, group bonding and much more keep the action intense. Loved the group, their spouses, kids and close-knit family atmosphere. Well done.

After her brother is shot Millie and her daughter Joanna return to the United States and into the protection of Marcus. From the moment Marcus meets Millie he falls hard for her and Millie felt the same way. Although they both fight their feelings for each other in the end they get their happily ever after with some interesting twists, danger, action, drama, and steam along the way. Security Threat is book five and a great addition to the Rogue Security and Investigation series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This is the fifth book in this series, and this is Marcus and Millie’s story. Security agent Marcus swore of relationships a long time ago due to the dangerous nature of his line of work, that is until he meets single mom Millie. This is a well written fast paced, action packed story, with undeniable chemistry, intrigue, danger, suspense, mystery, and love, which leads to a steamy and addictive page turner.

I liked Marcus and Millie together. They were good to each other and were better together than apart. I liked that they were quick to clear up misunderstandings and didn't let things fester. Joanna was a cute kid and added to the story. It was pretty easy to figure out who was messing with Millie, but I still enjoyed the added mystery to the book.

I loved this book! No way would I call this a novella. I felt like a full on story and made me miss all these characters.

Marcus and Millie’s attraction is instant. There is no keeping them from each other. Even if one of them gets scared they realize pretty quick how they screwed up work quick to fix it.

The relationships everyone has in this security team and their families all feel so genuine. I continue to read them over and over again. Marcus and Millie will be the same.

Security Threat is a phenomenal addition to the Rogue Security series! It is excellent for Marcus to have his time in the limelight. From the first moment he saw Millie, he was all in, but so was she. With little action, Romance, and drama, this book was quick, easy, and entertaining. I hope that there is more from Rogue Security!

Marcus and Millie are a yummy addition to this series! This was a quick read for me as I couldn’t put it down once I started. It has everything you need; Marcus and Millie, who just make sense; the attraction and heat that these two can make-whew! Add in a little action, some drama as well as an adorable little girl and you get a fantastic book. I loved the attraction, their connection and even the danger that creeps in to try and destroy everything. A great read that you don’t want to miss!

This was the first book in the series that I read and I will be reading the rest of the series now. Marcus has always sworn off relationships because of his job but things change when his buddy asks him for a favor. When Marcus sees Millie and her daughter Joanna, all bets are off and another bites the dust (sorta speak) and he knows he'll do anything for them. This was such a great story!.

This was a cute and exciting story! It was well written and kept my attention, I got a little mad because I had to go to work, instead of reading the story. Throw in a crazy woman who is infatuated with the hero and mayhem ensues. I really enjoyed it! I will have to find the other book by this author and start at the beginning.

I've missed this series, it's one my absolute favorites! Millie moves to the US to be closer to her brother, Dalton (who was injured in a precious book). She and Marcus felt a connection right away, and when they finally gave in, things were electric. This a great book filled with love, suspense, and drama. I recommend reading the whole series first, but this could definitely be read as a standalone.
