Who will execute their plans first and end in a checkmate?
After patiently waiting for this book to be finished (by patiently I mean messaging the author on fb how much longer) she picked me for an ARC!! This was the last book in the trilogy. She wrapped everything up in a nice neat bow that I was so surprised when I opened it! After finishing this last book I felt sad to leave the characters in the book behind.
Goodness, I didn't think it could get any better, but this story was fantastic!! I really enjoyed this one if not more then the other 2.
I always love how there are enough characters that you think you know the plot twist but you definitely don't lol. What a mind blowing book! Actually the whole trilogy!
D. M. Foley did a fabulous job making sure there weren't any loose ends with each main character when finishing up the book.
I also found out recently from another reader's review that this location is real so I also was able to read the history on the Gardiner Island.
D. M. Foley did a wonderful job with all 3 books!! Such an amazing trilogy!
I was so eager for the book to come out. I hung on every word trying to see if I could figure out how it was going to end. The twist and turns made me read faster. I don't think I could turn the page fast enough. I'm sad it is over! I look forward to what is next from this author!
Although I loved the twists and little secrets. This was my least favorite. Still a good finish... There was so much death, and I really wanted everything to be a bad dream or for the family to succeed with their plans, which they partially did...
The final book in this awesome trilogy didn't disappoint. The story kept me guessing right up to the last page. Excellent story line and a fast read because I couldn't put it down.
