This story was written beautifully. Two people that were in love with each other but it took something to happen for the relationship to grow
When Star was kidnapped and left for dead Martim didn't know what happened to her and if she was dead. But he went looking for her and found her being taken care of by an old woman named Tupid.
Martim took Star back to his place and told her that she was his and a slave and would do what he said. But she refused to do so and took off as her memory slowly started coming back to her she realized who she was.
Would she stay with Martim or move on and live a lonely life/

The second attempt to read a book by this author, and the second disappointment. I liked the h but couldn't stand the H! I don't care how much I'm in love; I'll be damned if I'll let him stick a vinegar-soaked sponge in my vagina no matter how much I didn't want to get pregnant!

DNF!!!
