The Horthaw's Paramour

Rate this book
There’s no better way to make money on Verlain, the space brothel, than the Horthaw Barn — for anyone willing to be tied naked to a saw horse while wave after wave of alien soldiers satisfy their needs. In a single night, many women earn more than they’d make in a week. A lucky few earn a year’s worth.

And a single (un)lucky lady is chosen to spend a year on the Horthaw Spaceship, have a baby for their leader, and earn enough that they never have to work again.

Despite being an old pro at the Horthaw Barn, Emma never expected or wanted to be the Horthaw’s paramour. When a surprisingly intimate encounter with the second-in-command of the ship leads to her to be chosen, she’s not sure if his unusual behavior was meant to protect her or punish her. What she does know is the Horthaw have a proclivity for sharing, for preferring women who have already been taken by other, smaller, Horthaw.

And the second-in-command doesn’t want to share this time.

★★★

The Horthaw’s Paramour is loaded with “man salsa”. You know what I’m talking about. First page to last page, all “man salsa”. If you’re not interested in an erotic romance novella that’s glued together with buckets of “man salsa” — or if you’re not sure or don’t want to admit to yourself what “man salsa” means — this probably isn’t the book for you.

The Space Brothel universe includes triggers such as sex work, dub/non consent, breeding, lactation, body modification, and some absolutely bonkers alien "salsa dispensers".

This was wild and smutty and I finished it all in one go. If you’re looking for a short sci-fi breeding book with not a lot of plot but a lot of fun vibes then this is for you!

I'm trying to entice more readers.
The ones who actually will leave 4-5 star reviews.
Horthaw is the alien species name.

The woman signs up voluntarily, with 49 other women, to let her behind get used by a ship of alien species that actually likes and appreciates women.
Yes, they want consenting women!
There are no unclear terms
They are 100% willing.
The more horthaw that come to them, the longer that lady will stay.
They get paid by the number of horthaw that approach them.

Among those that stay the longest, one lucky lady will become a "Paramour"
(One will be picked to conceive offspring with the leader for a year.
And will be rewarded very well. Paid very well.
The selected woman is pampered and treated like the most desirable goddess in existence in the ship for that duration,
At least that's what is supposed to be)

She falls for one of them, not the leader, and the feeling is mutual.
But it's because he gave her affection and care, that she gets the attention of the leader (a-hole alert)

Here's the part that will help if you get a heads up.

when you finish reading the first part called "Part One: The Barn."

Download a free copy of "The Annual Horthaw Gang Bang"
It will help immensely on making things clearer.

Stop here if you want no spoilers.

Otherwise, here's a few fyis:

1. The aliens don't mature like humans and get weak and shrivel up like humans when they grow old.
They grow bigger in size, literally.
Therefore, they start out small.

2. The size of a Horthaw adult is not the same as a human.

3. It is an alien book, keep an open mind, and don't judge it like the author committed a crime.

4. The aliens and women that are important to the story have their own personalities.

4a. The women will not hurt each other.

4b. None of the important characters are stupid.
So it's not all light and good and quick reading.

A space brothel girl Is chosen a a paramour but finds true love with another.

“The Horthaw’s Paramour” is an enjoyable pleasant Chang from the typical alien romance genre. In the story Ms. Balkin exhibits excellent writing talent with wonderful characters in a story with unusual alian love rituals. It is a quite different story and delightfully entertaining. It seems to leave the way for another story involving the mail characters. If you want something out of the ordinary, this it the book for you. I recommend it highly and suggest that you don’t miss it.
Story Origin supplied me an ARC of this book for this honest review.

Omg! I loved this book! It has so many twists and turns; it will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time. The steamy bits and story line were incredible.

This has breeding k!nk if you're into that. Human alien gãngbang while tied up.

I’m not usually a fan of books with copious amounts of cum, but this book was actually pretty sweet and romantic. This is basically a monster fucker book, but for me it felt more on the sci fi side because the world felt very lived in.

Delightful

This was a really unique and delightful read. I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes aliens and 🍞ing. There are some sensitive subjects in this book as a result of a secondary male character.

good

This was a good quick read. Interesting premise, with that alien social and biological structure. And Crazy Lucy is so sweet for helping them.
