In attempting to define a precise plan of action in response to the particular piece of unexpected news she had recently (six months still qualified as recent, in relative terms, didn’t it?) received, Hermione did the only thing she knew would calm the tornado which was currently whirling about her stomach.
She made a list.
Pro: Any traits a person could hope for in the father of one's offspring are admittedly present in the man who has assisted in creating this one. Con: However many admirable traits he may possess, the aforementioned co-creator is still, to his detriment, Draco Malfoy.
This was a cute Dramione fic and I really enjoyed Hermiones POV but I didn’t feel that the Draco was very Draco, or just didn’t get much from him. Obviously I still had fun reading it and finished it quickly regardless ☺️
So cute! Probably rate this 3.8? Loved this more adult calm version of Hermione already at the height of her career. Draco was a bit more subdued than I expected, but fun to read the pining still!
What fun. Following two pining idiots have their sprinting circumstances make them catch up with their feelings that were always present. I always maintained that I dont want children, and might never want to have them. But if my partner is this dedicated, devoted, loyal, empathetic, passionate, and amazing. I just might change my mind. Anything less than this version of Draco Malfoy, I don't want it. I would rather be lonely forever than doom myself to a life of mediocraty, just because I settled when I knew I deserved the best.

One of the shorter Dramione fics I've read, which is a shame because I really loved the author's writing style!
Capable, savvy, political mastermind Draco working with MoM Hermione was the combo I didn't know I needed! I could read sooooo much more about this type of pairing between them!
This story is interesting because we're dropped in the middle; Hermione is ~6 months pregnant and has basically been sticking her head in the sand about it until Draco finds out via his magical Malfoy family tapestry family-tree thingy. It's like twelve-ish chapters from there of them figuring out what to do, how to co-parent, and finally the delivery, with flashbacks of "the night' that led to their current situation intermixed. Each chapter also started out with a pros and cons list which was hilarious, but also the formatting was horrendous to read on my kindle so I didn't enjoy the lists as much as I probably would have otherwise.
This read left me furious, from the beginning when they let us know that Hermione kept a pregnancy a secret for months I had to know that the rest of the book was going to leave me annoyed.
I found it hard to stay interested in the reading. It was the most anticlimactic romance I have ever read. I didn't really feel any love connection between them, Draco did absolutely nothing in the whole book and she realized she loved him without even having had a conversation with him? ugh no.
I read more about politics and campaigning than the evolution of their relationship, also I didn't like that she is a minister of magic but trusts more in Muggle hospitals? 🙄
I skimmed a lot until the end, even the smut scenes were anticlimactic.
No, nope, no, no. This one was definitely not for me. It took me ages to finish it, and that’s because I would get frustrated and close the app, or because I got bored and couldn’t keep reading. I still finished it because it wasn’t that bad. I also wanted to see Draco as a dad. We got like 2 pages of that. The most infuriating part of this fic were the freaking pros and cons lists. Which is a lot to say for a ff with that name. All in all, not bad but not good at all.
Hermione Granger is crushing her job as the Minister of Magic. There’s only two problems: 1. She’s 6 months pregnant. 2. She hasn’t informed the father yet. None other than her campaign manager, one Draco Malfoy. Nothing could possibly go wrong.
We don’t rate fanfictions in this house because that is hella disrespectful to these authors that write for free in their free time. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk
As much as I adored the idea of Draco and Hermione having a baby, I wasn’t as in love with this one as I’d hoped. It jumped right into her being pregnant and just seemed to fly by. I love the whole enemies vibe that the pair gives off and there was none of that in this book, at all.

It was cute, but the pacing was off, and Draco was very unidimensional. Sort of a Mary Sue. And while I LOVE an emotionally constipated Granger and a pining Draco, her intense emotional immaturity chafed given that she was at such a mature place in her life.
Good idea with moments of sweet, but ultimately the author didn’t pull it off.
This was just 47866 words, so really not that long, but it dragged out quite a bit, in my opinion. It was interesting, as unplanned pregnancies stories go, but I didn't really feel much of a connection between Draco and Hermione.
2.5 🌟Nice fic, not much to it. D & H were sweet and minister Hermione was good and the dynamic of Draco as her fiancé and colleague worked well. Hardly any dialogue between D & H especially in terms of romance which made it quite a strange progression.
I’ve gotten so used to reading FF with a snarky Ginny. I wish she had a bigger part but I still really enjoyed this one. Hoped for a bit more banter but the ending was so sickeningly cute that i can’t complain
3.75 rounded up. A very patient Draco. A fun idea to have the pro and con lists. Took Hermione awhile to come around, but very sweet fic overall. Unique to see Draco supporting her career in that way.

I was recommended this book and it didn’t disappoint. Normally I don’t go for book tropes about pregnancies but I throughly enjoyed this one. It showed a relationship progressing through the constant need to be near each other both in work and in personal lives and it made it feel almost real.
Super good - perfect length and writing is amaazzinnggg. Plot, characterization, pining — all on point. Great fluffy and funny read. Great D characterization - top level.
