Power is everything!

On the ladder of life, those who are at the highest rungs are only the ones who have enough power to carry them thus far. The elite who are abundant with power and money are able to go to places that were otherwise unheard of.

In other words, the weak had no place in this world. Jacob, having known what it was like to be the lowest of the low, knew and understood this full well. And so, he strived to change his way of life. He reinvented himself.

After continuous hurdles as well as the threat of imminent death, Jacob managed to emerge victorious against all odds. He had his past locked in a steel vault and buried six feet under— And now he was back on the playing field, ready to drag the whole world by the neck.

Are you ready to join his adventure and witness his glorious transformation? Fair warning: it's not for the faint of heart.

'To earn is to gain strength. And to gain strength is to dominate'; The Merchant System holds this true.

I highly enjoyed 1st edition of book one but this was just bland and boring as well as felt rushed.

I mean the system that enjoyed and thought was fun was missing hear best got was saying used buy items that's it, the beginning trial was OK but felt rushed & like missing something then fact 2 prominent people killed and it was just shrugged of really that's it.?
Then get to rest that's basically mc going to failing business making deal with them to provide what they need for price, (not counting he supposed be normal 14y old so what's chances any adult taking him seriously extra.) effortlessly succeeds then said business becomes huge success then goes to offer failing store and rinse and repeat. At one store they was in trouble with load shark how did mc fix this was any troubles don't know never menchaned just did.

This book was a huge disappointment there was no struggle no growth system barely even menchaned huge amount was basically same repeated, and things just way too easy barely covered and honestly was just a boring read that felt rushed and lacking.

Then get to mc himself I found him highly unlikeable hear and bordering Psychopathy he also Just acts don't no off for better words and is missing something. And found him boring.

I know author is better then this as read this on Royal roads when 1st there and can remember enjoying it so what happened hear.?
Will give book 3 a look but that will be deciding factor on if continue this series or not.

Sorry not giving better review.

Great second book

A great second book with lots of unforseen twists and turns. A very great continuation of the series. A very fun read and a must read for existing fans and those who are looking for something new. A great book I look forward to many more

Lost 2 stars for NOT writing a Recap.

I think every reader needs to start doing this to force authors to write a quick Recap chapter, which readers can skip if they remember, and those who don't won't stop reading the series.
