Bound to the Fae

Saved by Wolves

Rate this book
My fated mate rejected me... and I tried to murder the woman he loves.

When my fated mate turned his back on me, my pain pushed me to a desperate act of violence. Years later, I'm left with only shame, a bond that's faded to nothing, and the disdain of the raven shifter flock I was meant to rule.

All I want is a chance at a new life. So I fly from my wintery home to the realm of the wolf-shifting summer fae, where no one will recognize my name.

I never expect a random attack to bring three pack-less wolves racing to my rescue. Determined to protect and pamper me, they won't let me out of their sight.

But even as my saviors' fierce ways wear down the walls around my heart, I can't give in to hope. If they knew what I've done, they'd never look at me with affection again.

Then I stumble on a chance to make amends for my past crimes—by putting everything I still care about on the line. Can a woman who played the villain earn the love of three heroic men, or will this gamble bring my final downfall?

*Saved by Wolves is a standalone fantasy romance with a rejected heroine and three hot wolf-shifter fae men who help heal her wounds, set in the Bound to the Fae world.*

I will read anything in this world. 💖💖💖💖💖

If you've read the main series, Cara is an antagonist. And yet even she gets her HEA, because she repents -- this book is her redemption arc. This is a simpler, faster-paced story compared to the nine-book main series, obviously, but I immediately fell in love with all of the characters. And it was great to see some of the MCs from the main series, too, of course! Loved it.

If you loved Wolves of Summer, Ravens of Winter, and Rats of Murk then you should definitely pick this one up as soon as you're done!

I was sucked in by the pretty cover of the book… this was ok, not terrible, not awesome, just ok. And every so often we need an ok book to balance us out.

Kara with her three wolves dabble in some shared activities, some that might make you blush if spice isn’t your thing. Sadly for me this just fell a bit flat.

Audiobook Review;
A Soul-Stirring Tale of Redemption and Second Chances
Rejection is a bitter pill, but doing the right thing can be even harder. This story is a beautiful exploration of what happens when we face the consequences of our past and strive for a better future. Ten years after her time as a villain, we reconnect with Kara as she finishes her sentence and attempts to make amends for the damage she once caused.
Leaving her home to escape a reputation that follows her everywhere, Kara finds herself exactly where she was meant to be. I loved the "second chance" theme here—it’s a powerful reminder that we aren't defined by our worst mistakes. When she meets Brice, Ronan, and Nyle—three wolves living in isolation—the chemistry is immediate. Ronan’s backstory, in particular, is absolutely soul-crushing, making their eventual HEA feel even more earned.
Why you should listen:
The Redemption Arc: Seeing a former villain risk everything to stand up to new threats is incredibly satisfying.
Faith & Trust: These themes are the cornerstone of the series, and they shine as Kara learns to trust her men and herself.
The Romance: In addition to a fast-paced plot, there is plenty of steam and heart to wrap it all up.
Standalone or Series: You can enjoy this fully without prior context, though seeing Talia and her guys is a wonderful bonus for long-time fans.
This was a really enjoyable listen that left me wanting to dive back into the rest of the series. If you aren't ready to leave the Mists, this is the perfect way to return to that world. Just be prepared—once you get a taste of these characters, you’ll want to binge the whole series!

If you have read the previous books in this series, you may remember Kara who would have been Corwin's soul-twined mate if not for machinations of the Murk king. She made a deal with a Seelie lord to turn Talia over to the Murk during the time the Seelie and Unseelie were engaging them in battles for the fae lands. She was restricted to her family's domain for ten years for her part in the conspiracy and is just now allowed to travel, as long as she does not approach the domains of the arch-lords. Wanting to escape the Unseelie lands, where she is easily recognized, she decides to travel through the Seelie or Summer side.

Kara has been traveling from place to place and staying with different groups for a few days at a time when she is hit by a spell which knocks her from the sky. She awakens to the sight of three Seelie hovering over her. Brice, Ronan, and Nyle have their own small village and insist she stay with them while she heals. She finds that she likes these three wolfish men and wants to know more about them. Why are they here with only each other? What forced them from their homes? She really has no right to ask for their story when she doesn't want to tell her own.

Kara is going to get herself involved with something dangerous that just might come back to bite her. Fortunately, her men have her back. So will that be enough?

Loved this book. It was nice to catch up with Talia, her men, and what is happening in the Fae lands. Hope we get more. I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

You can never go wrong with Eva Chase!
So naturally, I had to give this a listen …

Written in first-person POV,
Past tense.

As usual with Chase’s reads, this drew me in right away and features some pretty epic, complex world-building. I enjoyed all the lure for this world very much, getting to know it. And especially appreciated the way the author used ‘showing’ to get much of it across—it made it so immersive.

Fantasy—set in fae realms.
RH and group scenes.
Inexperienced FMC.
Small ‘town’ (fae village).
Seelie and unseelie fae.
Shifters.
Rejected mates.
Fresh starts.
Conspiracy.

Overall:
This packs lots of relatable healing and made me think—might even lead to me growing. There’s nothing to dislike here—and what brilliant writing. So well done. 4.5 stars.

I’ll be needing to read on—another addictive series from Eva Chase.

Rejection is hard to take, doing right is even harder.
This is a wonderful story, a full length and stand alone read. It is so great to read about Kara 10 years later. I like that this was a completely independent story for Kara, even though we did get to catch up with Talia and her guys. No need to read any other stories to fully enjoy this book.
Wanting to make amends for the damage she did before, Kara desperately wants to stand up to the villains instead of acting like one. The way Kara stuck her neck out was a surefire recipe for disaster, but with the three guys to help and trust her along the way, there was a wonderful HEA. In addition to the plot Kara is determined to foil, there is romance, and steam to wrap it all up. A really enjoyable read. I received this book for free and voluntarily reviewed.

Saved by Wolves takes place after the events of A Bound to the Fae series, but could be enjoyed without having read the other series. I will say to be prepared to wanting to go back and read the rest of the series after getting a taste of this world.

I loved the idea of getting a second chance and the opportunity for redemption. We are not always proud of the choices we have made and having that follow you forever is hard. Kara leaves her home for just this reason. I loved how it put her exactly where she was meant to be. Faith and trust are a cornerstone of this series, and it stretches into this story as well.

Learning their secrets made me love these characters even more. I would love any excuse to return this world again.

I received an advanced copy of this story and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

A fun and exciting story where the villain gets a second chance at righting the wrong and finding love!

The story features Kara, the villain from the main series, but fast-forward to 10 years later when she finishes her sentence. By accident, she meets Brice, Ronan, and Nyle, wolves who live in isolation. Together, they will get to know each other’s past and ultimately work as a team to right the wrong.

Those still reluctant to leave the Mists, a fae world created by Eva, will find satisfaction in reading this companion novella. This book needs to be read after you have completed the series, or else you will get some spoilers. But, if you are not planning to read the series, you may go ahead.

A well written story where the villain gets a second chance at hope and love! With an exciting storyline to draw you in and where we meet Kara who in desperation committed a terrible crime or tried to but has served her time and is now free. Leaving all that she knows behind so that she can start a new but of course trouble always follows a villain and she finds herself knocked out of the sky and at the mercy of three wolves. It’s a great read that I thoroughly enjoyed and was full of adventure, entertainment, twists and turns and a few surprises, some steam and a whole lotta romance and I’m happy our ‘villain’ got what she deserved.

Kara gets her own staring role in this fun story. She has paid her sentence and decides to travel where no one will know her name and what she had done. But of course things do not go smoothly and thus begins a fun story. She meets 3 hot guys and the adventure continues. Enjoyed the story and watching Kara become a good guy and her interactions between her and the guys were fun to watch. Enjoyed returning to this series universe.

Wow! So nice to catch up with Lady Kara and find out what happened after the events of the Bound To The Fae Series. The unusual cast of characters all have something in common, pasts they want to forget. Thrown together by fate and drawn together by feelings none of them expected, they soon find themselves embroiled in a conspiracy that no one suspects. This adventurous stand-alone tale is well written and highly entertaining.

I wasn’t sure how I was going too like Kara but everyone deserves a second chance. Kara knows what she did was horrible and now wants too move on with her life. Kara finds herself in trouble and Ronan, Brice and Nyle save her. From that moment you can tell that they were going too have a connection. I really did enjoy this story and glad Kara and her men get the ending that they deserve.

Dull Read

Normally I love Eva Chase, but this book is just boring. If you haven’t read whatever book is referenced (and there’s a LOT of references), you’ll have no clue what’s going on.

This is a good multi POV story with a cast of narrators to match. I like the fact she's able to atone for a mistake made in the throws of heartbreak. Kara also finds I think truer loves in Ronan, Bryce and Nile.

Saved by The Wolves
By Evs Chase

Archangel Lord Corvin and Lady Talia are who Kara finds impossible to forgive.
Archangel Corvin created a soul bond with someone who was not his fated, yes he believed Lady Talia was the only person he could ever love and want, but within his own personal selfish endeavours he never once contemplated what his fated love may feel by being rejected so openly.
As far as Kara is concerned they are both at fault, but she believes most of the fault lies with Lady Talia, she her partner and she were not fated, along with only being human she seems to only look at the passion they felt, Kara also believes that even Lord Corvin has deluded himself by ignoring the natural bond that was created the moment Kara turned 18, now her life has been destroyed by these two selfish people and because Lord Corvin held a position of power, he would not have to serve any of the sentences anyone else would in this situation and he certainly didn’t show any remorse or care for the horrible heartbreak Kara was experiencing. The fates had deemed Corvin and Kara perfect mates but Corvin didn’t wait and fell deeply in love with Lady Talia, so Kara just has to put it up and deal with the horror and pain of her heartbreak.
Well it’s now 10 years later and Kara has finally finished her sentence, for a number of years after Corvin rejected her Kora hated Lady Talia and did everything she could to try and make Lady Talia's life a living hell but basically Kara ended up suffering even deeper.
So Kara finds Corvin and Lady Talia are causing her far to much pain so she decides to take a trip far enough away so she didn’t have to suffer any more humiliation.
Along the way Kara is accidentally hit by a projectile and is knocked out
waking up she finds herself sore but extremely safe and comfortable the men who found her were taking exceptional care of her, and finds herself in a warm bed.
Ronan was stunned when he found this gorgeous young woman bleeding on his property so he did everything he could to help Kara and before long Kara finds herself helping wherever she could.
As their friendship grows between the
four of them they understand each suffered some type of severe injustice within their lives so a very strong protective bond forms between them all.
These men were closer than brothers and realised that each one if them had slowly been falling deeply for Kara but they all refused to put any pressure on her, understooding that if they were open and honest with her they could have a wonderful loving relationship between the four of them but they wanted to ensure Kara got to be loved and treated the way she deserved to be treated so they took extra steps and precautions to show her what she meant to each of them.
With Kara being the centre of their lives they know they will always give back their love and acceptance to Kara for who she is guaranteeing Kara knows she will always be centre of their lives surrounded by their love and devotion.
This is a +18 novel.
