Hot tales for chilly, autumn nights, Carnal Court is a one-handed read that will warm your bones and make all your special places tingle in delight.
This was great paranormal erotica with four short stories featuring supernatural beings—a warlock, a werewolf, a vamp, and a demon—summoned to the Carnal Court to be given their fated mates and consummate the bond under the blood moon.
The downside is the last two stories, the vamp and the demon, both have continuity errors as well as botched editing. The vamp stops mid-sentence then just continues on in the next paragraph with a different moment. Could never figure out if it fit elsewhere in the narrative. Similar with the demon story.
It’s really frustrating to spend time reading a book and the author not taking the time to proof it. I don’t mind minor errors but these are major. Which is a shame because these are great dark, paranormal erotica tales that I really wanted to recommend.
Between the ridiculous euphemisms, terrible grammar and spelling (soles instead of souls lmao) and the use of almost every stupid bodice-ripper trope known to man I never stopped laughing. I wasn't expecting to be so entertained.
