Until Him

Rate this book
If there’s one thing I’ve learned this year at college, it’s that things aren’t always what they seem.
I’m Logan Lewis. I’m popular, charming, athletic, and all the girls love me. Yep, I’ve really got it made.
But when I find myself in danger of failing my chemistry class and losing my sports scholarship, I know the only person who can save me is the smartest science tutor on campus.

Theo Reign is brilliant. He’s also cold and antisocial, moody and mean. He looks at me like he hates me, but touches me like he wants me. There’s something just beneath the surface that draws me in. His secret pain mirrors my own, and I suddenly find myself craving him. I can’t get enough of this mysterious and intriguing man, and though I know what we’re doing is weird and probably toxic, I just can’t seem to let him go.
I never thought I would want another man.
Until him.

Until Him is a steamy M/M college romance with heart, soul, lots of laughs, and of course, cuddling.

This premise was pretty nasty and non-consensual. Theo basically blackmails Logan into having sex with him in return for tutoring sessions Logan desperately needs. And when they actually get to all their manipulated sexual deeds, Theo is harsh and cold; it gave me the creeps.
Luckily, though, this was mostly only a problem in the first half of the book, but still.. They definitely had a very rocky start, which made it difficult for me to get into the romance.

Nonetheless, I did think that this book got a little better over time and the characters became a little less annoying, but I still can’t say I ever became a big fan. My feelings on this book went from “ew” to “mwah” and eventually even ended on “mhm”, but I never actually got to a point of love or genuine investment. I ended up feeling ambivalent towards the whole thing, which isn’t awful but definitely isn’t great either.

This relationship actually reminded me a lot of Luke and Elliot (from Cora’s previous book), which is not a good thing in my opinion. Their dynamic was very similar with Logan just following Theo around like a brainless puppy, willing to do everything for him, while Theo is not giving him anything other than the cold shoulder or the occasional cruel words. It pissed me off a lot and also made it very hard for me ship these two.
However, I do have to admit that Logan was never quite as stupid as Luke, and Theo was never quite as mean as Elliot, but still… Logan needed to learn some self-respect, while Theo genuinely needed to grow up and just get a grip. It was embarrassing for both of them.

I think the best part about this whole book was the excitement I felt for Landon and Finn’s relationship. Their dynamic was so lovely and so cute, and I have to say I am very much looking forward to reading their story in the next book!
However, if their book turns out to be a disappointment as well, then I think I might actually be done with this author for a while. As it is now, I still have faith and am hoping that some of her books just need a better premise with better characters. After all, I know she can get it right; she’s done it before with other books. Fingers crossed!

Recommendation: If you read this author's previous series and were a huge fan of Whit and Luke, then I think you might love this book, because there are many similarities with those two stories. However, if you are more like me, and only really loved Sem and/or Emery, then I think this book will most likely be a bust for you too.

Theo insisting Logan pay for tutoring by performing sexual favors was the first problem. (I don't care how you spin it, that's never, ever okay.)

Theo being a Whit double (silent, sullen, cruel) was the second.

But there were many others: no real setting (Logan played water polo once; we never saw Whit in class or studying, even though he's working on his doctorate); Logan's family all getting high together (wtf was that?); limited secondary characters (the MCs spend 80% of the story fighting and fucking in Theo's apartment).

Theo's supposed tutoring prowess (he's a legend, the best tutor ever!) is a farce. Great teachers have strong interpersonal skills, something Theo sorely lacks.

Theo's dad always treated him like shit but wants to make amends because he (the dad) is dying. He doesn't even apologize (at least on page).

Theo is wounded and bitter because daddy was an asshole, but this seemingly crucial plot development gets almost no page time.

Likewise, Logan feels responsible for a car accident that caused his brother to lose his leg, so he's been avoiding his brother. The brothers finally have a two-minute conversation, and all is well with the world. Don't you wish life were that easy?

Even the epilogue is disappointing (short and abrupt).

I could go on, but I'll spare you.

Extra star for Curie the cat who was the standout in this lackluster story.

*** I reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.***

Theo and Logan are one of the best grumpy/sunshine couples I have ever read. They have insane chemistry and their relationship is a great slow burn that is so well done. Until Him is another winning story by this author who is the Queen of grumpy/sunshine romances and this is another great addition.

Until Him focuses on water polo athlete Logan, who is struggling in his science class and to remain eligible to play must improve his GPA. He seeks out Theo, who is a recommend tutor. Theo is instantly reviled by Logan's attempt at asking for his tutoring service and for a compromise Theo will tutor Logan only if he agrees to sexual favors.

Logan surprisingly agrees and then begins a slow-moving romance between two completely opposite men, who are both struggling with many emotional things from their past.

Overall I was so surprised at the depth of this story. Logan and Theo are so much more than what they appear to be, so when things get more complicated and feelings become much more intense, the romance is wonderfully developed.

Until Him is another stand out by Cora Rose who does a great job with focusing on two central characters and really diving deep into their psyche, while they unknowingly fall for another. Cannot wait for Landon and Finn's story!!!

I feel like if you've read one Cora Rose book, you've read them all?? I got dejavu this whole read.

Jock/Nerd dynamic but the nerd is the asshat.
The sexual coercion in the beginning is kinda whack, but I wanted stupid horny, and I got stupid horny.

I'll give it 4 stars, because I knew what I was in for.
Alot of sex, not much else, men kissing.
A+ for all those elements.

But minus 1 star for an MC thinking something about touching his boyfriend's dick in front of his own dad and brother, and also for saying something SUPER WEIRD ABOUT BUILDING A TINY DIVING BOARD TO DIVE INTO BELLY BUTTON JIZZ....... I can't remember the exact wording, but it's a no from me Gary.

initial reaction: screaming crying throwing up

damn, my reaction didn’t age well.

this started awful. the sex coercion left me speechless. not fun. cora tried to make it bearable by saying that logan started enjoying it but i was still uncomfortable.
theo was completely unlikable at the beginning, i started appreciating him and even emphasizing with him at the end, when i got to know him, but it was around 60% which is definitely too late for me.
i can’t despise him for the majority of the book, just because i didn’t know him and i can’t get past the sex coercion. it’s completely different with what she did with sem, because there it was a dare and magnus could back off if he wanted to.
logan literally says that he has no other option than agree to theo’s terms. like what the fuck.

also, it really bugged me that halfway through the book we basically forget about logan playing water polo, the most important thing to him. we literally assist to one match. i’m sorry but that’s just bad writing.

i know that i changed my rating three times, but i enjoyed the last 35% so i decided to give this 3 stars, but then i realized that i just can’t get past the sex thing.
this is not a dark romance and you need to add a trigger warning because logan feels like he can’t say no because he’ll loose everything. that is not okay.

Fuck. I don’t want to be his friend.
I want to be his everything.

I love stories which shows how self destructive and miserable a person is in their own skin and then someone comes along, and fucking stays no matter what ever the person does to push them away, to disgust the other from themselves, and then be like: BAM BITCH, ILL SHOW U WHO U REALLY ARE

It's the best thing I've ever known in the romance genre, that's why I can't do healthy shit cus that is not realistic in my opinion (lmaoooo, I know I need help)

He’s been quiet since we left the greenhouse earlier and went back inside, overthinking shit as usual. Maybe that’s what happens when you’re ridiculously smart. You just analyze things to death.

I love Theo and I love Logan, so much for how much he didn't loose his hope and dreams and longing for Theo. Because no matter how "badly" Theo acted, Theo needed Logan so much, every last time he lashed out.

all fade to white noise when Theo reaches out and links his pinkie with mine.
Fuck, he’s sweet in his own way. He reminds me of a cold wild animal that snaps at you when you try to pet it, but really, it just wants you to curl up with it and keep it warm.

I read Learning Curve last week and don't mind me being bitter as fuck with how this quote is my one big FUCK U to that one character in that book.
Is that why you didn’t want to hang out with my friends? You think you’re better than all of us because you’re smarter?”

And I also appreciate how there (FINALLY) is NO 3rd Act CONFLICT!!!

me right now while standing: 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

(But I still think whit and Caleb are the best thing to grace our lives)

Funny, sad and tearful, with a huge helping of extraordinary love.

“Fuck. I’m not leaving, and you’re spending motherfucking Christmas with me. And the new year. And next Christmas, too. And the rest of our time on earth, really.” 🤧🤧🤧

The book is full of insecurities and hugs, a wonderful build up for the relationship between Logan and Theo, interesting sexual encounters, and heartbreaking coming to terms with the past.
So a typical Cora Rose, even though it wasn't planned to write or publish this story.
Compared to the other books, it has some similarities to Whit. That's probably why it took me a little longer and I didn't inhale the book right away. It is nevertheless a wonderful fluffy story. And by God I swear I love Logan's parents, I wish I had a set of those too. 😍😍😍

BR with my girl Cass, at this point we’re not allowed to read one of her books but together.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

This reminds me of Just a Bit Twisted by Alessandra Hazard but at least Professor Rutledge showed some form of affection.

I love a good dub-con, even non-con but this is just awkward and uncomfortable. Theo has to be an android, he has zero emotions.

And then Theo got sick and everything changed for the better.

As always Cora gave me grumpy/sunshine, misunderstandings thanks to lack of communication and lots and lots of cuddling.

Also, another family to absolutely adore! Logan’s hippie parents are everything, I wish they were my mom and dad.

Plus Curie, Finn and Landon were the perfect addition to a nearly perfect tale. I am very much looking forward to Finn and Landon’s book because there’s way more than meets the eye with those two.

I un-DNF'd this, and I'm so glad I did because it got so much better! The last half of this book is 4.5/5 star material. It got even got me emotional at points. Logan and Theo really won me over on their relationship.

It's just the first 36% I really didn't enjoy or vibe with.

I had this borrowed on kindle unlimited since oct 2022, I finally got around to it haha

Logan is the college jock. He is in jeopardy of being benched because of his grades. His coach refers him to Theo for tutoring. Theo, the grumpy chemistry major. Instantly tells him no. After Logan offers him money, Theo counter-offers him tutoring for sexual favors. I won't lie. My inner smut was jumping up and down with excitement

The dynamic between the two is steamy and whimsical, with just enough push/ pull. I also couldn't help but laugh a few dozen times. Another fantastic story from the author.

This book is hard for me to rate - while I liked the overall story and I really liked Logan, Theo was just way too mean, distant, and cold in the beginning. I did not like him at all, and it really took a while before I started to warm up to him. I think this book would have benefited from having a chapter from Theo's POV earlier - when he finally gets a POV chapter and you begin to understand him more, it is easier to empathize with him, but this doesn't happen until a ways in. Even towards the end, I wish we got more from Theo, it really could have been a good story.

Very enjoyable new book by this lovely author.

I was worried at first, as Theo was very stand-offish, cold and reserved, and came off as mean and harsh with Landon, but as we got to know him more, and got to see these two fall more and more in love, and we got to see Theo open up more and let down his walls, I found I needn't have worried.

I enjoyed these two together a lot, and the steam was really good.

As Landon, the star water polo player at their college, is need of a tutor for chemistry and fast, he goes to the guy people say is the best of the best, Theo Reign.

Theo tries to refuse Landon at first, but Landon needs the help desperately if he wants to pass his class and stay on the water polo team, so he tries to negotiate with Theo, who doesn't want his money or anything, except...sex in exchange for tutor help.

Theo throws it out thinking Landon will never accept, but then he does, and Theo has some issues from past relationships that makes him want to have control over Landon, who is a jock and on the surface, seems like the kind of guy who has hurt Theo in the past.

What starts out as just as transaction, as Theo is determined not to let anyone in again, and Landon thought he was straight until Theo, quickly turns into more with more time spent together.

I enjoyed these two together immensely, and as the book went on, Theo opened up a lot and showed his vulnerable side and I came to love his character as well. Landon, I loved from the start. He's just this ray of sunshine who is so so kind. Theo just has a hard time trusting after what he's gone through in the past, and tries to push Landon away at every turn. But Landon isn't having it, and he persists.

I definitely recommend this, it was definitely enjoyable overall and a definite return to form for this lovely author, in my opinion.

Also, I'm happy that we're getting a book about Landon - Logan's brother - and Finn, the brothers' best friend. He and Landon were definitely touchy feely and very close and I can't wait to read their story.

For a book written while this author had writer's block for another book, this was so well written. A definite win.

Definitely check it out if you enjoy this author. Can't wait to read what's next from Cora Rose! 😊😍

A book that feels like a mix of characters and plot lines I’ve already read about.

In fact, it reminded me a lot of Whit - we have THE JOCK, Logan. He’s in the water polo team, and he desperately needs a tutor to help him improve his grades. He’s good natured, sunny, and everything positive there is out there. Then there’s Theo, THE NERD, who loathes jocks, because some of them were really mean to him in the past. When Logan comes to him, asking for help, he insists on being “paid” with sex.

Yeah I know. What a lovely guy 🙄

To his surprise, Logan agrees, and despite the fact that he’s only been with women so far, he finds himself attached to grumpy and closed-off Theo. Why exactly is a mystery- not only to Theo, who spends 95% of the book in a “he’s too good for me” state of mind (and yes, I agree, Logan is definitely too good for Theo ) and pushes Logan away for what feels like 6326 times.

By the 5th time, I wouldn’t have blamed Logan if he’d left. Sadly, he kept coming back to Theo again and again, and by 95%, he finally chipped away Theo’s armour.

Why 3 stars and not less? Well, because I loved Logan, he’s such a GOOD person without being a doormat, that I can’t rate him with less. On top of that, I listened to the audio narrated by Iggy Toma and Nick J. Russo, two of my favourite narrators out there. And they made the book better, even Theo 😅

Not sure if I’ll read the next book about Logan’s brother, but I’ll put it on my tbr.

Until Him was such a happy surprise by Cora Rose! I had to pause everything to read it (this is a habit that's starting to happen with their works). It was a delightful and emotional college nerd/jock love story. Both Theo and Logan are dealing with trauma and guilt. Theo, however, has felt unwanted, betrayed and hurt by the people in his life - people who resemble Logan. Thus, when we meet him, he has a cold, icy, harsh exterior to protect himself. I love how Logan sees past his harsh words and actions - while at the same time not letting him totally get away with it. Yes, you are hurt, but there is no reason to be so cruel to someone who does their best to hear and understand you. Logan's endless sunshine, confidence and optimism are exactly what Theo needed to pull himself up slowly. I love the bi-awakening aspect as well for Logan. The character growth was beautiful as well. Logan, plagued by guilt from his brother's accident, finally, with a little push, is able to face him. I also came to adore Logan's brother Landon and their best friend Finn. I hope we will get their story as well.

Overall it was a fun, sweet college nerd/popular jock romance read! If you love Cora's storytelling, nerd/jock college pairings, with a sprinkle of bi-awakening love story, this is it.

The beginning was like the plot of a bad porno: gay nerd asks straight jock for sexual favours in exchange for tutoring sessions.

Lots of sex. So much sex.

But it was also surprisingly sweet and cute and wholesome. My first read by this author and it was a fun surprise!

“Someone I loved once gave me a box full of darkness. It took me years to understand that this too, was a gift.”

4.25 ⭐

I find myself reading another book where their relationship starts on the most wacky conditions or in the weirdest ways possible. Something outlandish like idk, fuck me and Ill tutor you, for every tutor session I get dicked down. Thats crazy buddy. But anyways here we are and thats what this book is about. This is the Jock x Nerd trope, but maybe only in Theo's head because the boy is damaged and he has been bullied so bad he cant see how great he is and how good of a person Logan actually is. Logan is a sweet big old golden retriever jock who doesnt think good of himself but just wants to play water polo so he is desperate, so fucking a guy who is pretty good looking cant be so bad right? Exactly. Anyways you get where this is going. This book isnt some new rewrite of this trope which is fine, we are on a straight line to HEA and I am here for it. Idont need a lot of twists and turns. This book gave us good characters, with a little drama, and some heart and thats all I can ask for. I think Logan and his brother were raised by two really cool hippies and turned otu to be pretty cool understanding feeling dudes which is awesome. Theo is a product of his surroundings and is chilly because of shit that has happened to him, and I understand that even if I wanted to choke him out in the beginning cause Logan is a nice boy. Finn on the other hand made me want to knock him upside the head. Bro needs to back the fuck up, and we get youre like super duper in love with his brother but like bro take a chill pill cause he really wastn being a good friend to Logan imo. Anyways, I am glad I didnt listen to part of hte reviews were they said some seedy shit went down because to me I dont see it. Sexual coercion. Nah, its really not. Logan could of walked away he wasnt being forced to do anything, and he even says it. It was a just a shitty situation to be honest but I believe Logan is smart enough with enough brain cells to weight his options. No one forced him into doing anything in my opinion. Especially Theo didnt make him actually do anything, he gave instruction and what he wanted to do, and Logan said okay. So yeah, nothing seedy to me.

I couldn't take this book seriously. I laughed from start to finish, and fuck, there's even a terminally ill father in the middle of it. 🤌

I mean:

"You should be a professor," I blurt, and Theo eyes me.
"I'm going to be a pharmacologist."
My eyebrows meet. "Oh." Don't know what the fuck that is. I think it's kind of like a drug dealer, but fancier.

WTF? 😂

A light-hearted, flowing grumpy-sunshine with a himbo jock who needs a tutor to pass his chemistry exam. This is the first book I've read by Cora Rose, and honestly after the heavy reads during the last week it was just what I needed, a predictable light story.

Chef’s kiss to Nick J Russo. Amazing narrator! 📖🎧🔥

I didn’t hate it, but I’m deducting points because the sex coercion was wack and there was never a true declaration of love and that’s literally the best part of a romance. I mean it’s mentioned that they said it in the epilogue, but I didn’t get to experience it. Sad face

This also reminded me a lot of Whit and Caleb. Theo was just as awful as I thought Whit was. He gets snuggly at the end, but he was too mean to sweet Logan. He had his reasons and blah blah whatever. Still wasn’t a fan.

5/5 audio

A mostly lighthearted & sometimes very funny love story. Their “arrangement” starts pretty quickly this book doesn’t waste any time so it you’re looking for something short and low angst this would be one for you. Theo self sabotaging was annoying though.

Himbo x nerdy boy

I listened to the audio and it was a great easy listen. Will definitely continue the authors other books in audio format.

Im looking forward to book 2

Excuse me while I go throw up.

I just read the first chapter, and (1) tutors are normally decent people with good social skills and vocabulary, but mostly (2) there was nothing consensual in how it all started -- Theo coerced Logan into having sex with him as payment for tutoring him 🤢

My stomach is so upset now; no matter how you play it, this is disgusting.
Theo: “So—” he stops me mid-sentence, “you need help with pretty much everything,” he mutters, running a hand through his hair. “I should have known. You better be really good with your mouth.”

Curie 🐈‍⬛ was the only interesting character (and it's just horrible that Marie was even included in any way in such a book). I do not care if other characters appear in the book after; I am NOT going past the first chapter, and, dear Cora Rose, I am never picking up another book you wrote.

Theo + Logan 🖤
Jock and Nerd | Tutoring | Humor | Found family | Healing

“I want you to talk about covalent bonds when you’re fucking me.”

A jock in need of tutoring and a nerd who tries to run him off by asking for something outlandish as payment.

....

"Why does he keep staring at me? I don’t think he’s checking me out, either. I think he’s probably measuring my skin for lampshades. Maybe he’ll cook up my ass and eat it with a side of broccolini."

“Come on. Jack me off. I have shit to do after this.”

"I’m a crybaby, with muscles."

“There is no such thing as a demonic squirrel.”
“You’re not a biology major. You don’t know that.”

“God, look at you,” he says, leaning down to taste my mouth again. “Look at how hot you are.” No man has ever said that about me, but Logan says it like he truly means it. He’s slowly stitching my heart back together with his words.

“Didn’t know I’d like dick as much as I do, but I’m so here for yours.”

"Who knew that when he showed up at my door all those months ago that this was how it would all turn out? Who knew he’d be the one to help me heal? Who knew he’d be the perfect person for me? Not me. It was never me, until him."

Once you get past the icky start and how Theo blackmails Logan into sex for tutoring, the book becomes mostly fine. It's not one of Cora Rose's best by any means, but it was okay. It took a loooooong time for me to even kind of like Theo, and in the end, he was just okay. Lots of "just okay" in this book, if I'm being honest 😂 Logan was a sweetheart though, and it was impossible not to like him and his family ☺️

I just finished this book two days ago, and I'm already forgetting most of the plot, probably because it was all over the place. Logan dealing with the accident and his brother, Theo dealing with how he was treated by other guys in the past, and then for some random reason at the end, Theo's estranged dad shows up and wants to make amends because he's terminally ill 🤷🏼‍♀️ Sure, wtf I guess 🤣 The way that was handled was so bad. I have no idea what the point even was. If you're going to have a plot point like that, you need to make it meaningful and relevant to the story. The entire thing with Theo's dad made no sense. It was just like something to throw in there 🙄

Aside from the nonsense, the story had some cute parts and at least Theo slightly redeemed himself with his self-aware rant about how he had treated Logan. It still didn't justify his behavior, but at least he realized he had been an asshat and apologized so that's something 🙃

Unfortunately, the spice in this was also kind of meh and didn't even remotely make up for the rest of the mess. I guess the brightest spot was the audio was enjoyable enough and free on Audible Plus 😆

What is with me picking up books with back and forth, I want you but go away but don’t go away bullshit… all I have to say is it was a better version of “Hidden Scars” lol!! This had the same push pull vibes that got old kinda fast haha

I wished we had some more background on the characters, it felt very surface level for all characters and I didn’t 100% connect with them. It was cute for what it was but I don’t think I am down to read any more of this series haha

4 "will tutor for anal" stars😂

First of all, lemme just say that chemistry is the gayest science of them all and it can fuck right off (this is specifically aimed at those gaddamn titration labs😒)

Secondly, these two are idiots and if this ever happened to me someone would be nursing a very strategic and painful kick in the balls, seriously Theo🚩🚩🚩

Fuck, I hate this part of meeting people—those initial snap judgments we make about one another. How wrong they usually are.
Case in point—Logan Lewis.

Third, the beginning of this was like a manhwa but in book form😉 I can just picture the art and everything!

What we’re doing is a little fucked up. I can admit that. But I’m not really complaining, either. I don’t mind a little weirdness in my life—makes things interesting.

Pfft. No shit, Logan😂

Fourth, this read very much like an alternate universe of Whit😂 Cora said she wrote this to help with her writer's block and I did start to look at this as Whit fan fiction but by the end I was pretty convinced that these two were their own Cora brand characters!

Lastly, I'm still very much a fan of her golden retriever characters and Logan was no different💖 I'm just waiting for Finn and Landon's book now🙂

thanks Kari @indiauthorcreative for the ARC of Until Him
this is my honest opinion:

Thank you writers-block for gifting us Logan and Theo;
It took them less than five minutes to steal my heart.

If there's something Cora Rose can beautifully portrait,
it's those super sunshine dude-bros with depth and ice-king-grumps with a melting heart!

I quote:
-Sexuality is a squiggly line, right?-
Awakenings are my kryptonite, mix them with some amount of (un)healthy relationship development, a bit of obsession and super lovable characters and you have a winner.

I loved that this came with a bit more angst, new awesome and super sweet side characters, wholesome story-telling, spice and sweet, sweet comfort.

The epilogue almost got me crying, my heart was so mush!

This was such a binger for me, I intentionally put it down at 85% to prolong my time with them.
BC I wasn't ready to go yet...I can't wait to read the next story (whatever/whenever that might be, I can be patient-ish)

I said it before, I'll say it again: Cora Rose is an insta-buy author for me.
It's no secret that she tickles my funny and my smutty bones in the right way (hehe)

Honorary Mention: Basil - I want one for myself

Re-read February 2025 ~ I needed some Cora Rose craziness today.

⭐️ 4 stars ⭐️

TROPES:
❣︎ Jock vs nerd
❣︎ Queer awakening
❣︎ Golden retriever vs black cat
❣︎ Hurt/comfort

“I’ll agree to tutor you if you let me fuck you.”

A weirdly sweet story given the equally weird premise. I’m just a sucker for hurt prickly boy and golden retriever sunshine boy pairings.

“I know what you’re doing,” Theo mutters, totally onto me, as I link my hand with his. “It’s the gravitational pull. That guy says so. My hand can’t help itself. It’s drawn to you.”

Just as cute and fun as I remembered. Loved the spice, Logan’s family, Theo’s walls slowly falling down. And, of course, Curie. I love a baby kitty 🐈‍⬛.
A cheesy and comforting story where I didn’t have to think for a while, so a win for sure.

He’s slowly stitching my heart back together with his words.

I have to stop going into books without reading the premise because having the start of their relationship be that one of them is asking for payment for tutoring the other in the form of sexual activities is disgusting. I do not care how much rebranding the author tried to do, it's gross.

Another thing that pissed me off is having your male character use the word bitch to refer to women just because he's jealous of the women his BISEXUAL partner has been with.

None of the characters felt plausible, god they were all half baked concepts and I wouldn't even mind as much if the story itself was actually good but alas it was so bad.

Lastly I just don't think anyone should be writing about anal sex if they don't care enough to do basic research. I'm all for exaggerating sex scenes and including unrealistic elements but it gets to a point where it begins to come off as willfully ignorant. Nobody is taking a supposedly huge penis up their ass with zero prep omg, and they're also not having anal sex EVERY SINGLE DAY!! PLEASE!!!

I've read two books by this author and I've not liked either one so I'm taking that as a sign that cora rose is not for me.
