His Plug Snatched My Heart
Egypt Marcel is a dedicated and caring nurse who enjoys her job at a children's hospital in Houston. From the outside looking in, you’d think she had it all with an amazing career, fabulous condo, her own cash and vehicle. Truthfully though, her life would be perfect if it wasn’t for her freeloading, disrespectful boyfriend Shareef Thomas. Shareef lacks the drive and ambition that Egypt possesses and is extremely comfortable allowing her to provide for him. All is cool in his eyes, but what he doesn’t know is that Egypt is beyond tired of him.
Working dead-end jobs for a temp agency seems to be as good as Shareef is going to give. Ultimately, she would like nothing more than to be done with Shareef for good, but something keeps stopping her from completely walking away. Despite the fact that Egypt knows her man is using her, she still stays. That is, until a tragedy brings her face to face with the handsome Bacardi Martin. The vibe between the two is almost instant, but her patient is more important than any feelings she seems to have for the father.
However, Bacardi isn’t giving up that easily on Egypt. Although his daughter requires his full attention, he still finds a way to let Egypt know that he’s interested. When she finally gets fed up with Shareef and his trifling ways, Bacardi is right there to lend her a shoulder and a spare room. Once the romantic chemistry between the two is confirmed, there’s no stopping their hearts from yearning for each other. BUT, that also doesn’t stop Shareef from pursuing Egypt.

Good read
I like the way the author put the little disclosure at the beginning because nothing turns me off from a book more than bad grammar (missing & misspelled words). So far my favorite characters are definitely Bacardi & Egypt. I know baby momma drama makes the story line but Bacardi baby momma is getting on my last nerve. I will be so glad when she is put in her place for good. I also have mixed feelings about the whole Ricardo situation. He is definitely not the only person that should face the consequences...Britain is guilty as well. Now Shareef is a sad excuse for a man. I was really invested in the last scene because I want him to get exactly what he deserves. The author knows how to keep you coming back. Patiently waiting on part two.

Now Bacardi he bae all day now he's what Egypt needs a real man not someone using her .. on to part 2 hope to see happy ending..
Oh let me not forget about his baby mama Britain no matter how she tries to spend it he's correct why would you pull your gun no matter how her and Ricardo was arguing about another woman that she knows about so and your daughter there yeah she should have thought more but she was in her feelings and it could've been worse her baby could have died ... I'm looking to see what happens next

A Really Good Read…
Egypt was stuck in a dead end relationship with Shareef who had the audacity to be a leech and a cheater. Meeting Bacardi during a traumatic event involving his daughter turned out to be a blessing in disguise for Egypt the chemistry between those two is off the charts the only downside is all the drama they are going to face with their exes that don’t know how to let go! I can’t wait to see you hat happens in part 2

Must Read
Lady Lissa did her thing. I loved this book from beginning to end! Everything flowed together. Shareef worked my nerves with his nonsense. He was wrong for everything he did and now he has to face the consequences. Better deal with it. Egypt was my girl. She didn’t play. She was a great nurse. Now that Bacardi was everything. He was a sweetheart and didn’t play about his baby girl. I can’t wait to see how things play out in book two!!

This was entertaining and a quick read...
I am looking forward to the next book. The author warned that the words would be different and it was... UT not in such away that you couldn't read.
The story started at page 1 and kept going...we get alot happening but it weaves itself together around a little girl and a nurse...a touch of drama

Typical man!
This short read was easy to follow, flowed well and kept my attention. Shareef was a typical man who had everything going for him but wanted more. Brittain got on my last nerve. I was hoping that Egypt dragged her behind. The man in the book was Bacardi. This man was smooth. He swept Egypt off her feet and took control. This man played no games and I can’t wait to see how his relationship grows with Egypt. That ending has me feigning for book two.

OMG! This was so good. Shareef is such a sorry piece of work. The fact that he expected Egypt to provide for him no matter what was beyond delusional on his part. Britain on the other hand needs to except full responsibility for what happens to Arielle. I don’t have any attachment to Ricardo but for some reason I don’t want Bacardi to kill him because of Britain’s stupidity.

I was on the edge of my seat Bacardi is the truth Egypt did good to move in with him that no good nights she had first he was found in they bed cheating and when they became roommates invited her over only to see her naked ass in some thongs. Arielle seemed like a sweetheart I'm glad they was able to save her and momma is a sorry individual she needs to be put under the jail.

Ricardo better call a meeting with Bacardi and Britain. I wouldn't want to stay with Britain if was Arielle. Egypt and Bacardi isn't going to have no peace because of their ex's.

This well written story is so good. The title of this book definitely describes the story within. With these likeable, interesting characters that I can't get enough of. Even though they are moving fast, they seem to be building a great bond. Between the baby mama and the ex, I don't know which is crazier. I can't wait for more.

Five star read!
Ohhh wee!!!! I know that these are only fictional characters, but does Bacardi have a brother? Lol! This storyline was cute and very entertaining. I enjoyed and recommend this five star read with excellent character development. Looking forward to reading more from this author, especially part 2.
