Miss Hourglass, aka Magpie, has been spying from Debbie’s corner. She’s interested in The Brothers, George and Greg Wilkes, so she can execute a plan that’s been a long time in the making. She wants a big reward for all of her hard work. She can have anything she wants, she’s just got to take it…
There’s another mole on the manor. Simon has been advising Magpie on how to claim The Paignton Estate. Magpie has changed the scheme they’ve devised between them and won’t say what the new route is. He’s left wondering if his position working for The Brothers will be compromised. Will he end up in the Thames?
George and Greg have no idea who Miss Hourglass is, but they’re determined to find her. In the course of their search, they discover someone’s been talking about them, whispering their intimate secrets, and others are selling drugs without permission. George is only too happy to dish out punishments.
A little bird twitters, and The Brothers find out who wants to take them down. With another leader’s help, their faithful friend, Moon, they set out to right the wrongs, and from that moment on, their goal is to return to how they used to be—violent thugs—in order to remind residents that you don’t mess with the twins…

Another brilliant episode of this somewhat entreating series. Not sure I should approve of the justice system used. But it seems justified. Hopefully more to come soon
This book is truly gripping I couldn't put it down. So many twists and turns. Emmy is an amazing writer and this book goes above and beyond what's expected of a great gangland type book.
I just love this series. The brothers think up something new to do too people all the time. It always makes me cringe. But love reading them all the same
