Since this is one of many cookbooks about cupcakes, it needed something to make it stand out from the crowd. I didn't find any really amazing recipes or photos (not unpleasant, just not amazing enough to make me want to buy it). Almost every recipe is supposed to use superfine/berry sugar...which I don't have. Also many recipes call for self-rising flour. There are many other cupcake recipes that I would rather recommend.
