Explore the four angelic visits surrounding the birth of Jesus with Susan Robb in The Angels of Christmas, a four-week Advent study.

The Angels of Hearing God’s Voice in Advent, a four-week Advent study by Susan Robb, explores the four angelic visits surrounding the birth of Jesus with Zechariah, Mary, Joseph, and the shepherds. In this study, the reader will explore the visits and dive deep into the history of the angel Gabriel–and other angels–in the Old Testament. The Angels of Christmas uses these four angelic appearances to discuss God’s presence in history and our lives today. The messages of the angels hold meaning for listeners both then and now.

Thought-provoking, hopeful. I think it was the best Christmas study I have read.

Done for a group study at church. This is probably one of the best Christmas studies I have ever done. The author is real, and she brings into her writing Scripture and historical events, making everything that much more real. I hope she continues to write more books and record more videos to accompany them.

Thoughtfully written and a nice start to the Advent season.

A short read. A good reflection on the meaning of Xmas, as revealed by the Angels sent by God to Zachariah, Mary, Joseph, and the Shepherds (the 4 chapters of the book).

A great reminder to look for angels and their messages in our lives as well as to be angels to others!

I thought this book was about the angels of Christmas. The Advent story has so many angels showing up. But this is really an in-depth look at the whole Christmas story. Good but not what I wanted.

Interesting take on the messengers of God and the reasoning behind their messages

I read this through Advent with some friends and it was just ok. Robb uses the angels' appearances to Joseph, Mary and others to illustrate how God still uses angels in our everyday lives.

Struggled getting through this one. I wasn't feeling it.
