The greatest threat to humanity is not the demons seeking to break the seals, but humanity itself. In this alternate earth that is so frighteningly similar to ours it seems the merest nudges are all it takes for people to give in to their baser instincts. People are used as pawns - some unwillingly, some willingly. None really aware of what they are part of. Bombs, war, pandemic, pestilence, disease, corruption - all escalating. The third horseman is revealed.

Characters from previous books (including some you might have thought were done) have story lines that intersect, a few new ones are added creating a complex plot that will keep you reading far into the night - if you are willing to brave nightmares! Some things are becoming clear, others are still a mystery.

This book gets quite a bit more visceral and macabre, which given the subject matter is rather inevitable. Deville maintains the detached, almost clinical descriptive style which in some ways just makes the events that much more horrifying. A story where the Inquisitors are almost as frightening as the enemy they are trying to defeat.

Book 3 of 7, this book follows on the events of previous books and ends with some serious questions. This is a series that needs to be read in order.

This book starts out hard and fast. Storyline is fast moving and heart pounding. Dirty bombs, plague, crop destroying just to mention a few adrenaline rush moments. This brings you to heart of revelations with a different point of view. Powerful read that makes you stop to take a breath before reading more. Received ARC copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.
Waiting for the next book is going to be hard. I didn't want to stop reading.

Oh my goodness!

The third book in this series and I can't wait till the next one comes out. This series is one of the best I have ever read. The characters draw you in and you can't wait to find out what happens to them. You find yourself becoming anxious about what is going to happen next. Good versus evil, and I mean EVIL. Lord help us all of any of these things come to pass. Excellent job Mr. Deville. Kudos to you.

Keeps the nerves on edge!

There is deep intensity in this tale, keeping your nerves on edge throughout the story. So many individual stories woven deftly together to make one horrific and enthralling look at the end of times. Not for the feint of heart, definitely worth the goosebumps!

"The Third Seal" depicts death and destruction through nuclear weapons. The Antichrist emerges, plotting the devastation of crops and the onset of hunger. A trigger warning is advised for themes of death and torture. Lillith reaches her breaking point when she is captured and subjected to torture. I recommend this book to all enthusiasts of End Times narratives.

Everything that you like can be plausible at the end of time is made to come to life in this book. It is packed with action from beginning to end and makes you really stop and think just how real it is to something that could occur in this life. This only makes your pulse rise a little higher. This is a tremendous book and series and should be on your read list.

It continues the grim tale of humanity's downfall as the Third Seal is broken, unleashing famine and starvation upon the world. Giles Horn, the Antichrist, uses science to create "The Blight," a devastating plant virus that eradicates grass species, leading to global food shortages. The book explores themes of survival, demonic possession, and the fragility of human civilization.
