Money Breeds Envy

Rate this book
While Ivory Phillips attempted to make his exit away from the game of drug dealing, authorities of the law had plans to bury him alive in prison. After infiltrating his organization and securing a key witness to testify, federal agents were gaining ground in their mission. Will it be enough to secure their success, or will the kingpin from Piedmont Projects prevail, and live happily ever after with his ride or die companion, Tweety.

Ivory’s right hand man Ray, and his partner, Jolly Jr, were both as loyal as they came. The two have played their roles to the upmost, and Ivory definitely plans to reward them for their unwavering ways. Therefore, Ivory won’t totally give up “that life”, before passing down his plug, and putting his people in position to prosper. Ray, nor Jolly Jr want to see their Boss leave the game, but both are ready to elevate their status in the streets, when that time comes.

Keysha, Jit, and Dunn Dunn represent the drug infested area of Bowling Park to the fullest. The trio continues to push product, and stack paper, and bodies if needed. However, the bigger they get, so does the problems that come along with the game. Always remember, “Money breeds envy. Watch for the growth.”

Wow! Interesting story, incomplete yet had potential. This was my first book by Mr. Torica Tymes. “Money Breeds Envy” was a good read. However, is there a second book? The book’s initially implied a kingpin caught and or there’s potential mole trying to exposed the urban hustle. Unfortunately, there’s only speculations in seventy-nine pages. Who’s the mole/moles? Ivory, just know your enemies…
