J’avais très envie de retrouver l’univers de NieR, jeu vidéo dont je suis absolument fan.
Ce manga nous raconte la fameuse « Opération Pearl Harbor » qui est mentionnée plusieurs fois dans le jeu.

Si j’ai apprécié les dessins et le fait de retrouver l’univers, l’histoire n’est pour l’instant pas vraiment à la hauteur de mes attentes. Mais connaissant Yoko Taro, j’imagine qu’il nous prépare de gros twist pour la suite !

Je me suis déjà procuré le tome 2, on verra bien où cela nous mène !

Ця манґа - це історія зі всесвіту Nier: Automata і, по суті, є адаптацією відеогри. Але читати її можна окремо, навіть якщо ви не знаєте цю гру та взагалі не розумієте, що то за всесвіт такий. Я, наприклад, нічогенько не знала, але читати було цікаво!

Манґа розповідає про дуже далеке майбутнє. Землю захопили іношопланетні загарбники та вивільнили там машинні форми життя. Тож людям довелося тікати на Місяць. Там вони не сидять без діла, бо хочуть повернутися додому, тому створюють нове покоління андроїдів - Yorha, яке стає армією сил спротиву.

Однак насправді ці андроїди не прості, вони мають своїх характери, почуття та емоції. Взагалі під час читання у мене не було враження, що вони андроїди, йшлося ніби про людей 🤔

Кожна андроїдка має свої особливості та навички, які дуже згодяться в бою. Власне для цього їх і було створено. Однак, наприклад, андроїд номер 2 дуже соромʼязлива і не рішуча, що однозначно буде заважати в боях. Але чому ж вони такі? І чи не завадить це операції? Чи не вийде все з-під контролю?

Ця манґа точно буде цікава фанатам цього всесвіту та гри, але вона прийдеться до смаку також і любителям екшену, пригод і великої кількості боїв, адже цьому тут приділено багато уваги: є цілі розвороти з боями між андроїдами та машинними формами життя.

Загалом мальовка манґи гарна, насичена й доволі деталізована. Мені сподобалось. Щодо сюжету важко сказати, бо я не знайома з цим світом, але вже в першому томі було цікаво та інтригуючи, особливо в кінці. А ще й трішки сумно теж. Сюжет тримається не тільки на боях, але також і на емоціях.

Цікаво було б почитати й продовження, та дізнатися, що ж буде із Землею, а з андроїди? Чи повернуться люди на Землю і чи зможуть вони жити на ній в нових умовах?

Aside from the basic plot points being introduced not a whole lot happened in this, we have the androids landing on earth to take it back from the humans. They get into trouble and are saved by another rebel group, that's it and man this was a breeze to read.

I like how uncertain the characters, like as soon as the rebels and the androids meet neither are sure of each other. So it builds up a lot of tension, then you get a story about a beating which might play a bigger part in the series but it just felt oddly placed in this.

Оріджин-сторі андроїда А2, головної персонажки третього проходження гри Nier: Automata і другорядного персонажа перших двох проходжень. Ця історія була додана в якості флешбек-арки до аніме-адаптації, тому, якщо ви вже подивилися аніме, нового ви тут не побачите (аніме передає мангу максимально близько). Загалом, як самостійна історія, "Висадка на Перл-гарбор" дещо розширює всесвіт Автомати, але назвати це розширення принциповим або важливим, на жаль, не можна. Чи пасуватиме манга як вхідна точка у всесвіт Nier? Теж навряд. Nier - це, пердусім, гра, а точніше - серія ігор, і то чимала, якщо рахувати Drakengard. І основна її сила саме в тому, як гра комунікує з гравцями. Це помітно навіть у випадку з аніме, яке, вочевидь, втрачає в цій взаємодії. Утім, якщо ви вже знайомі зі всесвітом і знаєте, за що його люблять - манга буде не зайвим поповненням колекції.

Show me that booty!

Immer wenn ich im Thalia stöbere, komme ich nicht um die Manga-Abteilung drumrum. Meine Liebe für Manga begann ja schon in meiner Kindheit. Mein aller erster gekaufter Manga war „Naruto“. YoRHa hat meine Aufmerksamkeit geweckt, da ich das Spiel „Nier Automata“ kenne. Zu meiner Schande muss ich gestehen, dass ich es zu Hause und auch angefangen habe, doch noch nie zu Ende gespielt. Es ist allerdings noch auf meiner Bucket-List! Der Manga hat mir auf jeden Fall neue Motivation gegeben es bald zu spielen.

Zur Story

YoRHa Abstieg 11941 ist eine Vorgeschichte zu den Ereignissen des Videospiels. Der Manga handelt von einer Abstiegs-Mission 4 Jahre vor 2B. Die Hauptfigur aus Nier Automata ist ebenfalls die Hauptfigur im Manga, hat aber einen komplett anderen Charakter, vielleicht als eine Art Entwicklungsgeschichte. Die Einsatztruppe wird auf die Erde geschickt um einen Server zu zerstören, was den Krieg gegen die Maschinen endlich beenden soll.
Die Geschichte dreht schnell auf. Ich konnte in den kurzen 2 Bänden bereits gut mitfiebern und die Charaktere sind mir ans Herz gewachsen. Natürlich gibt es auch hier die typischen Klischee-Charaktere der Mangawelt, aber ich finde sie sind trotzdem glaubhaft gezeichnet und haben nachvollziehbare Motivationen. Die Cliffhanger fand ich gut gesetzt und es macht Bock auf mehr. Die kurzen Infos zwischen den Kapiteln über die Welt fand ich super interessant und hilfreich.

Kleiner Spoiler!

Eine Sache, die ich nicht so richtig nachvollziehen kann, ist, dass die Androiden komplett menschlich sind. Die wurden ja von den Menschen erschaffen um zu kämpfen, warum dann nicht die Menschlichkeit auslassen? Aber vielleicht gibt es ja dafür noch eine Erklärung in der weiteren Geschichte.

Zum Look

Die Zeichnungen sind alle in top Qualität, auch die Hintergründe sind mit vielen Details versehen. Wie der erste Satz auch schon andeutet, gibt es hier hübsche Mädchen in hübschen Lolita-Kleidchen zu sehen, was ja auch ein wenig der Reiz vom Video-Spiel ist. Mich hat es eher nicht gestört. 2B habe ich sogar schon einmal gecosplayt (schönes Wort oder?), da mir das Kostüm von ihr so gut gefallen hat.

Fazit

Falls ihr also Fan des Spiels seid, dann greift unbedingt zu. Falls ihr Bock auf Action, Sci-Fi und kurze Röcke habt, seid ihr hier auch an der richtigen Adresse. Für mich waren es die interessanten Charaktere und die Endzeitstimmung, die mich am lesen gehalten haben.

Виключно для фанатів гри. Фан-сервіс і примітивний сюжет. Все крутиться навколо ображеного людства, якого вигнали з Землі. І шоб повернутися, треба своїх роботів натравити на інопланетних роботів. Та цей спосіб ніфіга не працює. Що ж, раз не працює, то нумо його повторювати надцять разів з тим же результатом.

Цього разу при атаці виживає лише 4 андроїдші-роботкині, і перше, шо вони роблять, це розбираються, хто ж серед них тепер камандір. Згодом прибувають ворожі роботи, умовно дружні роботикині-повстанкині та зрада-зрадонька. І настільки вона зрадна, що… Що ніяк, бо на цьому перший том якби показує фінальні титри. Чому “якби”? тому шо це манга, які тут титри, тут чекай хіба шо “ту бі контінюед…”

Lange überfällig, aber von Herzen: Mein Eindruck zu Band 4 von YoRHa: Abstieg 11941

Das NieR-Universum gehört für mich zu den faszinierendsten fiktionalen Welten überhaupt – deshalb wollte ich mir für diesen Beitrag besonders viel Zeit nehmen. Mit Band 4 findet die Reihe ihren Abschluss, und was für ein Finale das ist!

Das Werk basiert ursprünglich auf einem Theaterstück aus Japan und liefert vor allem eines: die tiefgreifende Vorgeschichte von A2, die ich persönlich als die wahre Hauptfigur von NieR: Automata sehe. Ihre Erfahrungen, ihre Verluste und die erschütternden Enthüllungen rund um das YoRHa-Projekt haben mich emotional voll erwischt.

Ein Muss für alle NieR-Fans – dieser Band erweitert das Universum nicht nur, er vertieft es auf eindrucksvolle Weise.

Buena dosis de ciencia ficción, acción y guerra. En un futuro lejano, un grupo de androides que representan a la humanidad ha de intentar recuperan la tierra de unos invasores mecánicos. Han pasado algunos milenios y no todo es lo que parece.
Una historia complicada que va deshojando cada capa poco a poco. Un dibujo muy disfrutable y dinámico para un guion que me está gustando y sorprendiendo.

A look into the Pearl Harbor Descent, which is only mentioned by name in the game. Helps flesh out the world a little bit, with some new characters not present in the game. Has a similar story structure to some stories from Short Story Long, but otherwise good. Even has a twist I wasn’t expecting.

Yorha vol.1

This story is in the anime that Crunchyroll is putting out and also in the videogame Nier Automata. Yet there is more detail to this story in the volume.
Well worth the detail if your into Nier.

As a HUGE fan of the NIER franchise I’ll put my bias aside and say this manga wasn’t bad, but it certainly was not the best. It’s a quick and easy read, mostly setting up the events in the next manga I’d imagine since not a whole lot happens. We’re still getting to know the characters, and are being introduced to new ones so…I read it in under an hour on a 2 hour flight.

it's a very interesting plot so far, I do get very confused with the placements of the bubbles. Had issues telling who was talking sometimes and also there was so much info dumping, it was a lot to take in.

Sehr stilvoll gezeichnet. Die Story im Jahre 11.941 hat Potential, wird aber mit wenig Tiefgang erzählt. Teilweise jugendlich und flach, trotzdem schön anzuschauen.
