Bridget Clark has been given a second chance… but can she truly leave the mistakes of her past behind?
With Thanksgiving right around the corner, Bridget has a lot to be grateful for. Elise has re-hired her at Firefly Bistro, and despite her earlier stumbles with love, she’s formed a connection with local police officer Timothy Parsons.
But just as she’s starting to turn over a new leaf, her past collides with her present, threatening to destroy everything.
Sadie and Ethan are also working hard to overcome the past, as he moves on from his career-ending injury and focuses on helping her build up her dog walking business. They even approach Addison and Jesse about investing in the business, hoping to bring their friends on board.
And Charlotte is shocked when a literary agent expresses interest in her book. It’s everything she’s been hoping for, but even as she takes one step closer to achieving her dream, doubt starts to set in—especially when the agent seems to have a different vision for the book than she does.
It’s shaping up to be a busy season in Sea Breeze Cove, with changes, challenges, and surprises all around!
This funny and uplifting women’s fiction series features a cast of characters you’ll want to revisit over and over. If you like stories that explore the beauty of second chances, the importance of family, and the healing power of love, this is the series for you!
The first book in this series pulled me into the plot lines of the characters’ lives. But with each successive book, the grammar mistakes and left-out word errors and mangled sentence structure increased. It seems like they were relying on a grammar check software program, instead of thoughtful and careful proofing. One example: “they were both ready to take the lunge”. Surely they meant”plunge.” Also the dialogue between the couples, which started thoughtful, had gotten overblown and therefore not very believable. The story is fun, escapist chick lit, but the finished product contains enough errors to lack polish and to distract from the overall enjoyments of diving into the books.
I love the Sea Breeze Cove series. I feel like the characters have become my friends and I'm always interested in their lives. I love the surprises in each story and look forward to future developments. This book focused on several existing romances and hinted at future liaisons, such as between Nadia and Hector. More plot twists will be explored in the next book. I recommend anything by Fiona Baker.
I loved diving back in with familiar characters from other books and the continuation of their lives wrapped around the central stories. It was so fulfilling to read about everything and everyone. The storyline was quite engaging and kept bringing you back for more. I’m in love with Seabreeze Cove and it’s residents! I want to move there!
This was a very exciting story. The story draws you into the lives of all the characters excitement of a double wedding, A new relationship on the horizon and a child given up foe adoption years ago is now closer than thought possible. Oh Wow, I can't wait for book7.Enjoy
I loved all of them so far. You will to. I love that all the people in the series stay in the series. They are all friends help each other out. They add new people towards the end of the series so makes ya read all of them. Great books
I've read the entire 7 book series in less than 3 days. The books are lovely even though the endings are predictable. The series follows several couples from their meeting or story beginnings until their happy ending. The small town is cute and the characters are diverse and entertaining.
The only reason I did not rate it higher was because Bridget's on again off again feelings are tiresome. Other than that I have enjoyed this series of books.
Another easy fast read for the sea breeze cove series. It’s nice to see all of it come together. Also I did not see the ending coming! What a surprise!
