I had the honor of receiving an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I read the prequel last year and I’m so proud of what Fran has accomplished.
A lesbian romance with a dual pov, but the twist? One of them was raised by wolves!
This book is definitely unlike anything I’ve ever read before, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes wolves, queer love and coming of ages stories!
The book is out August 26th, so make sure to check it out 🐺

I recieved an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Where to start on this amazing book. Just like the last one in the series I finished it in a single sitting (and I rarely do that for novellas, never mind full novels). I was planning on reading only for maybe half an hour and then then it was suddenly midnight and the book was finished.

It made me cry, it made me anxious, it made me kick my feet giggling like a teenager. All tje spectrum of emotions. You can also clearly see how the author has grown in their writing.

Just like the first in the series, it was an interesting look on how humans live with (or want to destroy) nature. About abusing or wanting to to learn and save what's in our forests. And this time it was about love, even better, sapphic love. And acceptance.

If you love found family, wolves and saving nature I fully recommend this book

*gifted an eCopy for an honest review

A great continuation of Home to the Wild, it's always fun to see where favourite characters go next and this didn't disappoint!

There is something to be said about reading a book with a unique character POV... having been raised by wolves in the wild may not be a sole identity, but it definitely determined how the world is viewed and it was refreshing to see a different world view. If that makes sense?

I had the great pleasure of receiving an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I read the first book in this series last year and enjoyed it. I think this book builds off of that world and characters well and, most importantly, shows where and how Fran has improved as a writer.

I've enjoyed seeing Fran's work and getting to know them over the past year, and seeing this book be completed is a joy. The characters are dynamic and witty, as well as strong and vulnerable when they need to be. The book improved on some shortcomings of the first novel to make the narrative stronger. The slow-burn relationships are a personal favorite for me, especially in this book, because nothing seems forced, and the pacing is wonderful.

Many authors put their hearts and souls into their books, Fran is no exception, and this book is a clear indication of their talents and hard work. I recommend reading this series!

Fran once again brings us into their wonderful world and expands upon it! This book is a lot like catching up with an old friend, as all the characters are older and the stakes have never been higher. Jamie returns to her roots with one thing on her mind, that strange wolf girl she met all those years ago. With a wonderful ensemble of new characters, as well as old faces returning, Fran delivers on everything the first book set up and turns it up to 11 while staying true to what made the first book a classic!

Well, book one made me cry. This one made me create a lake.

This book was so beautiful and well-written. I felt the love, the pull of souls being together, and the fight to save the wilderness for the wolves and nature.

I loved how many times the word lesbian was brought up in the book (10 times). I loved the found family (both human and wolves). I loved the soulmate connection between Jamie and Artemis #artemie. I loved how I cried, I laughed and wanted to scream at Cora. I loved how Artemis learned to speak the human language. I loved everything really.

This was such a great book. I recommend it to all.

Thank you to Francesca for a copy of the ebook. This review is left voluntarily.

Way of the Wild, the sequel to Home to the Wild, may be my favourite book of the series. Every stage of writing this story has been a journey that I've loved. From finally diving into the official sapphic tarzan line to finding the emotional heart of these characters and make them people you would all want to be friends with.

I hope you all enjoy the story!
