Tiernan Morelli is ruthless, powerful, dangerously irresistible.
And Bianca’s new guardian.
He’s not a good man, but she is drawn to him in a way she’s never felt before. Little does she know Tiernan has plans for her, and she will submit to his dangerous temptation.
“A dangerous romance that left me missing the characters long after I finished the book!” - Dani Rene, USA Today bestselling author
WILDEST DREAMS is a collection of two full length novels by bestselling author Giana Darling including DANGEROUS TEMPTATION and BEAUTIFUL NIGHTMARE.
Wildest Dreams is coming September 20th from Dangerous Press… You want to see me beg, Bianca? I'll do it on my knees between your thighs. WILDEST DREAMS is a collection of two full length novels by bestselling author Giana Darling including DANGEROUS TEMPTATION and BEAUTIFUL NIGHTMARE.
Earlier this year I fell down a Giana Darling rabbit hole and read and listened to almost every story she had penned except the Dark Dream duet because at the time, I wasn’t caught up with the Midnight Dynasty world it belonged to. Well, time got away from me, as it tends to do, and here we are with the opportunity to read the entire duet in one bang! SOLD!
Tiernan and Bianca’s story did not disappoint! Giana has an edge to her style and voice that I find addictive and she put that writing trait to good use with these two! She wrote the mix of age-gap, guardian/ward, enemies to lovers, revenge, and redemption masterfully and ridiculously captivating! I couldn’t put this story down and the more truth bombs that were dropped the more captivated I became. I wanted all the answers!! But I knew that wouldn’t be the case because I’d read other Morelli/Constantine stories and knew from them that not all answers to every twist and turn in every story is necessarily revealed or explained in detail because they belong to some other Morelli or Constantine character, and I was totally okay with that! As far as Tiernan & Bianca are concerned, their journey was full circle, and it was a fiery circle! MY GAWD, Tiernan was one of the best anti-heroes that I have read and Bianca (and Brandon of course) was just the spitfire he needed to shine a light inside of him!
I have yet to meet a story in this world that I wouldn’t highly recommend and if dark and gritty is your jam, this is one you should really not miss! Now, about this cover … #twitchy! Ya’ll! Who is that guy supposed to be on this cover?! LOL Someone did not understand the assignment! #sendhelp GAH, I wish they have chosen to keep the cover of Dangerous Temptation for this duet!!!! *sigh*
Wow. Gianna never failed. This book was so good on so many different level and aspects. She’s nailed the writing, the plot, the angst and everything. The stories between Bianca and Tiernan?? No words. They’re been through a lot and deserve to be together. The way Tiernan care for Brandon is so sweet and make my heart squeeze in a good way🫶. This book definitely have my fav tropes ever! Age gap, Mafia!!
Definitely worth to read! And now available in KU!
And thankyou so much for Gianna Darling, Valentine PR, and Dangerous Press for providing me this ARC!!
Giana Darling and Midnight Dynasty world- what a delicious pairing. Her epic, dark and poetic forbidden storytelling paired with the melodramatic, taboo, twisted Morelli-Constantine world is a perfect match- and age gap is pretty much my reader catnip, so I knew this was going to be oh so delicious. And we have everything I love about Giana’s writing- the broken, dangerous, and volatile antihero, a young, plucky, spirited but naive ingenue old in heart thanks to the rough hand life has given her, lots of angsty vibes, and all the unexpected drama.
Dangerous Temptation lets us dive deeper into a Morelli we know less about- the illusive, somewhat estranged Tiernan. He’s the proverbial black sheep of the calculating and ruthless Morelli crew- hard to imagine that the powerful outlaws have outsiders even within their own ranks, but soon we discover the dark and painful history that has resulted in Tiernan lurking on the outskirts of the Morelli world- and the depraved violence that guides his hand. This is a man laser focused on revenge, a plot so thoroughly consuming that he ends up taking on two young wards into his care. The eldest is the target of his ruthless plan- the innocent 17 year old Bianca, a woman who has had her world pulled out from her far too many times for her young age, the latest of which has her desperate to cling to any scrap of hope or help- which makes her the perfect prey for the conniving Tiernan. Now transplanted to Bishop’s Landing, Bianca is under his thumb- and we soon learn the truth of her background that makes her the target of the Morelli wrath- hello drama!
Tiernan is a delicious enigma. And I love how Giana distinguishes him from the other Morelli men we’ve come to love. He’s got the power, the money, the dark proclivities, but Giana paints him as a more jagged character- more raw, more unpredictable, and certainly more troubled. And so incredibly isolated, though he’s built a bit of a lost boys type support network that are really lovable and plot critical additions to this story. In his troubledness, he surprised me in that he’s not quite as ruthless as his reputation leads us to believe- he’s vulnerabilities bleed through more easily, his proclivity for kindness and empathy- particularly as it relates to Biana’s young brother, perhaps because Tiernan recognizes a bit of himself in their mutual abandonment. Giana gives him a lot of nuance early on- the contrast between his cruelty and anger and his unexpected moments of gentleness. And Bianca is a great foil for him- she bleeds kindness and gentleness. She’s an old soul- a caregiver, someone who sacrifices routinely for those she loves. Her integrity, her grit, and her resilience make her irresistibly admirable- but Tiernan calls to her in a way she can not understand. She finds desire and affirmation in his cruelty as much as his kindness- she’s a fascinating character, and one that I can’t wait to see fully realized as she stares down her family’s demons- as well as Tiernans.
Each character is undeniably fantastic, but I felt like the kind of intense emotional energy and soul-aching chemistry I’ve come to expect from Giana didn’t quite shine here like I expected. The longing, the attraction, the emotional chemistry didn’t deliver in the way I’m used to. But, this is part of a duet- so I’m excited to see Giana build on what she’s established. And, to be fair, this is the most hostile start I’ve seen from a couple of hers (even icky at first)- so the normal forbidden longing, connection but resistance is playing out differently- and she’s flipped the script- the physical burn is fast, but the emotional is slower. But both characters are so compelling and interesting, I know the epic soul mate connection she writes so beautifully is in our future, and I can’t deny that I crave their coupling with a ferocious intensity. The monster and his innocent ward - oh yes, simply yummy. Can’t wait for book 2!
Beautiful Nightmare, the epic finale to Tiernan and Bianca’s story is here, and holy moly Giana dials up all the feelings and all the steam. Giana always so effortlessly marries emotional intensity with fast-paced action in her stories, and paired with the dynamic and addictive world of the Midnight Dynasty world, it’s an intoxicating mix. While the first book in the duet is saturated with edgy taboo tension, book 2 really dials up the romanticism, courtesy of the transformation of our leading man Tiernan. The broken anti-hero becomes a healing hero- and he’s, dare I say, SWOONY. Not to mention, Giana gives us all the sexy Tiernan controlling sexy times. I love nothing more than a redemption arc, and Beautiful Nightmare is really that, as both of our characters recognize the “dream” they’ve so handily and cruelly been denied is more of a nightmare.
Whereas book one was all dark, edgy tension and intimate in scale, book 2 has more of a romantic suspense, sweeping quality to it. We have a whole lot more action, the pace is quick, and the twists are abundant, perhaps a bit too much so in places. But it’s highly entertaining, and the emotive connection I’d been craving more depth on in book one does come through here, in part because Tiernan falls so epically and intensely for Bianca and will do anything to have her- including opening his heart. Tiernan turns into a bit of a broody gummy bear in this story- and I was all about it. He’s still got his broken edge, but he’s a much softer alpha, and for much of the second half of the book he even takes a backseat to the story and the action. This worked for me to highlight the real evolution of Bianca as she rewrites her destiny and takes charge of her life for the first time, but I do wish they’d had less time apart in the back half. We do get some important closure and healing for Tiernan though, but he is most certainly a softer character than in book one- but he’s still a yummy alpha in the sheets. He starts as a reluctant hero, and he fights hard to reclaim his girl and keep her safe.
Overall, I really liked both characters arcs’, we see one embrace their inner darkness and the other edge into more of the light. The sweetness comes in seeing them battle the darkness around them (and for Tiernan within himself) to start to create a new dream, a love and family that is somehow suddenly just in reach, with each other and the scene-stealing found family. (I love those Gentlemen and Brando, and I wish we’d had more of them in this book) But securing that life requires them to confront what matters most, to take chances they never expected, and to choose between the warring sides of their hearts. For Tiernan to embrace love and to feel worthy of it, and for Bianca to learn to trust him again, while also trying to figure out herself. Of course, we have plenty of Morelli and Constantine drama to round out the tale- and some cameos from a few favorites too.
There were some third act frustration- not only having our lovers so separate in a lot of the action, but the abundance of twists gave us a lot to process and perhaps some open ends. And I am curious how the Midnight Dynasty- it’s becoming increasingly challenging for authors to deliver satisfying endings to the epic romances that feature the same subset of villains. Some, I’m sure, will be redeemed in star in their own stories (ala the Terror Triplets) but others have so much comeuppance in the bank that books may start to feel anticlimatic if true revenge isn’t served. And this book teetered on that- the story really boxed us into wanting an outcome that isn’t possible when these characters are prominently featured in other stories at the moment. Fortunately, instead Giana leans into the theme of family and love- so even if our villains don't get what they deserve, our heroes DO- and that part is so very gratifying and quite adorable. Overall, a sexy, swoony finale and much deserved HEA for the estranged Morelli son.
Giana has a poetic and practiced prose that is made of the Midnight world- and the type of hero she writes- broken, misunderstood, edge, only devoted to his lady- is pitch perfect for these two feuding families. I do hope she has plans to return to this world- I really enjoyed how thoughtfully she evolved these characters and the uniquely sweet and tender flavor she brought to this world.
Wow, I didn’t know I needed this book! It was so fantastic, I have no words. I always love the bad guy, the anti-hero, and this book was no exception. Tiernan was obsessed with Bianca from the start. Though you wouldn’t have guessed it at first. I absolutely loved how Tiernan kept Bianca in his sights at all times. I loved how Tiernan was with Brando. That showed the man he was underneath. They created their own family with Tiernan, Bianca, Brando, and the Gentlemen. Bianca really grows and finds her strength in this series. Secrets and lies come out, can they withstand them? How do they react to them? I highly recommend this series.
Holy Cow! Giana is obviously one of my favourite authors but this book just knocked it out of the park once again. Who doesn’t love a villain that would do anything for his girl, Tiernan obsession and unwillingness to let Bianca out of his sight had me swooning. This book had me on the edge of my seat unable to put it down for even a second. If you love spicy age gap books this one is for you!
I really enjoyed this bind up! I absolutely loved how Tiernan was with Brandon (the absolute sweetest) I loved how protective Tiernan was of Bianca and how much he wanted to just use her but his plans quickly changed after being around her! I loved seeing how the Morellis and the Contantines were so similar but yet different in there own ways. I loved how much Bianca and Tiernans love bloomed over time. Just a all round great story!
-Dangerous Temptation (5 Stars) Wow! What a delicious beginning to this dark duet! Bianca Belcante and her brother Brandon’s lives change the day she meets Tiernan Morelli. When her mother passed away suddenly, her boy toy somehow becomes The Belcante’s guardian but why? What does Tiernan want from Bianca? A dangerous games ensues when revenge and the Morelli clan are involved. This is part of the midnight dynasty world. Tiernan is definitely your broken anti hero and cruel to the young Bianca. A compelling age gap, romantic suspense that I need more of. Be prepared to get sucked into this twisted family war. Pain play and a D/s “relationship” is involved. This does end in a cliffhanger and told in dual POV
-Beautiful Nightmare (5 Stars) Buckle up pretties as we dive back into Tiernan Morelli and his complex guardianship over Bianca Belacante. When truths are uncovered through a web of lies what will become of Bianca and her new life? This begins where the epic cliffhanger left us and takes off full speed ahead! When the Constantines and Morellis scheme, not everyone makes it out it one piece. Another great addition to the midnight dynasty world. If you love to love a villian with a melting heart you’re gonna fall for Tiernan! I love how the characters all intertwine for other books yet you can read each as a stand-alone series. Be prepared for Intrigue, revenge, twists and a truly messed up family. Told in dual POV
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and options are my own.
YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK. It’s a must.
Okay, let me try and calm down. I had to take a full day away from reading to figure out my feelings for this book and I think I'll be able to get my feelings down. This book was one of my most anticipated reads of this year and it was worth all of the waiting. Yet another couple from Giana Darling that I love so much. These two are a VERY close second to Zeus and LouLou. When main characters have such a connection like these two, it’s hard not to love them. I was so engrossed in this book from start to finish. I couldn't and wouldn't put this book down for anything. I was transfixed and had to read this in one sitting. I loved this book so much and I love Tiernan Morelli and Bianca Belcante with all of my heart. Tiernan Morelli is cruel, broken, alphahole, and I love him for it. Bianca Belcante is a sweet, innocent, naive, a heart of gold who will do anything for her sweet little brother. They’re imperfect, filled with secrets, lies and tension. It's a book that I will highly recommend to anyone who will listen to me.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Beautiful Nightmare:
I received an eARC in exchange for an honest review. My thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is the book I’ve been hopelessly waiting for. My plan from the very beginning was to take this book as slowly as I possibly could. I’m glad I did it that way. I knew not if, but when I had the chance to speed read this book, I would feel so disappointed with how quickly it ended. The twists, turns and emotions really kept me on my toes the entire time. This book, and even book one, are books you can read in one sitting with no problem. I really don’t know how Giana Darling does it, but her words are so carefully thought out. And what I mean by that is, you can tell that every single word that she uses in her books was meticulously picked for a very specific reason. She writes in this beautifully lyrical way that just sucks you right into her stories. Overall I really enjoyed this book. The dynamic between the Morellis and the Constantines is so tumultuous and is always ready to be set on fire. I loved getting to know each of the families on a different level. I really think I’d prefer the Morellis or the Constantines, they just hit differently. Tiernan and Bianca are two main characters that I will never forget. They will live rent free in my mind.
Ok, I admit it. I always fall for the bad boy. I loved Tiernan & Bianca. I also loved how the Gentlemen circled the wagons for her & Brando. I think our first real glimpse of Tiernan is in his treatment of Brando. I loved that no matter where Bianca was, she was never far from Tiernan’s grasp. Tiernan took his first real step away from his father. In doing so, I felt him give Bianca back hers. I can’t wait to see where we go next. I am loving where Ms. Darling is going with this couple… now I have to wait for the next book!
Beautiful Nightmare
This was so worth the wait. Tiernan & Bianca were the best of what makes dark romance my favorite genre. Ms. Darling writes stories that make you hold your breath waiting to see the outcome. I loved the family that this monster brought together. It made me cry to see the brothers come together. Bryant caused a lot of pain. I loved seeing Bianca & Brando’s love start to heal him. I loved the lightness and fun that Bianca & Brando brought. I was not ready for this one to end.
I read these books when they were published individually and book one was one of my favorite books of the year! I didn't love the second book quite as much but this story remains one of my favorites because there are so few contemporary guardian/ward books! My original review of the individual books are below:
Dangerous Temptation 4.5 Stars Dangerous Temptation is definitely one of my favorite books in the Midnight Dynasty world! I am an absolute sucker for guardian/ward, age gap tropes, as well as hot and cold, rude but HOT damaged heroes with a secret gooey center just like Tiernan Morelli. *fans self* Heroine Bianca Belcante is a mature, old soul teenager who has had to essentially raise the sweetest little brother known to man. I loved every scene with him in it and the way he brings out Tiernan's good side. I was ecstatic at how Bianca and Tiernan's relationship progressed in this book, and loved all the light homages to Beauty & the Beast, especially all of Tiernan's employees/friends at his gothic mansion. My only wish for this book would be for more. More encounters between them, more heart-melting moments, more of everything! It is a relatively short-to-medium length book and though I wouldn't call the ending a cliffhanger it is very definitely the end of a "Part I" preceding the second half of the story to be published in book two, which I am very, very eagerly anticipating.
Note: this version included the prequel Bad Dream, which is also available free separately right now, and definitely this prequel should be read first as it gives much needed context. And though it is not necessary because this book does standalone (when prequel is read too), knowing about the Constantine/Morelli feud and some of the characters involved in it from reading other Midnight Dynasty books did enrich my reading experience slightly.
Beautiful Nightmare 4 Stars Beautiful Nightmare is the second/last book in the Dark Dream duet featuring Tiernan Morelli and Bianca Belcante. I have highly enjoyed their romance as I love the guardian/ward trope (though that was more in play in the first book than in this one) and they have hot chemistry in addition to a poignant emotional one when taking into account their respective pasts. Circumstances have the couple apart for a large chunk of this book and though I enjoyed that part of the story and how smart it was I do also wish they would have had more time together on page in this second book, both those two alone and with their made family - and dear, sweet Brando! - as all of those scenes shine bright as the best part of the book/duet. The ending had a little bit of an ....abruptness? ... feel to it but the back of the book says there will be a bonus epilogue coming and I am looking forward to that because I love this couple (and Tiernan's dirty mouth!) so much.
Now everyone knows that I love Giana Darling and have slowly been making my way through her entire backlist after devouring the Fallen Men Series like a savage bear so it was no surprise that I enjoyed Wildest Dreams!
We follow Bianca & Tiernan in their crazy, dramatic almost Romeo & Juliet(i say that loosely because they are from dueling families) like love story. This story gives rich family drama w/ a hint of mafia with some suspense all wrapped into one.
I have to say my favorite part of the stories was Bianca towards the second half of the book where she starts to uncover herself and learn more about that passing of her father and how much her father actually loved her and her family. I will also say the romance is fast paced and almost doesn’t feel like Bianca is three months shy of 18, she sounds like an almost 30 year old woman and you see more of that as you read.
The SPICE?!?! Honey, the dirty talk was amazing. Tiernan can put it down and his character development was excellent. Giana really writes her male characters well to the point where you can almost feel all the pain they are feeling. I connected with him more in this series just because we got to see more of his struggle as a survivor and navigating through trust.
Overall, I would recommend this to any person that has read any of Giana’s work and wants to be wrapped up in her beautiful writing. I would also recommend this to anyone who loves a good rich, age gap, drama filled romance because this book keeps you interested at every twist & turn!
Thank you Valentine PR, Dangerous Press, & the lovely Giana Darling for the early access to this wonderful series in exchange for an honest review!
Prepare yourself! This is one wild and intense ride of emotions. The plot is intriguing. The characters are multi-layered, tragic, and complex. My heart hurt for them so many times but it was put back together in the end. These were previously released as the Dark Dream Duet but are now contained in one book, Wildest Dreams.
Dangerous Temptation: An alpha hero with a dark and lighter side? Yes, please! Dangerous Temptation is a taboo/enemies-to-lovers trope that I could not put down.
Tiernan Morelli is a complicated man. He is alpha, broody, and dark, with deep scars, and has suffered different forms of abuse at the hands of his father. He is the black sheep of the family, constantly seeking acceptance from them. Has he finally met his match?
Bianca Belcante is a seventeen-year-old girl who lost both of her parents and cares for her younger brother, Brando. While she is mature in many ways, she is also still young and naive. What she doesn't realize is that she has become a pawn in Tiernan's dangerous game of revenge.
There are so many layers to this book. The plot was addicting and well-written. It is filled with drama, secrets, lies, and revenge. It has great world-building, it felt as if I was there in the book, seeing everything and feeling every emotion. It was addicting. There were wonderful and broken characters. Tiernan was such a contradiction. He is a guy you will hate and love. Bianca is a force to be reckoned with. Especially for a girl her age. The steam is deliciously forbidden and sexy. Keep in mind there is a big age gap and a forbidden/taboo aspect to this story so if you have issues with this, you've been warned.
Beautiful Nightmare: What an EPIC conclusion to Tiernan and Bianca's story! Secrets and lies finally come to light with dire consequences. Will these revelations burn everything to the ground, or will Tiernan and Bianca rise from the ashes? This dark romance is intense, twisted, and full of angst, intriguing characters, deep emotions, heart-clenching moments, sizzling chemistry, and so many twists and turns you won't see coming. From start to finish, I couldn’t put it down. Get ready for this wild ride. You won't regret it!
Book title: Wildest Dreams Author: Giana Darling Series: N/A Star Rating:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Steam Rating:🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wildest Dreams is a bind up of 2 full length novels and a novella that were previously released as single books: Bad Dream, Dangerous Temptation & Beautiful Nightmare.
I absolutely loved this! This is the second Giana Darling series I’ve read, the first being Fallen Men, and I don’t know why I hadn’t read more sooner. Giana just has a way with words that just instantly captures you. I could not put this down!
Wildest Dreams follows Bianca, with her younger brother Brando and their new guardian Tiernan. Tiernan becomes Bianca and Brando’s new guardian after their mother passes away. Now you might think he does this out of the kindness of his heart but no, he has a revenge plan and they are apart of it. But he didn’t expect to fall for her and her little brother. Both of them slowly warming up his cold heart.
I won’t say anything more but trust me when I say it was so good! It had a guardian/ward relationship, with a 12 year age gap, obviously forbidden romance, so many secrets and lies and revenge plotting, a sassy heroine, an antihero/villain, touch her and die vibes and some the hottest sex scenes I’ve read in ages! It does contain some dark themes and violence so please look into trigger warnings.
Highly, highly recommend! I’m definitely going to go back and read more of Ms Giana Darlings books I am obsessed with her writing!
This starts with Bad Dream, during which reading, my thoughts were - Poor Bianca and her brother. They lose everything and the only person they have to rely on is Tiernan, who so far, I don't know if I like. Color me intrigued though, for their story. Worth mentioning is that there's definitely an age gap and forbidden aspect if this goes where I think it will. After all, he's now her guardian.
Then the story takes off with Dangerous Temptation. And my thoughts at that point were- Wow, Tiernan is fierce, but has such a sad backstory. I swear, the layers in this world. I'm addicted to every ounce of information about all the power families, good and bad. I'm loving how Bianca and Brandon have wiggled their way into his heart, and the hearts of his men. And I love how they both like him for who they know him to be. It ends in a showdown, and I'm ready to see how this all plays out.
Then of course, the ending of this whole awesome story- Beautiful Nightmare. I love how in this book, Tiernan softens his heart, while Fiance grows some serious backbone and rises to the level she was always meant for. Not only does this have action, backstabbing, intense moments....but it also how's tender scenes (I cried more than once). I feel like even if you removed the romance, it was so great to see Tiernan get everything he deserved- family, acceptance, and love.
Giana is such an amazing writer, she brings life to the characters and they feel real. While reading the book I felt like I am watching it happen, every little detail was so perfectly woven into the story that just blew my mind. The story captured my attention from the very beginning and I was so happy that I got to read the entire book in one go because waiting for the next book in a series or in this case, a duet is a very hard task when the story and the characters decide to stay rent-free in your mind.
Tiernan and Bianca are the beautiful names of the MCs and their life is all struggles and chasing the inner darkness. Tiernan is an all dark handsome scarred male, who everybody fears, he’s the enforcer of the Morelli family. Whereas Bianca is the purest soul with a heart of gold and I loved her determination in finding her happily ever after even with all the complications thrown in her life by Fate. The rivalry between Morelli and Constantine brings them together in an unexpected journey and the secrets discovered along the way just blow your mind.
It’s a fantastic story, I recommend everyone should try it. The things Tiernan do is freaking adorable even his rage is lovable. The Gentlemen are wow and Brando is the cute little person everyone needs in their life. The story is fire. Everything was fulfilling but I still wanted a good epilogue, I’ll miss that.
I absolutely loved this story. The characters were so wonderful, the storylines were exciting and action packed, and the smut was taboo-y goodness. Wildest Dreams is the Dark Dreams omnibus and it includes Bad Dream, Dangerous Temptation and Beautiful Nightmare all as one book. And one of my favorite series in the Midnight Dynasty world.
Tiernan constantly struggled with his view of himself, was he a monster or a man? Bianca (and Brando) brought out the man in him, while still loving and embracing his inner monster too. I struggled a little bit in the beginning with Bianca being 17, but she really was an old soul and I often forgot she wasn't over 18. She was a strong heroine who held her own and did what she needed to to protect her family.
I fell head over heels for these characters. Tiernan and Bianca are amazing, but the side characters are so awesome too. I'm really hoping that Midnight Dynasty lets us find The Gentlemen's HEAs too. I love those guys to pieces.
I loved the storylines throughout the book. There was a lot of action, even ending with quite the bang. More than once my jaw dropped, one particular confession had me looking like a deer in headlights for a moment while I regained my composure. The journey Bianca and Tiernan went on to find happiness was intense, but beautiful and I loved every moment.
"A look that said, I dare you to sin. A look that welcomed your darkest desires."
Ohhh here we go y'all, Giana is back at it with 2 full length novels in Wildest Dreams-Dangerous Temptation and Beautiful Nightmare and they are the 3 D's, Dark, Dirty and Delicious!!! lol
We have Tiernan-the 3 D's...haha & Bianca...oh Bianca, your mother has left you in quite the predicament!!! Man, sometimes I felt like Bianca, I didn't know if I wanted to kill Tiernan or jump his bones...lol He was as cruel as he could be, but then he could be sweet..ish, caring..ish Lol..you will have some whiplash for sure..haha
And I know I'm not telling you much, but as you know, I love going in blind..experience all this angst with no spoilers!! Lol
So if you love some Giana Darling like me, like those enemies to lovers books and throw in an age gap. *THUD* This book will be right up your alley!!! Sooo Yummy!!!
I’m in shocked. What did I just read !? Tiernan and Bianca, WOW!
This book is dark, dirty, sexy, age gap, and fkn amazing! Tiernan is the bad mysterious guy who everyone fears. He is used to getting his way and having control. Bianca is sweet and has had to grown up forcefully to take care of her younger brother making her more mature for her age.
Bianca has always wanted someone to be able to not just take care of her but give her peace and calm like she gives to those she loves.
Tiernan wants power and revenge no matter the cost.
These two are a complete contrast to one another but fit perfectly. Like Yin and Yang. Both are forces to be reckon with.
Brandon and the Gentlemen on the other hand are some of my favorite characters in this book!
Highly recommend it to read! I was not able to put this book down for a good chunk of it!
I'll say this straight off. I loved Bad Dreams and Dangerous Temptation. I was excited to read the next installment and it didn't disappoint at all. It was everything i wanted and more. Tiernans love for Brando melted my heart. And the realisation how he felt made me swoon for him. Little thing....ahh my heart couldn't cope with the cuteness overload. Yes he is an arse and so bossy but my oh my 🥵. And Bianca - what a pair she soon grew! I love her!! This massive book is well worth a read. I'm a massive GD fan anyway so I'm pleased to have been able to review this early
This boxset is the two books in the Dream Duet by Giana Darling. It is set in the Midnight Dynasty World. Tiernan Morelli is all sorts of yummy and despite his monsterous demenour Bianca saw beyond that. She penetrated his wall which was enforced by hate, anger and cruelty. The way he was with Brando though… that was definitely the cherry on the sundae. Tiernan is an antihero that you will fall so hard for. He is depraved and all sorts of savage but man oh man, I was hooked! This pair took me on one crazy wild ride. 5 stars!
What a way to romanticize pedophile. He’s 30 and she’s 17 y/o. I’m a sucker for anti hero trope but this one is an exception, I really can’t look past the way he treated the heroine with the cruel remarks and worst he slept with heroine mother at the beginning, even there’s no actual scenes of this but heroine heard them having sex 💀 (this is way before the H & h involved in any relationship) he dated the heroine mother to get revenge on her father. The other scene that I really hate when he treated heroine like a scum after she give him a BJ for the first time and he said she was better than her mother, like WTFFFF 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮.I try so hard to finish this book because it’s quite engaging and want this MF to grovel and begging for forgiveness from the heroine unfortunately she forgives him quite easily🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 and and this book really pissed me off because it’s kind of cliffhanger due to the no epilogue with actual HEA.I’m so over it.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This read has everything I love about Giana’s writing. A slow seduce, an enticing storyline and an anti-hero I knew I would love. I did not want it to end.
Tiernan has taken over guardianship of Bianca and Brando, to use them in a plan of revenge against the Constantine’s that will help him gain recognition in his family.
When Bianca and Brando arrive at Lion Court, their new home looks like a bad nightmare with a dark and dangerous edge, much like the man of the house.
Tiernan, I loved his split personality, with his caring and protectiveness side when it comes to Brando, which gave me major heart eyes. Then we have his dark, broody, uncaring and cruel character, brought on by his upbringing and being the black sheep in the Morelli family. He liked the darkness and at times when his heart was starting to thaw a little, he wouldn’t dare let it show and snapped right back to his natural cruel persona. And his cruelness I loved, he didn’t falter, always ready to give it out to his sassy, smart-mouthed responsibility!
I loved how Tiernan came in, issuing out demands of Bianca, setting his expectations and how she fought back. She’s been her own person for far too long to let anyone tell her what to do. Queue the possessive man and he’s ready to strike to show who’s boss.
You are going to fall so hard for Bianca. She’s had to grow up quickly and has been Brando’s caregiver for years after her dad died and her mum slipped on her responsibilities. She’s caring, loving, fun, feisty and likes to torment and push Tiernan past his self-control, which I loved!
We also have some amazing side characters, Ezra, Walcott and Henrik, the only ‘family’ who cared enough about Tiernan to stick by him and can see past who he is.
What I wasn’t expecting was how this book made me feel, Giana made me cry! So beware ☺️
The story had a great pace and kept me hooked from the start. I was so involved in Tiernan, you will love him but you will also hate him at times. And Bianca, that poor girl. I can’t wait for the war!
Beautiful Nightmare - Book 2
This is book two of the duet and continues from where ‘Dangerous Temptation’ finishes.
I loved Tiernan in ‘Dangerous Temptation’, but my love for him went next level in this read. Gone was the cruel brooding man he was and in comes a man capable of love, when he never dreamed that. From the first chapter, there was a change in him, he was willing to open up and be vulnerable for Bianca, but he knew she had to work through forgiving him after all the lies and manipulation, but was ready to prove himself.
Bianca has found herself with Caroline, living under her roof after she offered her a place to stay. Bianca couldn’t believe her luck and jumped at the chance to stay at the Constantine camp in hope she would learn more about her father, Lane.
Although only seventeen, Bianca had a soul anyone would be drawn to, kind, caring and compassionate but she was no fool. I loved her sassiness in book one and although we didn’t see this in this book, we got the other side to her. She found her strength and was able to fight for it.
I loved how effortlessly Giana weaved the story in line with other stories from this world, continuing the rivalry between the Morelli’s and the Constantine’s.
I can’t not mention The Gentleman and Brando. When Tiernan was dealing with losing Bianca to Caroline, these men and child were right at his side, helping him, cementing his love for them. His character went from strength to strength knowing that everything he always wanted, a family, was within reach. His love for Brando made me swoon so bad. I’d love a future scene with maybe kids of his own 🤞.
I devoured this book, the story was engaging with twists and turns and kept me hooked on what was to come. But what I loved most was that they became a family that was full of love for each other.
Giana is one of my favourite authors and one of my favourites who can write age gap flawlessly. Another amazing read!
Holy Motherclucker, Giana Darling was trying to end me with this book!! Damgerous Temptations is a Dark Romance from Dangerous Press, and WOW! does it meet the mark!
Tiernan Morelli, who you may have met before if you read Giana's Baby It's Cold Outside short in the Meet Me Under The Mistletoe Anthology, is one of the darkest Anti-heroes I've read this year. Scarred, tatted, and otherwise all the things I love in a man, he's also mentally scarred from the treatment at the hands of his family. He's also a man on a mission, sent by his father to destroy the one family his hates the most. In the process he inadvertently rescues two orphans.
Bianca Belcante, one of the orphans rescued by Tiernan is on a mission to do as much damage to the man as possible, not understanding that when he said owned her, he was NOT playing. Bianca is also out to find the woman who kept her father from her the majority of her life.
The suspense in this book is a wild ride, the darkness is in the style of Giana's Enthralled and Tiernan's rough sexuality caught me on the hook more than any man of Giana's aside from Zeus Garro!
The spicy side of this book is DARK, dirty, forbidden, and SO GOOD it'll make you 💦!! If you like forbidden, Age Gap and Dark Romance, Dangerous Temptations is the book for you! A solid 5 stars, hands down Giana Darling knocked it out of the park!!
Tiernan and Bianca rocked my world in Beautiful Nightmare! After Dangerous Temptation, I was worried that Tiernan and Bianca might never find their way back to each other.
Tiernan's whole persona has been damaged by his family, and more so throughout his life as Bryant sought to keep him separated from everyone who loved him. Bryant has continued to turn the screws, making a monster out of Tiernan with each twist. Tiernan just wants to get Bianca back home where she belongs, before she gets hurt.
Bianca Belaconte has spent her entire life taking care of everyone around her, especially Brando, but she finally is ready to get her own back and she knows just how to do that. Her strength and ferocity throughout Beautiful Nightmare was enticing, and gorgeous to watch.
I loved watching Tiernan and Bianca come together as a sexy, steamy couple. They are absolutely delicious together, a little terrifying, but oh so yummy!! Their desire to protect each other and their found family is absolutely everything, and I am HERE FOR IT!!
This is a forbidden, age gap & enemies to lovers romance between Bianca Belcante & Tiernan Morelli.
There is never a dull moment in the Midnight Dynasty world, every book exposes more secrets about the Morelli & Constantine Families.
Bianca is only seventeen and living with her mother Aida and younger brother Brandon. She has had to grow up fast when her father died five years ago and she has been responsible for her brother while her mother dates are around looking for a suitor to take care of her.
Tiernan, is the black sleep of the Morelli family. The only Morelli child with green eyes while the rest have brown eyes. The one with the scar on his face, who is mysterious and tortured. He has revenge on his mind.
Bianca and Tiernan cross paths due to the worst circumstances, little does Bianca know there is much more to why Tiernan has arrived in her life and he is now her guardian.
I always love a damaged antihero. Tiernan is a tortured soul, hasn’t been close to his siblings since he was a child. His father has been cruel towards him for most of his life and there is a reason for that.
Bianca awakens something in Tiernan that forces him to reevaluate what is most important in life. What started out as revenge slowly changes as more secrets in Bishops Landing are exposed.
Tiernan & Bianca are very similar in that they are both looking for a place to belong and I’m so glad they have found it together!
I will definitely be adding this book to my @dangerouspress collection
An ARC was provided by @valentine_pr_ in exchange of an honest review
“She was too good, and I was too bad, but life wasn’t black and white, and somehow, together, we made more sense than we did separately. Night and day. Ice and fire. A matched set”
Tropes Forbidden (guardian/ward) Age gap (she’s 17 he’s 30) Enemies to lovers Mafia vibes Beauty and the beast vibes Billionaire Slow burn
Wildest dream is a full length novel being released for the first time in KU on 20th September. Previously these books were released separately as Bad Dream, Dangerous Temptation and Beautiful Nightmare
It’s been months since I have read my favourite series, the fallen men by @gianadarlingauthor and immediately when I started reading this story I was reminded how amazing her writing style is. She is one of my favourite authors of all time and her writing style is beautiful- I adore it
This book is set in the Dangerous Press world of the Morellis v the Constantine’s and I loved it so much I’ve decided to work my way through all the books set in this world.
This story follows the story of Tiernan Morelli, a man set out for revenge from the trauma in his past. He’s the definition of morally grey and I adore him ❤️ I loved seeing him develop and change as the book went on. Tiernan became Bianca and Brandon Belcantes guardian, when their mum died and he wanted to use them to carry out his revenge plots. But these two gradually thaw his black heart and I loved the extended found family that develops. Tiernan lives with his men call the gentleman- who run all of his businesses and the gentlemen, although all ruthless in their own right, melt for the two Belcantes. Brandon is only 7 and has epilepsy and the way they care for him is so sweet
This sorry had lots of action, plot development, angst, was a slow burn which was 10000% worth the wait and provided me with one of my most favourite of all of Gianas men- Tiernan Morelli. Highly recommend
This was my first introduction into Giana’s mafia world. I’ll preface by saying, seldom do I love Mafia Romance because it usually paints women in a negative light. Leaving them to be weak, “yes men” at the feet of their husbands.
Now, this is the opposite of what Giana created. Wildest Dreams showcased a young but fierce FMC. She was witty, charming, loyal and absolutely a fabulously written woman. I often forgot her age when faced with her personality on the pages. She was incredibly mature and well placed in this world.
This tragic age-gap love story was full of suspense. It had my emotions all over the place. My heart ached for the betrayals, uncovered truths and the back story of the anti-hero.
Tiernan was definitely the hardest character to both hate and love. As the story progresses, you’re given equal reasons for both. Although his POVs really bring to light what familial trauma can do to children and how hard it can be to find a place in your heart to create a family for yourself.
Giana focuses heavily on the importance of family, by blood or by bond. I live for the found family trope and this was done beautifully.
This gets 4 shining stars ⭐️ I deducted a star because I feel like the end left me wanting more answers than it could give. Not to say the ending wasn’t a good conclusion. I, myself, just kept asking what about “XYZ”? I felt like there were strategically placed plot points that had eluded to things that never came to light. I do believe we can possibly look to seeing those answers in future books in the Morelli world. If so, I can easily see this being a 4.5 ⭐️ read.
With all of that being said, even if I don’t get those answers, this was still a great read. I can live with the minor lack of clarity.
