I loved this box set. This three book box set follows three sisters as they suddenly discover they have magical powers. Each book focus mainly one one sister as she over comes certainly struggles and discovers love, all while being chased by magic hunters. The books are very different, as are the personalities of the sisters but each is as spellbinding as the last. The bond between the characters is strong and will have you wishing for a happy ending for everybody. I also liked that some of the characters from the authors other series had a role to play. As it is a magical romance series the author does include sex scenes but warns you when they are coming so you could skip that chapter and not miss any of the story. I am glad to see there are more books in this series.
Book 1 Witch Way After Forty
This book is about Alys the oldest sister. I think I enjoyed this book the most as it is where the sisters first discover they are witches and learn how or what triggers there powers. Alys also finds her husband in bed with a prostitute. When your power is to control the weather and is triggered by anger, going through a messy divorce isn't the idea position to be in. Especially when hiding from magic hunters who want to drain your magic and soul. Can Alys learn to control here powers and to love again? The leader of the werewolves sure hopes so because he needs her and her sisters help when a young pack member goes missing.
Book 2 Witch Way Did She Go
This is Maeve the middle child's story. She is the only sister to be married to a human and already have children, she is also suffering with a chronic illnesses. I enjoyed this story but wished she had believed in Cal more. Maeve as an enchantress has the power to put everybody under her spell but the only spell she wants is to be healthy and for her husband to want her again. When the sisters learn that Mother Superior of Magic and her healing amulet might hold the answers to her Multiple Sclerosis, she and her sisters head into the jungle. There they can't help but use magic and that puts the magic hunters back on there trail. Can Maeve and here sisters survive the jungle and zombies to find the answers?
Book 3 Witch Way is Up
This is Siobhan's story, the youngest and most adventurous of the sisters. Even though this is mostly Siobhan's story and love life, it also rounds up the three books and the sister learn it they can use magic or will be hunted for the rest of there lives.
Even though Sebastian helped save her sisters life, Siobhan can't get over the fact that he is a dark Fae and was one of the magic hunters trying to kill her and her sisters, or he lied to her. The only problem is her body doesn't know she is mad at him and every night she is traveling in her sleep to be with him, putting both there lives in danger. It is time to face the high consul and find out if they are allowed to use magic but time is the one thing they don't have when things don't go there way. Sebastian has lost all his Fae magic and will have to stand out of the way, as Siobhan has to face her past. Can she let go of her trauma and learn to love? And will the three sisters and there mates come up with a plan that doesn't have them hiding for the rest of there lives?
I liked the narrator. She had a pleasant voice and gave each character there own unique voice.
I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntary left this review,

I really loved every one of these stories and was lucky enough to have been given an audiobook to listen to which I also loved.
This is my honest review on each book.

Book 1 - Witch Way After Forty
Three witchy sisters
Loved this story about three older sisters who for fun make an empowerment drink and suddenly find themselves powerful witches.
If they only knew what they were doing!!
The book mainly centres on Alys whose marriage breaks down leaving her filing for divorce and now single.
Paving the way for a much younger sexy man who has been on the sidelines eager to let his intentions be known on how he feels about her.
We also learn about the other two sisters as they play a big part in this book as well.
There is drama, evil entities after all the sisters, a magical community to be introduced to, some fun and sexy times making this an excellent novel that I’m really looking forward to finding out more in the following books.
Really great relatable characters.

Book 2 Witch Way Did She Go
The Silver sisters
In her search to find a magical cure for her MS diagnosis Maeve alienates herself from her family and the people she loves.
Too scared to trust telling her husband Cal about her magic and illness for fear of losing him.
Instead there is a great hole in her life and her family are miserable.
I loved this story, where we delve deeper into all of the sisters lives as they come together to go on a quest to help Maeve find the Mother Superior of Magic and a healing amulet.
There is magic, danger, zombies, dark fae, outside help from a supposed enemy, secrets, confessions and plenty of love.

Book 3 - Witch Way Is Up
I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook.
The story is about Sibby and her struggles with being a witch and her previous troubles with men.
All three sisters from the previous books play a part in her discovery and this story also goes through the trials they deal with being accepted as witches in the magical community.
Loved that her man had so many elements to him from being evil to being on the side of good all because of his love for his woman. Liked that the author delved into both of these characters pasts as they were at times complex and traumatising.
Looking forward to reading / listening to more of the Silver sisters books.

Love, Love It!

I started this series a little apprehensive but it has turned out to be a really good series so far…
I couldn’t put it down & I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. Lots of adventures, discoveries & mysteries. Sisterhood & some real life stuff that we all go through. But, with a twist!

Audiobook review.

I enjoyed this boxset so very, very much. The stories are wildly entertaining, the plots have emotional depth, and the sisters and their loved ones are delightful. Jacqueline Rendell’s narration is excellent.

A review copy of this book was sent to me by the author. All of the above opinions are my own.
