This study is designed to be a very simple and basic study of Mark for people who have had minimal or no prior exposure to the Bible or Bible study. That said, it also contains some deep truths that God revealed to me as I studied and wrote. The 16-week study looks at the book of Mark verse by verse. Each lesson is written to be used by the presenting teacher with six or seven review questions for the students at the end of each lesson. Because of the study’s design, the teacher is the only one who needs a book. The questions at the end of the lessons are for discussion. May you be blessed as you look at the Gospel of Mark verse by verse. All Bible quotations are from the New American Standard Bible. The answers for all the questions in the text are found at the end of the book. This book is suitable for either group or individual study.
Ruth Miller writes sweet Amish Romances, filled with faith, fun, and forgiveness. Her interest in the Amish began with her name. She went in search of plain roots, and was dismayed to discover there were none. Still, she travels to Amish country several times each year for research purposes. And for fun, as well.
Ruth holds the Plain people in the highest regard and believes they provide us with an example of the sort of Christ followers we should all aspire to be. In the high tech world we live in, we may not all be able to “go Amish”, but that is no reason we cannot incorporate some of their principles into our everyday life. Simplicity, living with less, appreciating nature, forgiving others more readily, and trusting in God are values that can only make our lives better.
When Ruth isn’t writing, swimming, or reading, she is bragging to her friends about her precious babies. Family comes first with Ruth, and she cannot get enough time with hers.
