Lara, the female human lead, is desperate to find an income stream to support her sister and niece. When she sees an alien surrogacy program, she signs up. Soren, the male alien alpha lead, has grudgingly agreed to a surrogacy program with Earth because his people have accidentally genetically modified themselves so that they can’t reproduce on their own. When Lara arrives, he can scent she’s his match and he wants more than the baby she can carry for him. But her family is still on Earth…

This story is dual POV, well written, and an interesting, highly erotic romance. I understood Lara’s decisions and appreciated Soren’s growing empathy. I was amused at his instant connection that he refused to admit was more than physical for a long time. I appreciated Lara’s determination to make her situation work and enjoyed Soren’s willingness to support her and hope for her return when she needed to leave. I also liked Lara’s sister and niece and am looking forward to their story next year.

Story sounded like it would be light reading and a fun way to pass a few hours. Lara needed the money Soren was going to give to her family to help them and Soren needed someone to bear him a child. Both knew the terms that they signed up for.

Soren did treat Lara well. However, one of the things that bothered me right from the start was that the women were separated from each other. On the ship they did not have any contact with each other and when they landed, they were not allowed to mingle then either. The one time that Lara saw another earth woman and she tried to talk to her she was punished “spanked” for her own good. Soren got to go to work and spend time with his male friends in a bar, while Lara got to stay home and not have anyone to socialize with.

These alien men sounded just like earthlings complete with all of our modern slangs and customs. Except for the repeated mention of his size in comparison to Lara he could have just been a big athlete from earth.

The contract was another thing that didn’t make any sense if you just do the math. Not everyone will get pregnant right away and say they did become pregnant right away so the mother is going to leave her unweaned child of a few months and just walk away? Is this going to become a planet of single dads? If she got pregnant later and her contract is up does she just keep it and head back to earth still carrying the baby? Loads of questions about the contract and several other things.

The story is basically 90 percent horizontal time without much conflict or anything else happening for that matter. So while it was cute there wasn’t anything to really sink your teeth into.

I received an ARC and I am leaving a voluntary review.

There’s a sweetness to it and it’s very low angst which is what I wanted. The writing shows promise but there’s developmental issues with the story.

The spice was trite and pedestrian. It reads like the author had a kink list of everything they wanted to incorporate regardless of whether it worked in the story or not. Omegaverse? Check. Breeding? Check. Degradation and humiliation? Check. Spanking? Check. The spicy dialogue, again, reads like another list. Praise? Check. You were made for me? Check. You can take it. Check. The in between moments are written so well and it would be great if that was more integrated.

Then there was the weird stable scene. What was that. He’s so smitten and sweet to her and then when she has the opportunity to interact with another human he punishes her for it. Saying she must listen as submit and on this planet there’s rules you must follow but the rules are never explained. It seems the author wanted to shove a punishment spanking scene into the mix. It’s weird and out of place. Is she not allowed to make or have friends? He gets to hang out at the bar with his friends.

The breeding contracts are for one year. It’s never stated if they have a time limit to get pregnant so they give birth on planet. Because the offspring are supposed to stay once the contract is up. And is it a planet of single dads after that? Do they shack up with an alien female and raise hybrid babies?

Lastly, nothing about it feels alien. A lot of the word choices are odd for describing the world building on an alien planet: front porch, cottage, fluorescent light. It’s a glaring omission to detail.

I liked the story itself but fixing some of these issues would have made it a 4 star read.

Earth is in bad shape and food is getting expensive and scare and jobs are hard to find. Lara's parents died and Lara feels responsible for taking care of her younger sister and her two year old niece. Times are so desperate, Lara decides to become a surrogate mother for an Aesir warrior. She will spend a year on the planet trying to provide her genetic match an heir in return for a stipend and food sent to her family. When she meets arrives on Aesir, she is pleasantly surprised by how she is treated. Her quarters are the most luxurious she has ever seen. Food is plentiful and delicious. Even her chosen mate, Soren is kind and considerate. Lara may have a problem returning to Earth when her year is up.

Soren and other Aesir warriors agreed to some modifications to make them better warriors. Now the war is over but their modifications made them incompatible with most women. They are alphas and need an omega to breed with. Luckily Earth women can be universal breeders and some can easily made to be compatible with the warriors. Soren thought that this arrangement to pay human women to provide an heir would just be a business deal. Just one look at Lara proves him wrong. His feelings are so strong for Lara, he is wondering if a human could be his fated mate.

solid 4 🌟's for Soren!🔥💖

This was a pretty solid start to a new series. Siren is an alpha warrior who was altered to help keep his planet safe from invading foes. With the alteration to the warriors DNA it is impossible for them to have children until they can find their omega. Human females maybe the answer to his and his peoples prayers . in exchange for a human female to have a baby they will take care of all needs of any family she may leave behind for a year on earth. Lara, only 19 her parents are gone and her sister betrayed and left with beautiful baby to take care of. Food is scarce and so are jobs. Lara does the o KY thing she can think of she signs up for The intergalactic surrogacy program. When she's match with Soren she's thinks all she's need is to give him a child and return home in a year. What she discovers is a warrior who is willing to love, cherish and take care of her . as they both get to know one another both realize that there is more than a contract between them passion blazes but so does love . I enjoyed the characters they had a lot of chemistry and the world building was good but needed a bit more detail. I'm looking forward to the next book its a both Lara's sister and I'm excited to see more of how this world and storyline evolve .💖🔥🔥💖🔥💖💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖💖🔥💖

Somehow those with the toughest of exteriors seem to be the ones who have the softest hearts. Possibly why their walls got to be so tough in the first place. Soren has agreed to be part of the program which will match him to a human female so that his race can survive. He has a very deeply ingrained sense of honour and what is right and he notices many things are not entirely fair towards these new females. Things that go totally put of his head the second that he sees Lara. It's like he has no control any more all he wants is her. Lara has made a desperately difficult decision but it is not only for her but rather for her younger sister and niece. They are all that matter to her and if by being a surrogate they can no longer have to scrape by then so be it. The thing is she was expecting anything or rather everything other than Soren. Being told she'd be looked after is one thing to being shown affection outside of her family for the first time. She wants to be the one who can give him his dream but will it shatter hers at the same time.
Loved how compassionate Soren could be and how the difference in the cultures affected Lara. Great book and I hope there are many more in the series.

Plot to the book is Lara is worried about her sister and 2 year old niece, They're broke and almost out of food, So she decides to enter into a breeding program for a year, She supposed to be matched with an alpha alien warrior and breed with him to produce a baby and after she does that they will heavily reward her so that she doesn't have to worry about her baby niece starving she'll basically be set for life. But when the year is up will she be able to leave her baby with the warrior alien? Is it bad to say I wish we had pheromone treatment like in this book? I would love to have a shot that makes me feel 100 times better! The author created such a great and wonderful world in this book! I would love to live in a world like Aesir, It sounds absolutely beautiful there, I don't need the alpha warrior because I happily already have one who loves and cherishes me like Soren does Lara. I'm so excited to get started on Janie and Iris HEA! First of all I loved this story, I'm so glad that I found this author because she'll definitely be a one click buy from now on! Would I recommend this book? Heck to yeaaaah.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun, steamy read. Great world building and wonderful characters. Lara signs up to be a surrogate for an alien in order to get money to support her sister and niece. I really liked this world's reasoning for Aesir males needing human women for procreation. The warriors genetically enhanced themselves in order to fight off invaders and protect their people, but the downside made it very difficult to have children. The surrogate women are inoculated to be genetically compatible to have their babies- essentially to become omegas to the alien alphas. Soren knows the surrogates coming is only a business transaction and nothing more, but he scents Lara and his even before he saw her, and runs to claim her before his mind even decided to move. The determination in him was immediate, and a bit amusing given his initial thoughts. Great chemistry between these two. But the contact is only for one year, and then Lara will be returning home alone back to her family, leaving Soren and their baby behind. But is that what either of them want? An enjoyable read. I look forward to the next book in this series. 4 stars.

Lara and Soren . . .

Lara’s family was starving and she has no other options to help support them other than to sign up as a surrogate on another planet, Aesirheim. She will have a baby for Soren and then leave after a year. Lara is treated with a serum making her an omega to be compatible with the male. The physical part goes very well. But being close to each other, feelings are developing and neither seems happy at the idea of giving the other up at the end of the contract. Do they have any options about that? Will they tell each other about their hidden feelings?

The one thing that ruined this story for me is that I positively do not like kink or spanking themes. They are especially ludicrous in an alien sci-fi scenario with a powerful alien beating on a much smaller human, and it definitely ruins my enjoyment of the overall story. That is not love or pleasure – it is cruelty even if she somehow “likes” it, and I can’t understand the appeal. I actually felt betrayed when two likable characters started on that nonsense.

"Like I've been doused in sunshine after being cooped up in a dark room all day."

Lara knows she and her sister need help, and she'll do anything for her family... she's just hoping she truly understands what this contract is getting her in to.

Soren is a leader, a warrior, a man who can easily handle a one year mission, especially a simple one like providing for a woman and letting her know she is the center of his world. But the contract never mentioned his heart might get involved.

This done in one stand alone story is character driven, with the first half devoted to investing us in those characters as their relationship takes form. It is in the second half of the book that we begin to truly understand the emotional conflicts these characters face. Balancing their pasts with their present, and possible future, prioritizing their relationship without abandoning their families or friends, among other things.

I was gifted with a copy of this book and chose to share my thoughts.

Lara (h), desperate to provide food and money to support her younger sister and niece, signs up to travel to another planet, Aesirheim, be an alien surrogate for Soren (H). Like other males from his planet, Soren is now an alpha due to an experimental wartime serum - Lara is given a serum to make her an omega and biologically compatible with him. As soon as he scents her, Soren is drawn to Lara and the pair very quickly begin to get to know one another with lots of hot and steamy action. But as they get to know one another, both are secretly wondering what will happen at the end of the contract and if they'll be able to give one another up. Hot and steamy action throughout, with AO dynamic, heat, slick, spankings, edging, and more. Loved the MCs and their relationship - Soren was so lovely and I loved that he's not an alphahole, protective yes, a jerk, no.

I really enjoyed reading this book. Lara signed up for a surrogacy to an alien on another planet so her younger sister and niece would have food to eat. Her trip is for a year, but didn’t plan to fall in love with her alien man, Soren. Soren is delighted with Lara and soon discovers that she is his heart-mate. The only problem is that Lara is contracted for a year, Lara has to go home to earth after she gives birth to her baby.

When an accident happens on earth and she has to race back to be with her sister Janie, she is heartbroken when she has to leave Soren. Janie convinces Lara that she has to go back home to Soren and marry him but she won’t be going alone, Jenni is coming back with her and bringing her baby where they all live happily ever after.

Definite smut with min plot

I was thinking when I picked this up there would be more to the plot, however, the plot was sidelined in favor of the smut, I would say that it’s written ok, a few kinky parts but for the most part it felt like insta-love with mostly sexy times. It seemed kind of forced to bring in the sister for the climax (haha) of the story, like what else would set the MCs back? Anyway, I’d say this is for you if you want a quick read, a little relief from the heavy stuff (dark side of TT got me reeling!), and something a bit sexy. Rated low for plot and (for me) inability to really get into the whole story. Can’t complain about the editing or writing style, well done on that front.

Soren, the leader, and Lara, the selected surrogate through an alliance service are fated. It’s so well done from the beginning…they needed the time to realize it. Their passion was hot! Their feelings for each other developed so naturally and with strength. The added complexity with Lara’s family back on earth made it even better. Loved it.

Soren is an exciting insta-love book one in the Intergalactic Surrogacy Agency series! It is well written, engaging, entertaining, fast pace, emotionally deep, and steamy. Hot protective alien male seeking human breeding woman to help save his race. Only one problem, she turns out yo be his mate and she falls in love with him. Yet there's a contract that she goes back in earth after a year.
Hot, spicy, drama filled story of fated mates and love. Really good story to read.

Earth was running out of food, and conditions were harsh - all Lara wanted to do was help her sister and niece, even if that meant going to another planet for a year. But when she met Soren, things changed. Could she really leave Janie and Iris for ever?
Loved it!.

I enjoyed this sci-fi omegaverse romance. There was plenty of action and danger. The spicy scenes were spicy. The world building was competent and the hero was super growly, which was fun. I recommend this one as a good mental break.

Not usually an alien romance reader, but I have to say this book was cute. It was a leisurely read, the kind of got your heart racing in some parts of the book. Soren is every girl's wildest dream come true. I think I would have liked a more full version ending, though.

Good premise

This story had a good premise but I just wish it was more interesting. I liked the lack of conflict but these two didn't show much personality. This was a missed opportunity. Ok read.

Not really into the “ be what I want you to be and THEN I will be devoted to you” kind of relationship. Too shallow for me.

This was a decent story. Soren has been affected by a serum his planet used that turned the warriors into alphas. And he needs an omega mate to give him a child and continue their population. He is exactly what you expect of an alpha mate. Fiercely protective, amazing in bed and super attentive.

Unfortunately, I couldn't quite enjoy it as much as I wanted because I felt so bad and lonely for Lara. I really wish we had gotten a glimpse of her settling into life on a new planet. But she never really has any opportunity to interact with anyone but Soren.

She's punished for trying to speak to another of the human woman. And even though they have a huge area that is supposed to be only for Soren and Lara, she is not allowed outside the house alone. She has no connections or life outside him. But even in the epilogue it was just her and Soren and it feels like she has no purpose other than brood mare. Which seems like such a waste of a new planet and culture.
