The deadliest vampire in the city saved my life. Now pretending to love him is keeping us both alive.
Vampires spill blood—they don't save people. That's what I believed until Kasar rescued me.
The lethal enforcer pulled me out of my worst nightmare and made sure I survived my Rupture withdrawals, but the danger isn't over. I'm still in the line of fire, and if I want to survive, I need to do what I do best: solve the case.
The Nightshade Vampires' enemies are coming, and I'm the only one who can help track them down. But in a world of glitter and shine, the only way to get in is together. As a couple. Fulfilling the image they need us to be.
Pretending isn't the problem. It's remembering it's not real. Not when every look draws me deeper and every touch sets my body aflame.
We're from two different worlds, and it will never work. But the deeper I'm drawn into Kasar's life and his love, the more I wonder if I'll ever be able to leave it.
Vampire Enforcer is a paranormal mafia romance in the Nightshade Vampires series. It's a complete story with no cliffhanger. It's book 2 in the series, and while it can be read on its own, reading in order is always suggested.
I loved the first book as well, but there's something about Kasar and Deidras' relationship that got me all worked up. Lol I loved their chemistry but also what they had to go through together while they were both dealing with their addictions to Rapture. Kasar also opens up to Deidra about his past and I love that he reveals his real name to her 🥰😍😍. Honestly can't wait for the next book.
This is book two in the Nightshade Vampire series. I had no idea on the struggle Diedre was going through with the kidnapping and forced Rapture addiction. This book is like the duet to book one which is the King Ambrose and Eloise story. The bad guys are horrible. Kasar, who is the Lion for Ambrose, recovers Diedre only to find her severely injured and drugged out her mind. The bad guys used her as a test subject because Diedre was writing an expose on the supernatural drug rapture. The bad guys want rapture for themselves. Add on another challenging level to this story Kasar has a history with rapture due to his maker’s treatment. The story is not for the faint of heart but it does bring some light into Kasar’s dark world. There are triggers based upon the mafia based storyline. Read On!
The lion and the abductee. We continue the saga with Kasar and Deidre. Held captive, made addicted to an altered version of Rapture, Deidre has to fight hard to stay lucid as she battles withdrawal and the spikes of lust that are a side effect. Kasar has to fight his own internal battle as Deidre wakes up his mating instinct. Together they set out to find who kidnapped her and who's bringing in the altered/deadly Rapture. It's a fast paced ride, emotional, horny and brutal. Oh and a bit of pay back, such sweet pay back! If you enjoyed The Vampire King then this will captivate just as much, if not more so.
Ok, so I guess I read book 2 first. I will say this...I think the storyline was sort of there. The "instant" romance was a little too quick. This could have been a great book, but here is my biggest issue with self-published books. There were so many grammatical errors in this book, it was hard to read at times; everything from misspelled words to an entire sentence making zero sense. Also, when writing a book about romance/supernaturals/etc., there has to be dialogue. This book was 10% dialogue and 90% story. Again, I wanted to like this book because I love a good vampire romance, but this was not it!
Book:Vampires Enforcer Read By: Ebook Author: Rowan Hart Genre: Fantasy Romance Recommend: Yes Spice:🌶️️🌶️️🌶️️ < b>Age recommendation: 18-30+ Years My feelings:
I grabbed this on stuff your kindle day. Im very glad that I did. It had a-lot of spice, and a-lot of action. I freaking loved it.
“When will it stop hurting when will the universe finally take enough to be satisfied and leave me the hell alone”
What is it about hundred of years old vampire, and a damsel in distress that just draws me…. Cause im still wondering why myself.
’I never want to spend a single day again without you in it if you die I will follow you to the next world and the one after “
Kasir had my attention from the second he showed up. He is the type that gets the motor running! Hot dam I need me a Kasir. I read this series out of order but I don't care. I ended up grabbing the whole series.
“I might have rescued Deirdre from captivity but she saved me from the dark she's my future my home my mate “.
Highly recommend

4 stars Who doesn't love a bad-boy vampire who loves his lady so sweetly?
Kasar is Vampire King Ambrose's enforcer. Ruthless, dangerous, violent, and downright deadly, he's a force to be reckoned with. When he rescues Deidre—who had been turned into an addict and was on the brink of death—his softer side emerges. Known for his barbarism in enforcing vampire law, Kasar tenderly and patiently nurses Deidre back to health.
I absolutely loved the interactions between Kasar and Deidre. I'm looking forward to catching glimpses of them in future books!
This is the second book in the nightshade vampire series. I personally didn't like it as much as the first one. Kasar rescued Deidre from a bad situation where she was forced to take a drug called Rapture. The first half of the book was him helping her to get it out of her system and fight through withdrawals. Then they are on a mission to help figure out who did this to her. The chemistry between the two was hottt 🥵. This book runs parallel to the first book in the series so you can see what Deidre was going through from this point of view. Either way, I still enjoyed it, it just wasn't my favorite.
I lovely surprise. I was expecting a cheesy shifter romance and got a very well written romantic suspense extremely well done!
Note that this has dark themes, namely drugs and the on page detox. This subject was approached with great care and seriousness, which I loved. it was so well written that I almost felt what she was feeling.
I loved the characters!!! The FMC is the real strong woman without brattiness or immaturity. The MMC was the most crazy alpha cinnamon roll.
Finally, the smut was hot and the tension/chemistry between them was off the charts!
I like this story more than the first book. This couple was a different flavor from Eloise x Ambrose. Both Deidre and Kasar were tortured souls who came together and healed each other. Yes, a little more plot and substance than the first book. I do like how each vampire in the clan had their own personality and I would totally work through the series to find out all their stories.
Spice scale (as defined by Mysterious Galaxy): 🔥🔥🔥🔥 [Grab a fan because it’s getting hot in here!]
This was better than book 1. Almost like book one is just the prologue to this one, as I definitely would not define this as a standalone. The worldbuilding is super interesting, and I love the world that's been created.
Again, I wish we had more time once they like- HEA in a sense. Hard to explain without giving away spoilers. Loved the dynamic between the mmc and the fmc. Glad I picked this one up.
Okay, for me, this wasn’t as good as the first book. The FMC was okay, but I didn’t really connect with her and maybe because most of the book she was fighting the forced addiction. There wasn’t really that insta obsessed thing going with them either. The pace wasn’t as good...an the ending left some unanswered questions about what is she. Still a good read.
This is a great series. This book runs parallel with the 1 st one, so you get to see what the roommate goes thru. I am looking forward to the next book in the lineup as Lan being depicted as the anti-social, sociopath. I feel like there is a whole lot more to him.
You never know what will lead to love. But the rescue of a kidnapped woman who was being forced feeds a highly addictive drug. Led to the redemption of Vampire who did care if lived or died.
This series gets better with each story 😃. Non-stop action, intense situations, nasty bad things, sexy scenes and awesome characters 😄. Thanks again Rowan, I look forward to reading all your stories 🤓.
I picked these up on a whim. I absolutely Love you this series. I have gone through all of the emotions reading these.... Anger, fear, love, enticement, grief and laughter. Cannot wait for the next one to come out.
I enjoyed this story. Deidre and Kasar are good characters. Kasar carries a lot of guilt. Deidre is a reporter who goes undercover for a story. Lots of action. There are steamy scenes. Deidre is strong. I like the justice they mete out to the villain.
I am reading this series backwards.......I wanted to see if it would make a difference...In this case yes and no. It like learning about the past, one link at a time. A good read.
I love the historical references, how people and the drama and greed never change. Some learn and do better others not so much. I look forward to the continuation of this clan’s challenges.
I like hearing things from Derdrie 's perspective of events and learning more about her and Kasar. There is a lot more to the enforcer than he allows the world to see. The story flowed well between POV's. And it is very hard to put down once you get started!!
Another good addition to this series of books. Good characters and plot along with good twists and turns plus action and suspense. Keeps your attention. A very enjoyable book.
VAMPIRES AND SMUT. An amazing book. I read this book and the first book in 48 hours. This author is phenomenal. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better it did. I was worried because of it being characters from the first book; but not the main characters, that it would feel repetitive but it didn't and was a completely new story. Currently (3/30/24) on KindleUnlimited and highly highly recommend.
This woman is it for him. It just took a bit for them to get on the same page, plus she was drugged. He had Ty o free her from the Rapture which was killing her. It may even accomplish her death.
I do love a good book with vampires and this definitely didn't disappoint I'd for sure read book 1 first so you can get grips but I doubt it would matter if you didn't read them order loved it just as the first onto thw third
From the first page, to the last word, this story Hold You Tight and Doesn't let go!!! From different realities but Love and Destiny brings Lives together. I enjoyed this book SO VERY MUCH!!
I love when a series keeps all the characters going and this is a good one. I’m not much for all the description writing but the action was worth reading.
I loved this book, usually sequels are pretty hit or miss for me but this one definitely hit!
I think I might love Kasar and Deidre more than Ambrose and Eloise! I love the switch from fake/pretend relationship to actual “I’ll kill anyone that hurts you”. The chemistry between the two of them was amazing. One of the only things I do wish we got was to see more of Ambrose and Eloise but it’s fine I’ll survive 😂.
Also I’m glad we got a bit more of a resolution to the Rapture issue, it’ll be interesting to see how we transition into Lan’s storyline.
