This revivifying collection of poetry and prose, weaved amongst narrative, will leave you dusted in a sheen of empowerment as you travel with the protagonist to an ethereal a place where she learns how to love herself, understand her emotions, and begin healing from past trauma that she experienced in a place far from the meadow landscape, reality.
This book will bring comfort to you in moments of wilting and bolster you to bloom when you are ready to flourish.
Cocoons can keep you safe and offer you a place of rest when life seems too hectic to stand in the sun. But why don’t you try something different? Don’t be shy, dearest butterfly, and coax yourself out into the light.
Libby began writing poetry in her teenage years as a therapeutic outlet. Overtime, her painful retellings blossomed into hope-induced prose, so she created an online presence to cultivate an empowered community of readers. She has since graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing, self-published a poetry series called ‘Seasons of Self’, and has integrated her love for books into her social platforms. Libby is an avid reader of fantasy and Greek mythology, a lover of cats, and finds creative inspiration woven within the natural world.

I expected this to be more poetry! But libby surprised me with prose, I really enjoyed having a “guide” through the book. The vivid imagery and all the flowers and colours make this book so so worth the read I’ve never really enjoyed books that talk about self love and the magic that comes from it, but I think this book changed my mind. Now I just want to be free and happy and live life in colour, such an amazing little book
Fitting and most powerful to, what I imagine, is quite a specific, defined audience, Libbys book is more than a collection of words. A bold debut, it invites readers to join her in this image rich garden/forest that evoked a sort of childhood, fairytale ethereal feel, as if - while discussing sensitive and anxious subjects - you remain singing and picking flowers. A kind of angelic and spiritual experience, really fascinating to blend that nearly fictional element to personal poetry. Nice change.
A stunningly beautiful collection of poetry! The themes of growth and learning and self love and blooming woven through this book will resonate with every woman who comes across Libby’s raw and vulnerable words. Definitely something I will come back to time and time again 5/5
