This book is an excellent primer on emotional wellness before and after explant. There are exercises and lots of self-dialogue and reflection which help the reader move into different phases of healing. Every woman's path is unique and individualistic, and this book allows you to feel as though you are walking on your own personalized path to acceptance and wellness.

This is certainly in a class all by itself. It's deep, and transformative. It asks all of you, so it can give you something back that is meaningful and worthwhile. Take a bite at a time. Don't rush it. Let each page plant its own tiny garden. Stock up on tissue and prepare to put in some work. Some work is gently removing the layers, leaving through the guilt, letting go of the hurt, forgiving yourself and those who let you down. It's processing your shame, anger, and resentments, and all the other clutter that is so hard to let go of when we feel we are the source of blame. Yet you'll learn there's no blame. No judgement.

I promise you, at the end of this, you'll read it again. You'll want to.
