Is Snowflake becoming a commodity when anyone can start its own version for free?

Well, that's highly unlikely in the nearest term. However, Snowflake is so expensive and likes to charge for resources you didn't ask for that I'd love this to happen.

Despite my overall resentment to the platform, the book is great. Built on strong platform, sharing all the best patterns, amazing actually working examples on Github. Probably, the only book you'll ever need to read about Snowflake in the age of AI.

tbh, a bit meh for the already upper-intermediate users. We've read this with our DE team together and was not mindblown besides couple of nice tips. Skipped some chapters totally. Might be fine for the users who are totally stranger to snowflake.
