Ivan Richards is a man that has everything his money can buy. He's also a man of few words and even fewer relationships he is more of a stick-and-move type of man especially after learning that everyone has an agenda and if you let them get close, you get hurt. He is content with an occasional stick and moves even after watching his brother fall in love, making him determined to not fall. Being hurt by the one woman he gave his heart to love is just another word in the English dictionary.
Samantha ‘Stormy’ Michaels isn’t opposed to finding the love she just wants love from a man that doesn’t try to change who she is. Being one of the top trainers for the NBA, she was consistently bombarded with offers from men, wealthy men. All of them try to entice her to be a stay-at-home wife and have her every want within reach. The problem is she loves her job just as much as she loves the game of basketball itself.
Two highly driven and determined people end up working together when they never expected to see each other beyond an occasional wave at the gym and change their opinions about everything they thought they knew and their lives.

Met his match
3.75 stars
I knew Ivan was going to be a mess and he didn't disappoint. Ivan, the self proclaimed playa for life fell head over heels for a woman he barely knew. Ivan had his eyes on Stormy, but after actually interacting with her he knew she was different. Stormy was very different from the birds he normally entertained. She was a trainer for the NBA, and was mean on the court herself. She still maintained a feminine yet chill aura and Ivan wanted all the smoke. I couldn't believe they went from 0 to 60 and ended up together and it was all over the blogs. Despite it being quick Ivan seemed happy to be with her. The whole situation with Stormy's brother threw me for a loop. Like how one minute you and your brother are tight and in the next minute your loyalty has shifted to Ivan. I side eyed that storyline heavily. These stories have some unrealistic pieces, but it is fiction so there is that. This whole mob and craziness with the NBA board felt like it could've been written better because it was giving yeah right.
Overall, the author has done a good job peaking my interest in her characters enough to make me keep reading.
I am very interested in AJ's story.

A little too much for no reason
OK, so I really wanted to like this book, all of the characters featured in this story got on my last nerve. For one thing, why was Ivan so over the top about everything? In fact, Isreal and all of their friends were too! When Stormy and Ivan talked in the gym, he was super aggressive and vulgar for a first conversation. I guess that’s a turn on for some women, but it was too much and unrealistic in my opinion.
This one was frustrating cause I wanted to like it, but it just didn’t do it for me at all.

Such a good book. I love laughing at the foolery of Ivan. He definitely met his match with Stormy. Ready for Poppy. We saw he is not wrapped too tight. I will read about Dice and Diamond while I impatiently wait for the next book 😌

I see you Ivan Richards! Wasn't sure what to expect with this one, as Ivan was such a wild card in Israel's story! But, we got to see him go from angry and untrusting of women, to being enamored with Stormy in .25 seconds! He instantly felt that she was different, and someone that would be in his life, in an important capacity. Ivan was so much more than meets the eye. Yes, he has a ratchet mouth, and his gun on the ready, but he is also smart and loving. Stormy aka Peppy is a woman about her business! Being a beautiful woman, who can ball, and is also trainer for the NBA makes her a triple threat! It also brings out men who think they can try her gangsta, and she rips them to shreds every time!😂 But, with Ivan she was instantly in lust with this sexy man, and didn't know what to do with those feelings. These two were hilarious together with their banter. Okay, what was up with eating edibles like candy, and making life changing decisions like that? Well, too bad cause Ivan was like naw, it is what it is and we gone make it work! 😂 What the hell is up with AJ to make him go and do that to Andrea? I feel there is more to him, to make him just go off the rails like that. I hope he gets a story soon. Andrea! When you met Poppi, he told you the type of man he was, and you stayed. Then you run away withholding a secret like that? Gurl, that man is coming for you, believe that! I'm sure it won't be pretty when he does! Glad that we were able to catch up with Israel and Angel, to see their love still alive and well. Anxiously awaiting the next read. Good job! 👍👍👍

Queen Toy is apart of my new author vibe for 2022. I feel in love with Ivan while reading his brothers book "A Billionaires Angel". He was such an a**hole but, so lovable at the same time, lol. I was so excited he had his own book and I didn't have to wait to read it. This book had so much potential but, it was sooo much going on that I honestly couldn't tell if the book was about love or the mob. It just felt rushed and all over the place.
Despite our all in still a fan and I'm looking forward to reading Poppi & Andrea's story cause sis was bogus asf for going dang near her while pregnancy and not tell him about it🙄😒😡.

This book was hilarious. Dice and Israel had me cracking up and when Poppi popped up on the scene I was like oh yes, we need more of him.
AJ was such a damn fool but hopefully he gets it together.
Ivan and Stormy's relationship was so cute and funny. I wasn't expecting the progression to go the way it did but it had me laughing and wanting more.
I definitely want to go back and read Israel and Angel's books and I can't wait for Poppi and Andrea's story.

Disappointed
This book started out strong and had so much potential, but somewhere in the middle it starts going downhill fast. The “drama” seemed very far fetched, as did the interactions between all of the characters. Although this was a short read, this booked lacked character development many parts were rushed. None of the male characters were book baes. I believe the author may have been going for the alpha male vibe, but instead the characters were downright disrespectful. They only really seemed to care about sex which in turn made the female characters seem stupid for falling for these dudes. I definitely would not be interested in reading any other parts of this series. This just was not my cup of tea.

He Finally Met His Match!!
Nayla Jackson made it hard for Ivan to love or care about anyone. Like Ivan said Cee- Cee was the closest thing he had to a relationship. He wined and dined them, but by the end of the night everbody knew what it was. Stormy intrigued him. He teased about her gray patch in her hair.She gave as good as she got. He was low-key stalking her. When they combine edibles and liquor anything is bound to happen. Stormy crazy self was says let's get married while hiding out from the mob. Her brother wasn't happy and neither was Carmichael because he was in love with her. AJ was letting his jealous ways get the best of him. All him Andrea did was kiss and debate about whose the best rapper Tupac or Biggie. Once Andrea went back into the room with Poppi ain't no turning back. It was good they closed the deal on the N.B.A team. Stormy and Andrea is pregnant at same AJ took it upon himself and called Poppi. I'm looking forward to reading about Andrea and Poppi.

OMG Ivan is a hoot and he played no games! Stormy is an independent woman, and full of heart because she will put everyone feelings above her own! When she and Ivan collided sparks flied and it was on and popping from there to insta-love!
It was awesome to see the other couples and watch Ivan do a 360 regarding being in a relationship! I thought maybe Ivan would have seen his ex because she did a number on him making him a hit it and quit kind of guy just to find some closure, because he had a demon riding his back on how he felt about their situation!
I wonder if AJ will get a book because he was portrayed different in this book and his actions were disappointing and he got himself in a pickle hmmmm!

I loved this standalone! Ivan and Stormy were perfect for each other. Stormy was a strong independent woman, but being with Ivan had her feeling real giddy and he accepted her for being herself. Stormy knew enough to let Ivan lead as well. Ivan was serious about Stormy, he let Stormy brother know what was up as well, he didn't play about Stormy! AJ need a woman maybe in the next book it will happen. Poppi and Andrea were a whole vibe, she's running but Poppi let it be known he would find her, I'm looking forward to their story and seeing the rest of the group. Love seeing Dice in the story as well.

I liked Stormy from the first introduction. The author did a great job of describing Stormy's job, her basketball skills, and the whole NBA issue. I felt like I was in the basketball world. Mr. Richards surprised me in this book, but I was happy for him. I expected Israel to give Ivan more of a hassle due to payback for how Ivan treated Israel when Israel got married. The issue with AJ, Andrea, and Poppy was wild. I'm looking forward to the next spin-off.

Because of the limited number of pages the story was accelerated. Thus the feeling of "not in real time". The plot could definitely be a movie, more pages and/or structure to give a natural progression would have made this much better. The intimate scenes also need more imagery and not feel like build up and its over..don't be shy share all the naughty dets.

Interesting story
Okay. I liked Mr. Richards and his crew. Black men with money and power are sexy as all get out! I really appreciated the way the story pulled the streetwise entrepreneurs with the NFL powers and outshined them in the head-to-head challenge. I wish there had been a little more with Mr. and Mrs. Richards to flesh out their relationship a little more. Overall, I liked their story. 3.75 stars....

Whew, Chile. The Richards and their associates are wild
Those brothers are wild, and as soon as Poppi was introduced I needed his spin-off. It was a standalone, but I would have read this as a series. They went from playing the field to obsessed with their women, or shall I say wives 😂, in no time. Now, I have to go back and read about the first brother. I haven’t wrote a review in a while. This book kicked me out of a rut. It was definitely entertaining.

When You Know You Know!
Toy, I think I loved Ivan and Stormy the best. I love all of them but for Ivan to get got was the best. True form though Ivan didn't even question his situation at all, he just said what he meant and meant what he said. Stormy also was in her own lane had her stuff going on and surprised herself how everything that was going wrong around them their world was right🤗🤗🤗🤗

This book was really good! I thought my favorite Richards brother was Israel (from A Billionaire’s Angel 1&2), but Ivan has showed up and taken over. I loved his energy. His and Poppi’s lol. This was a quick, delectable read but it was nice to see some of the old characters as well as meet some new ones.
Toy is an excellent writer. I find myself hanging on to every word she’s written. I can’t wait to read more from her! Highly recommend this book!

Ivan was a fool. I loved the fact that Samantha and Ivan found love in each other. Sam is just as crazy for putting up with Ivan. AJ was wrong for how he did Andrea. I thought her and AJ would be a couple but I love how Poppi step in. Izz and Angel were still my favorite. This was a great read.....

This was a quick read and we get caught up with Angel and Izz... also I'm looking forward to Poppi...yes Poppi all day book bae. I digress the book was a bit to wordy with some stuff that was not needed and the then it was over... I get the story was to address more than the love but it would have been nice to get more.

Who knew Ivan Richards was a romantic. Didn’t see this plot twist happening-his marriage to Stormy. Love his sense of humour and his way with words.
The mob sub plot was ridiculous and unnecessary. I think it would have been a better story without it. It felt like an after thought. Just my opinion. Looking forward to reading Poppi and Andrea’s story

Ivan and Stormy are Crazy
This book was cool but Ivan’s character seemed to be a little off compared to the other books he was in. I dunno maybe I’m tripping. I wish there was more character development for Stormy. They just kind of dropped her and and made her a love interest. Overall it was good read, not great but good.

I really enjoyed Ivan’s and Stormy’s love story. Stormy was a hot head to everyone except Ivan. She loved how he took control. Remind me to never eat the edibles in Vegas😂🤣😂😂 Poor AJ, I think he really likes Andrea, but he didn’t appreciate a good woman. He wanted to play.

Some members of the mob need to realize this isn't the old world it's the new one. Victor uncle got what he deserved. I was hoping the niece did too. Carmichael was wrong for putting Stormy in that situation but Ivan came to her rescue. Now I'm onto Poppi and Andrea story

I’m liking Stormy and Ivan together. She’s definitely different from the woman that I would’ve imagined him falling for but she was just what he needed to match his smart mouth. I can’t wait to see what they’re having and what happens next with Poppi and Andrea. AJ needs his own book too with his snitching self.

This is a must read. Once I started I couldn't put this book down. The characters in this book just jump right off the page. Don't pass this book up. I guarantee you will love it. Toy you're fabulous 🥰.
