I wonder how he’d feel about me seducing my new stepbrother and his pack… Ha!
If you want to read about a vampire stalking/jointing a paranormal pack and all of them having a lot of spicy times together, then this novella is for you. I enjoyed this overall, but I will say whole the step sister title is accurate, I don’t feel the step sister trope was played up enough to make this the title, so if you want a plot heavy in that taboo you won’t really get it I feel. To me this is more about an established pack of wolves expanding their horizons romantically and in the bedroom because a vampire/demon hybrid joins them.
I will say I loved the dynamics between all the pack members. Nora and Devin were probably my fave, but admittedly I would have loved more NoraCarson moments in happier times.
All in all this is a good read if you’re looking for high spice and medium plot. Sometimes that’s exactly what I need, so this provided.

Breaking into the pack
Ok very smutty, the single scenes and group scenes very steamy! But this is what happens when a stalker finally gets to be in the group. There are some confusing parts like how Cupid coming after Carter has something happen- how did that mean they could trust Nora? Well still a good read.

Did I still eat it up? Yes
If you’re looking for a spicy novella that gets straight to the smut I’d definitely suggest this. It has a lot of different kinks and relationships in it so it was very interesting to read about all the different connections they all had with each other!
The main premise of the book was really interesting too and I don’t think I’ve read anything similar.
I will say often the times jumps could have been smoother and it often felt as though I was missing out on certain scenes as a reader but apart from that I really enjoyed it.

This has got to be one of these spiciest, smuttiest PNR books I’ve ever read. Bi guys really are the best and this takes that to a hundred. The story title would have you thinking this story is about Nora but it really isn’t, not even the parts that are about Nora. This is smex every few pages combines with fated mates, and pack bonds. So it basically like book trail mix. This is a new to me author and if this is the kind of heat she’s packing, I need more!

You could feel the heat coming off this book! One hot scene after another just gah! So good! The dynamic between the characters I just ate up. Amazing one handed read 😉
I love groveling scenarios, so this just really hit the spot. I didn't want the story between them to end. Nora was just what this pack needed to shake things up.

This review I’m really gonna take my time cause this book was one of the best books I’ve this year and I read a lot of good books this year there’s also been very few books where I fell in love with every single one of the characters but Griffan, Devin, Nora Theo, Carson and ash I’m literally obsessed with all of them this is a book i couldn’t put down and a book i would reread the very next day i literally canceled all my classes to read it the whole day it was absolutely a five star read and I’m so glad and happy she wrote this

This was the perfect spooky season novella and really solidified the fact that I need to read more pnr romances 🖤
I adored these characters and seeing all the different dynamics between the pack. There was so much variety and everyone had their own special bonds which I loved! Group activities are always fun and we got a bunch of different pairings but that one scene with all six of them was a true work of art ✨😂
Nora our vampire queen was perfection. Devin the pack princess finally got to be with the pack in the way she truly craved. Nora really bought her out of her shell and it was beautiful to see. Theo was adorable! Carson calling him pup and Griffin calling him little wolf killed me 🥹 (my Klaus Mikaelson heart!) Griff our extroverted prince, always the life of the party. Carson… goddamn sir. He was something else! And finally our alpha king Ash, I wish we got more of him 🥲 One thing I will say: Ash + Carson + the woods… good lord it was everything 😮💨 It also served as the perfect reminder that primal play is elite and I need more in my life asap!
Honestly you can never go wrong picking up a K.L. Mann book! Always guaranteed top tier spice, incredible relationships and all the found family vibes, what more could you want?! 🤍

why was this so good?
I didn’t know what I was getting into when I decided to read this book and boy was I SURPRISED. obviously I was surprised in a good way because I’m giving it 4 stars.
October is all about monsters so when I saw that the tile had the word vampire in it, I knew I had to read it. This was a ‘why choose’ smut heaven for me. Obviously there was plot but definitely a whole lot of smut that definitely had me fanning myself.
I loved the relationship the characters had with each other as well as a pack. Getting to see all the different interactions and their thoughts in a way felt like I was actually there witnessing it (not the smutty bits) but the relationship wise and how they act around each other and how they feel about each other and how they came to be a pack. Getting little glimpses of their past lives and who their families were.
I am excited for another book in the Moonlight University universe

4.9 stars, 4.7 on my spice scale. K.L. Mann always knows what we want, and boy did she give it to us. -1 point just because I wanted more from Devin. Also, I wish it was so much longer because I will miss them:(. Overall, this book has everything you will ever want in a book. I can't wait for her next release!

I can't even put into words how much I loved this novella. I will say this though, carson black is my absolute favorite ever💗 him with theo who are literally soulmates i mean holy shit, him with ash, him with devin, him with nora- he even gave her a fucking russian pet name. he is so sweet and caring and broody and absolutely perfect in every way, even when he isn't. and not to make him the center of attention, but he is and I am because omg I'm literally so in love with him.

Every single time Kassie comes out with a book, it’s always something new for me that I haven’t read before and that’s why I absolutely adore her and her writing.
This was pure smut, so much group scenes, I adored it.
Despite this being a novella, K.L. Mann never skips out on details that you will want. She never leaves you hanging when you have questions you aren’t sure will be answered or not. They usually are.
But she will always leave you wanting so much more from her 🥵🥵🥵🥵 characters.
I won’t spoil anything, but if you’re thinking about reading this one.. just do it!

{Overall Thoughts} Ooo what a ride. I adored this book. The characters were so much fun to read, each had their own strong personality that shined. I made a bet long before this release that Griffin and Nora would be my favorite and I was right! Everything about these 2 was addictive. The pack dynamic was great and I feel that Nora fit in with them well. Now, I won’t lie, was this book mostly just smüt? Hell yeah. And it was fun to read regardless! I ate up every second of it. I’m a sucker for a spicy little Halloween novella, what can I say 🤷🏻♀️

This was my first read by this author and the storyline definitely has me intrigued and wanting to know more about their non-novella stories with what they were able to pack into this novella. I did feel it was disjointed for me, I think because there was so much to include so that's why I rounded down the 3.5 stars to a 3 on here.
I thought some things I normally like with an almost omega like dynamic (little different with the luna in this story) is the building up of relationship and their first times and this jumped so many things and just did mentions on some. It also was deceiving with a play on the stepsister trope and that had one page mention in the grand scheme of things. I also felt some things were explained or maybe they were from the previous series this was a spinoff of? I am not sure as this was my first by them.
Now things I did like...I loved how everyone was up for grabs love is love and all that sexy goodness. I loved the different personalities and what they brought to the table. Theo was my absolute favorite with Griffin and Ash a close second. I was very confused by Carson and didn't think the resolution all made sense with Cupid and all that. I liked the different play on kinks (degradation a little, bratty subs and Daddy doms haha. Loved the alphas and the ferocity/primal play for sure). I enjoyed the cameos from the other characters and the ending with their presents made me giggle so hard. I definitely am interested in this world and reading more by this author I just wish this author expanded this into a normal sized book to give some of these transitions from extra space so it was so disjointed. I loved Devin and her coming into her own. I did think bringing Nora in was like instant boom we talk about our feelings haha. And the instant lust was off to me when they were fated mates but again semantics haha.
Sexy scenes were yummy, loved the play on alphas and betas and the ladies in this pack. Loved how some broke the normal types for alphas and betas. I enjoyed their focuses on school too, so cute. Again this was a 3.5 stars and I would have rounded up to a 4 if some things were like skipped over/behind the scenes (some that would have been my favorite moments I bet).

If you're looking for a spicy halloween novella then this is definitely one to read! I don't read many paranormal romances but I have been hooked on this book since the blurb was released!
This story revolves around a pack of 5 werewolves and a vampire that is obsessed with them. There are so many different couple dynamics in this story and each of them are so different from each other but they all blend so well!! One of my favourite couples was Carson and Theo! These guys had my heart throughout and honestly they gave me all the butterflies.
This novella is pure smut and I am here for it! The story was good and I loved seeing the different relationships develop and grow throughout. I wish there was a bit more of the actual story as I feel like more parts could have been developed on, but that's just me wishing that I got more of this group!
This novella was a great way for me to break up the longer books that I've been reading, but now all I want to do is read the stories from the Tombstone University series!!

Holy shit!!! I finished this book yesterday I am stl thinking about it. I can't get this novella or these characters out of my head!
Nora is a vampire hybrid and she has been watching Carson and his pack for a year. She has felt really drawn to him and his pack and feels like she already belongs. When Nora comes to a visit she is not very welcome by her stepbrother, he is ready to throw her out as soon as she walks in the door.
I literally don't even have enough words to describe how much I love this novella. I loved everyone that was in the pack because they were so different and their personalities were so different that they all fit so well together.
Nora finds Devin sleeping up in her room because they were trying to hide her from Nora because she is a Luna and they are very special to the packs. Devin finds herself immediately drawn to Nora.
The spicy scenes in this novella holy shit they were spicy! I could not put this down once I started reading this because I needed to know what was going to happen next.

Griffin is hilarious don’t tell the rest of them I said this but he might be my favorite hehe. Ash thy alpha, he definitely loved and protected the hardest because of the role he had. Carson meanie guy, definitely didn’t show it at times but also loved and protected hard!! Devin was a little princess everybody protected her. And Nora…. Little she devil getting her way.

• {ᴏᴠᴇʀᴀʟʟ ᴛʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛs} My girl has DONE IT AGAIN!! I literally love her and her books so much. Her writing style always gets me so into the book!! I know that if she were to ever write a really long book she would eat that UP, like I need more. These characters are always so interesting and we(I) NEED MORE. Her plots are also always so interesting, I’ve been stalking my step brothers pack for awhile now it’s time to finally meet them but I didn’t realize that I would never want to leave them after….. LIKE DAMN, take my money.
• {ᴄʜᴀʀᴀᴄᴛᴇʀs} In this book we got introduced to a couple characters, Theo, Griffin, Ash, Carson, Devin, & Nora. Theo my submissive Pack lover, everybody loves him including me. Griffin is hilarious don’t tell the rest of them I said this but he might be my favorite hehe. Ash thy alpha, he definitely loved and protected the hardest because of the role he had. Carson meanie guy, definitely didn’t show it at times but also loved and protected hard!! Devin was a little princess everybody protected her. And Nora…. Little she devil getting her way.

DAMN this was SPICY 🥵
Nora is our FMC, a vampire and also the new step sister to Ash.
Ash and his pack attend Moonlight University, they are outcasts to the outside world's werewolf population, but are well respected amongst the beings at Moonlight University.
Nora wants a family to call her own and believes she can have that with Ash's pack.
This novella is full of smut, it was hot as hell, mm scenes, ff scenes, mmf, mfm, alllll the smutty scenes you can think of - make sure you check TWs as it gets a bit... bloody in some parts 👀
I did really enjoy the smut and the interactions of the pack, I didn't give this a full five stars though because I wish there was more build up in between the pack meeting Nora, and their first spicy scene, as well as wanting a little more background to the characters stories.

I loved this novella, AND it's just in time for Halloween!!
These characters sucked me in and had me wanting to join their pack from the first chapter! My Step Sister is A Vampire is all out smut and woooooo is it spicy! I mean, wow! The whole book = SMUT! Every character gets with one another and K. L Mann does not skip on the details. The interactions are all different between the characters so I never felt bored or like the story was repetitive. If you are looking for a super smutty halloween novella, this one is for you besties!

So first off I do want to say that I really did enjoy this short read. I love PNR , and the vampire shifter pack vibes are *chefs issue* . It is a perfect little Halloween read. I do have one issue and this is actually a pet peeve of mine in poly-relationship closed groups. That is when one couples relationship takes precedent above the rest and that seemed to happen here, close to the end. Which really threw me off balance and kinda made the whole pack relationship feel off balance to me. I also really dislike Carson 🥺.

Enjoyed this novella for what it was. Loved all the smut lol, and there was some kind of sex I think in every chapter.
I felt like it was a romance book within a romance book tho. I didn’t like the fact that Carson and Theo had their own soulmate bond. I felt like that took away from the “why choose” aspect of the book. Don’t get me wrong everybody was having sex with everybody, but their sexual dynamic was completely different from everybody else’s. Their love felt totally separate from the pack’s which ruined the experience for me.

4.75 ⭐️ this was delicious! I loved every second and I so badly want to be part of this pack😩🐺🧛♀️. The way the bonds in this pack was mixed with the bond they created with our vampire Nora who I was obsessed with! I was swooning for all them- the way they spoke to eachother was beautiful- so connected, romantic, sweet, charming, flirtatious and push and pull, banter, protectiveness, and so much spicy spice oh chefs kiss. 😙😘🐺🧛♀️🥵🔥💦

This book y’all…so spicy like attitude wise and sexually! Can I say that last word!? Oh well, here I am! Each character had such depth and personality that they all were relatable in some aspect. They were all individually different, but it worked and is why they made the perfect wolf pack along with their little fanged addition to the family. The whole time I was laughing or awww’ing or oooohhh’ing or even blushing lol I enjoyed every bit of this novella and highly recommend it!

I forgot how much I loved interconnected poly/why choose relationships. I liked the difference in dynamic between each of the character's relationships. I was a little heartbroken when Nora was sent away, but I understand that the relationship between her and Carson never would have worked without some massive upheaval/big reveal.
