For the first time in twenty-three years I loved, hard. I gave her my all knowing I could lose everything. I knew I should leave her alone. Mercy is seventeen years younger than me and my son's best friend. Still, I couldn't stay away. I had to risk it all. I never considered the greatest danger would be to her not to me. Now she's gone. Vanished. I know who has her. Only one thing matters now...

Finding Mercy.

I hate talking about myself. I'm awkward AF and write super spicy books with twisty plots. Most of my books are dark romance so always check the content warnings!

Nothing that's worth while is easy. Only the best things are complicated. You can always guarantee that something good will come out of something bad. This story is marred with tragic happenings. Liam lost Mercy and it literally crushed me. I'm so invested into their relationship. What will he do to get her back? Liam understands it's a big risk but to live means to take risks.

Not sure I really finished it I skimmed it. I have to say for an older gentleman he has some kind of stamina. Mercy is very childish and I wish he would have found someone better. I’m not reading the third book yuk

Thank you Chelle for sending me a copy of this book to read and review.

This is the second book in the series and I was eager to get into it from the cliff hanger book 1 left us on.

We literally pick up where we left off only Mercy's dad is bailing Laim out of jail for something he never did. (phew)

SO mercy has been kidnapped by Liams son Nash, who is addicted to drugs and gone off the deep end. Laim is desperate to find her and make sure she is okay. Mercy's dad is s cop and gets info which leads them to finding Mercy and literally just saving her from being raped.

When tehy find her Mercy tells Liam to leave her alone and she never wants to see him which only leads to a whole host of days and weeks, months of them being apart. Liam loves mercy so much that he is willing to do as she asked and leave her alone. He doesn't want to hurt her after what his son did to her. he feels and takes the guilt doing what e thinks right even if it hurts himself.

Mercy manages to come through her trauma but knows apart of her life is missing and who that part is. She knows she pushed Liam away but she did it because she felt he would never look at her the same way because of what he saw. (How wrong could she be that man bloody adores her.)

more trauma happens in Liams life but the good thing to come out of it is a reunion with him and Mercy. The sexual chemistry and sex these two have is OMFG they are like freaking Duracell bunnies on max and they don't have lovey Dovey sex hell no! these two have rough dirty sexy fucking sex. WOW!

There are a few more events that follow through in this story but by me telling you it would ruin it and i think this does deserve a read. I enjoyed their journey.

My only critique could be that at times it felt a little too list like and we didnt get enough of the actual event before it moved on but truthfully i enjoyed this book.

My Overall Rating is 4 💋💋💋💋
My Passion Rating is 5 💋💋💋💋💋

Book 2 picks up right after Book 1 and Mercy has been kidnapped by Liam's son- (Nash) and Liam will do anything to get her back. He just hopes he is not too late because with his son being on drugs he has no idea what could happen to the love of his life. Liam has never felt this need and desire for another person in his entire life. Mercy is all consuming and he has to get her back because he knows he can't go on if she isn't with him and near him. She is all consuming and it is quite beautiful. Their commitment and need for each other jumps off the pages and it makes their love that much more inspiring to the reader. Once, Mercy is rescued she can't be around Liam. She needs space to figure out how to be herself again and being without her is killing Liam. He needs her back in his life, his bed, and he needs her to be his wife!! She agreed before all this happened but he has no idea if she will ever forgive him and come back to him. Their journey for reuniting is intense, emotional, bittersweet, and downright lovely. Their love is one that can withstand anything and it is fully tested throughout this book. Their desire for each other radiates off the page and you can't help but fall into their lovesick tunnel. This is another amazing and intense continuation of their amazing journey together. The adorable and now cancer free Ivy is beyond excited to go home with Liam and Mercy. She can't wait to be their daughter. Her mother is still an issue and they have to deal with that drama as well. This book will excite you, make you laugh out loud, cry a bit, and fall more in love with Liam & Mercy. Happy Reading!!!

"Mercy is everything good in my life. Without her it's all just gray, none of it matters."

And now we have the second book in Chelle Rose's Forbidden Desires of PCH and much like Mercy it does not disappoint. This book was a super quick read. In fact, my biggest complaint is that it wasn't longer. I finished this one way faster than Mercy, and that was a quick read! Finding Mercy picks the narrative back up right where it ended. Liam is doing everything he can to find Mercy, even making a deal with her father (the dirty cop). However, once Liam finds Mercy she ends the relationship. Why would she end the good thing she has with Liam? Will they be able to heal from the trauma caused by Nash?
Of course Liam and Mercy are meant to be, the two just work well together. Have no fear Chelle Rose doesn't leave us hanging for long. She provides us with the perfect amount of story and the perfect amount of spice! Liam and Mercy grapple with some pretty big life issues in this novel; many of the situations being the type that test their bond. Liam and Mercy both find themselves tested as individuals and as a couple and each comes away from the trials they face a little bit stronger.
Basically Chelle Rose has done it again with this one in providing a great story that you don't want to put down. One that is so immersive you don't even realize you have almost finished it until it's too late! Perhaps the best thing about this one is she doesn't leave us with an insane cliffhanger this time! Thankfully!

Finding Mercy is book 2 in the Forbidden Desires of PCH series.
It picks up right after book 1’s cliffhanger and drops you into the action from the very beginning. This book has lots of twists and turns and emotional ups and downs on the way to their HEA. There are hot steamy times, emotional upheaval, action and drama. Interesting side characters, with complex issues and who are relatable, add to the story and make you root for all of them to end up with love in their lives. Ivy is such a wonderful character, full of life and joy, brings more depth and complexity to Mercy and Liam’s relationship.
But above all, this book is an emotional journey through the relationship of Mercy and Liam, with their hardships and traumas to overcome. Although there were a few times in the story where I wanted to knock some sense into Liam, he and Mercy are strong together and both need each other to feel happy and whole.
Finding Mercy had me turning page after page, experiencing every high and low, every stress and excitement. I can’t wait to read on in the series.

When I opened my email last night and saw that the ARC for Finding Mercy was in my inbox, I freaked out and squealed lol (my boyfriend thought there was a spider again). When I tell you that this is one of my new favorite series and authors, omg guys go check her out. Chelle tells a story that will captivate you until the very end. While we got a lot of answers in this book, I'm beyond excited to read more about Liam and Mercy, because there are a few more things I need to know lol. I'm also excited for more of the other characters and to hear their story. The characters compliment each other nicely, they are extremely easy to love, and the plot is easy to get lost in. I don't want to say much because you really need to experience this for yourself. But Liam and Mercy are major couple goals. While you run to grab your copies of the books, I'm headed to go find more books by Chelle.

Finding Mercy by Chelle Rose

Ratings:
⭐️: 4/5
🌶: 4/5

Quote: “I know he needs to hear that I’m his. He needs it like oxygen. I know this about Liam by now. He’s possessive and it doesn’t bother me in the slightest. I want to be his. I need to be.”

Tropes: age gap, best friend’s dad, grumpy/sunshine

——————————————————

Book 2 picks up right where book 1’s cliffhanger left us, and thank goodness for that.

Liam and Mercy do not have an easy road where their relationship is concerned. Almost nothing is smooth sailing when both of these individuals deserve nothing other than to be happy. They are definitely put through the wringer in this book, but they pull through showing that they were made for each other. I was loving watching them create a little family with Ivy. That little girl deserves all the love and happiness Mercy and Liam rain down on her.

Ms. Rose no I will not apologize for bugging you about this duet especially this one the second book that completes the duet.

You must read Mercy first. This one picks up where Mercy ended so again you have to read Mercy. This couple has been consuming me because I needed to know the ending. I needed that happy ending that they both deserved. I knew going into this book it would cause me to have high emotions but they were nothing like I thought. I felt it all from the first page to the last. This couple was everything to me. Mercy was incredible and her strength was amazing. What I loved the most was how Ms. Rose painted Liam in a vulnerable light. I mean with the things that happened it was justified. I truly and absolutely loved this duet. Im ready for their honeymoon book but I am really ready for Xander's book.

Chelle is AMAZING!!!

Finding Mercy is book #2 in the Forbidden Desires of PCH series. This is a dark romance. Make sure to check the trigger warning.

I adore Liam and Mercy!!!

We pick up where we left off in Mercy (book 1) and Chelle takes us on an emotional, beautiful, sometimes heartbreaking, fast paced and spicy ride. Mercy and Liam go thru so much pain but they also have so much to be happy about. The connection and passion between these two is everything and the spice is off the charts HOT!!!!

Mercy is so strong, Liam is so hot and I loved seeing the softer, more vulnerable side to him. This duet seriously has me in a chokehold and i can't get enough. Liam and Mercy get the perfect ending and I cant wait for Xanders book.

All the stars to you, Chelle!!!!

This is the second book in the Forbidden Desires of PCH series and picks right up where the first book finished.
The book follows Liam and his quest to find Mercy after she’s been kidnapped. As always with Chelle Rose we know that things are never going to go easy and what should be a happy reunion for the two is not.
But, the couple have not just got to think about themselves this time, there’s the beautiful little Ivy to think about.
The story follows their path, let’s be honest it’s not smooth, back to each other and them creating a family.

If you like a gripping and heart wrenching, age gap, best friend’s dad romance this book is for you! Can’t wait for their little extra story, thanks Chelle 😊

I was so excited for this follow up, especially after the events of book 1, and it didn't disappoint. I literally tried to read it all in one sitting, which is insane, because people need sleep... it was worth being awake too late though.

Liam has grown so much since the first book, but his need to protect Mercy and Ivy is just too strong, and he can't hold back. Mercy is such a great character, and has had so much heartache and horror in her life, but she's a firecracker, and will not be beaten.

It was great to see more of Xander and Isabella and to meet Elle, and her 'stony' bodyguard lol... honestly loved it, and all that spice? PERFECTION. Liam and Mercy are on fire, but that's part of what makes them such a perfect match. Now on to the next one yay

I was left on edge when I’d finished Mercy I needed answers so bad. This picks up where mercy ended and it is a bit of a rollercoaster. Mercy while she is found by Liam need time and space to find herself again after everything that happens. These two have so much thrown at them but they manage to work through it all to be together and to be Ivy’s parents. Ivy is honestly the cutest and I found myself wanting to give her so many cuddles.

Liam is still 🥵 in the bedroom department and definitely left me flustered. I can’t wait to see what’s next from chelle in the meantime I’m off to find my own doc delicious

A good read 🤓

I did enjoy reading the story.. honestly there were a few places I was a brat and rolled my eyes. There was a lot of sexiness and it was hot but maybe a little bit more of romance would balance it out. This is my opinion. The storyline itself was interesting but in some areas it could be expanded and not rushed. Again only my opinion. All in all I’m glad I read it and will continue on to the next book. 🤓

I jumped straight into this one - the ending of book 1 made me!
My heart hurt for both of them. They were both broken. Liam and Mercy really are soulmates. Their group of friends play a big part in their life and I loved that.
Then there's Ivy. My heart was in my mouth for a good chunk of this book. Of course a few twists were chucked in for good measure.
Loved this book. and can't wait to read more in this series

TITLE: Finding Mercy
GENRE: Dark Romance
AUTHOR: Chelle Rose
TROPE: Kidnapping, Daddy/Praise K1nk
TYPE: Series (Forbidden Desires of PCH Book 2)
POV: Dual POV
MY RATING: 3.5 / 5

Finding Mercy picks up right at the cliffhanger from the previous book. I have to admit that I enjoyed the first book more than the second; I was not a big fan of the push-pull with Mercy and her relationship with Liam as she sorted through a few scenarios. I also felt the angst a bit more in the first book in the series. You will find more smut than Mercy (Book 1 in the series). If you are looking for a quick spicy read Finding Mercy has that in spades! I am rating Finding Mercy 3.5 / 5 Stars.

I thought book 1 was great but this series just keeps getting better. Chelle Rose has another hit. You have to read Mercy because Finding Mercy startes where Mercy left off. Liam & Mercy are so good with each other. She's a great sometimes, he's an a** sometimes, but when the sparks fly, OMG, it's hot! I can't wait for the next book!

Mercy and Liam's story continues

They have been through so much. Now they struggle to work through all the pain and trauma, hopefully coming out of it stronger. This book has several triggers, please check the authors notes in the front of the book. The heat level is really ramped up as well.

This book is part 2. There is no time between the first and the second. I enjoyed seeing Liam and Mercy. There are a ton of ups and downs. We get closure on Nash and get a HEA in the end. Mercy and Liam didn’t have it easy though. Getting to that HEA was well earned. Poor Liam had it rough, I would say more than Mercy. Tons of sexy scenes

Excellent continuation of book 1! The trials and tribulations that Liam and Mercy go through makes their relationship stronger and better. They have many wonderful moments as well. And there is still much steaminess! Great job!

ugh

For grown people that are full of drama and so immature, especially Mercy. Ugh. She treated him badly and he kept taking her back. I just ended up skimming some of it I am not reading the 3rd book of them cause I’m fed up but I think I want to read Xander’s book
