De Twaalf Poorten van Prins Sirius
Prins Sirius gaat op zoek naar het ware levensgeluk en legt een wonderbaarlijke Tocht af doorheen Twaalf Poorten, bij wijze van Proef. In de hoop ooit het geluk te kunnen uitdragen naar anderen -als Koning Sirius dan- beleeft hij de meest boeiende avonturen, waarbij hij heel wat lessen te leren krijgt. Zal hij slagen in zijn opzet ? De voorwaarden die zich stellen om het Geluk te vinden, gelden net zo goed voor Prins Sirius... als voor de lezer. Zo is dit sprookje als een klankbord, een leerschool, voor de mens die op zoek is naar het ware geluk, naar het werkelijke leven. Ook al gaat het in dit boek om een doorlopende verhaallijn van begin tot einde, toch kan elk hoofdstuk gemakkelijk afzonderlijk gelezen of verteld worden. Levenswijsheid en diepe symbooltaal liggen vervat in een eenvoudige, leesbare vertelstijl. Langs gouden poorten en sprekende dieren, langs feeën en kabouters, langs tovenaars in diepe grotten en Klusvadesken, voert het sprookje de lezer mee naar het aardse paradijs. Een dankbaar verhaal voor ouder en kind, voor leraar en leerling om dieper op bepaalde levensvraagstukken in te gaan. Dit is niet zomaar een sprookje ! De symbolische betekenis van de schitterende ster Sirius, zoals de auteur deze heeft waargenomen, zit verwerkt in dit verhaal. De Vlaamse auteur-componist, Christiane L. J. Beerlandt (°1955), schreef enkele boeken van wereldformaat zoals ‘De Sleutel tot Zelf-Bevrijding’ en ‘De Hoorn des Overvloeds’. ‘De Twaalf Poorten van Prins Sirius’ is als een hymne aan het leven, een verhaal waar geen tijd op staat… Vooral voor grote mensen (vanaf tien jaar tot oneindig...) maar ook gemakkelijk vertelbaar voor de kleinsten, al zal de verteller het hier en daar dan een beetje moeten aanpassen.

Christiane Beerlandt
25 books5 followersChristiane L.J. Beerlandt was born on 7 June 1955 in Turnhout, Flanders. (Flanders is the northern half of Belgium where Flemish, a variant of Dutch, is spoken.) In Flemish language, “Beerlandt” means BEAR land. Therefore, her last name represents fertility on earth and happiness. Her first name represents the spiritual and charitable aspect.
From childhood on Christiane wanted to relieve suffering. An innate giftedness allowed her to feel herself into the inner world of people. During her youth, she wasn’t aware of the uniqueness of her talent — she thought that everyone was like her. As an adolescent she wrote poems and prose texts that were much appreciated by her friends and teachers at school. She was also gifted on the recorder and mainly played Baroque music as well as compositions of her own.
After studying art history at the University of Leuven, she started one of the first natural food stores in Belgium. At the same time, as a pioneer, she created a network in which farmers raised their livestock in an animal-friendly way, without artificial hormones and antibiotics.
Through a spontaneous initiation experience in 1986, she felt the importance of utilizing her natural endowment in order to help humanity move forward in its evolution: toward higher awareness. At the end of the 1980s an inner inspiration led her to write down texts that later formed the basis of her book Nieuwe Dagen (New Days: not yet available in English).
At the end of 1992 Christiane took the plunge to become a full-time author. In November 1993, her first book came out in her mother tongue, Flemish: De Sleutel tot Zelf-Bevrijding (The Key to Self-Liberation). Meanwhile, this encyclopedia of psychosomatics has become a standard reference work on the psychological, emotional origins of disease. Today, it can be found on the shelves of numerous bookstores.
From then on Christiane became like an inexhaustible source. Many other books followed, as well as translations into French, German, and English. They make us aware of the deeper meaning of “Signposts of Life”: illnesses, occurrences, happenings, emotions, spontaneous food preferences, encounters with animals, astrological symbols, the language of the body, etc. These are all “signals” that can teach us a lot for the sake of our welfare and personal development.
All drawings on her books’ covers are by her own hand.
The profoundness and accuracy of the texts, written in a language accessible to all, have brought the Christiane Beerlandt Books worldwide recognition among all types of people, including many health professionals.
Between 1999 and 2015 Christiane toured extensively in Europe and Canada to give lectures, together with her life companion Dirk Lippens.
Though Christiane left the three-dimensional on 18 June 2015, she remains completely alive through her work and loving soul energy. Dirk continues to fulfill their common vocation by doing everything he can to spread her work.
