It's so thrilling to finally have a copy of this ever so elusive tome in hand!

Will need a second read to gather my thoughts but I loved this. Beautiful and hypnotic nocturnal wanderings that are not only of a piece with early Ligotti (Particularly 'The Night School' and 'The Greater Festival of Masks') but with Marcel Brion, Hans Henny Jahnn, and The Nightwatches of Bonaventura. Needs a reprint ASAP.
