Gideon Temple, the youngest Temple brother, has always had his head in the clouds—or more accurately, in the water. For him, there was nothing better than a day spent working on his boat, daydreaming about sailing around the world. Or practicing his rope tying skills, preferably on a lithe, beautiful submissive.

When he finally agrees to go through with his marriage to Naomi, things begin to spiral out of his control almost from the very first moments. Who is this fiery, strong, bratty woman who pulls out the worst parts of his own personality? She somehow pushes every single one of his buttons and calls to his dominance so deeply at the same time?

Naomi wants nothing more than to escape the life she was thrust into without her consent. She dreams of the day when she can leave Zion behind forever and find a life for herself. She would do anything to keep that dream secret, especially from her new husband. But perhaps with a marriage into the Temple family, she will finally find the way out she has so desperately been seeking.

As things in Zion heat up, will these two be able to find a way to cool their tempers—and their passion—long enough to learn the truth about each other? And will the brothers finally find out the truth in Zion? Or will secrets remain unearthed for longer?

Gideon is the fourth book in Elle Sparrow’s Temple Brother series. I don't know how she does it, but each book is always better than the last.

Gideon is the fourth brother to take a wife with the hope that when they leave Zion, they will be helping more than themselves escape the misogynistic, backward, toxic cult that is their community. But first, Gideon must learn to coexist with Naomi and how to communicate with her. He thought he knew what to expect from what his brothers had told him, but he was thrown for a loop from the day of the ceremony. Can these two tame their tempers long enough to see each other?

And like his brothers before him, Gideon learned of things like consent, respect for women, and how to treat them properly, not from their family but from the kink community they found outside the cult. As a rigger, he likes to tie his women into beautiful works of art before he showers them with mind-blowing pleasure. But will he ever make it to that part with the vixen that has become his wife?

Not to mention the other issues that they uncover about Zion keep getting darker and darker. Can they just leave, or will they all become too involved without ever meaning to?

This book was a definite 5-star read for me. Elle once again knocked it out of the park. Not only will you devour this story, but you will start counting down the days until the next book is released. There are triggers in this book, including child abuse, kidnapping, and bondage.

What a roller-coaster ride of a read!
This series just keep getting better and better. While each book in the series is amazing, the overarching story-line is just-WOW! Right from the get-go this story hits the ground running. It is a fast-paced page turner for sure. I really, really loved Gabriel and Naomi’s story. This was such a gut-wrenching emotional story as they work to address past traumas head on. Naomi’s story just broke my heart as I read it. I was glad she has a hero in Gideon to help her heal. The overarching story-line of life in a cult is growing and growing with each brother’s story. Each book become more emotional as the author lays out what is happening in the cult the brothers are trying to leave. The author does a phenomenal job of this issue of living in a cult and the damage it can produce within its walls. The author has been able to weave in all the stories of each brother as they get married. And each of their experiences are different but it is all leading to what I am sure is to be an epic conclusion in the final book in the series. I can hardly wait to read it.
This is an awesome story but if you have not read the first 3 books in the series, please go read them first. Such a good story and an amazing series so far.

These Temple brother books just keep getting better and better! Elle Sparrow sure knows how to deliver a spicy scene that isn't forced. While the series as a whole has many triggers, and this book certainly does as well, Elle does a painstakingly good job at making the reader understand the magnitude and significance of why they are there and ensures they are important and relevant to the story. These books deal with cults and religious trauma and, while not for the weak of heart, don't glorify abuse or trauma or use the kink lifestyle as a way to "heal" and then be abandoned.
Gideon and Naomi's story burns fast and bright and, like the other Temple brothers, is a light in a seemingly dark and traumatic existence. The followers of Zion are up to no good in this story and I, for one, can not wait to see what the final book has in store when all h*** breaks loose.

Immediately I was thankful that this story was not at all like the others. Spunky Naomi was already on board with everything that the Temple boys had planned in the first place, she just didn’t now it yet. Neither did Gideion know she was amenable to it. Because the two of them were like oil and water. It was actually HOT. I liked the enemies to lovers theme. Since Gideon and Naomi did NOT get along to begin with, their exchanges where full of animosity but they were so attracted to each other physically that they kept having hot angry sex and they never ended up talking. Since Gideon’s kink was bondage, especially Shibari or rope tying, I kept thinking that if only he could tie her up so she’d have to sit still and listen to him share “the plan” with her. Of course Gideon finally shared all his secrets with Naomi, despite her sass. And I continue to learn about the BDSM world. Gideon kept mentioning a “rope bottom.” I had never heard of that so when I searched the term, I was floored at how common this term is in the BDSM world! There are entire websites and communities dedicated to tying with ropes and using the term “rope bottom” which is a person who consent to being tied up for pleasure (also referred to as “rope bunny”). I didn’t like how, once Gideon was open and honest with Naomi, shared with her things that she could have taken and used against him, she not only didn’t share her truths with him, but she didn’t believe him. She still didn’t trust him. It grated against me and made me not like her. I usually like a spunky FMC, but not to the point of idiocy, like her. I learned other terms in the BDSM world: SSC=safe, sane, consensual, and RACK=Risk-Aware Consensual Kink. It was such a relief when Naomi finally shared her kidnapping story with Gideon. This is the book where the story got really good, like masterful mystery good. The kidnapping and reprogramming of little girls stole all my attention. I wanted THAT story to progress so much that, God help me, I got impatient with the sex scenes! I have no interest in rope bondage or Shibari, so I barely paid attention to Gideon playing out his kink with his new wife. But I perked up when more clues were discovered about the nefarious activities of the cult. I am ready to finally wrap up this conflict and see some justice in the next book.

5 Star Review for Gideon by Elle Sparrow

GIDEON IS A RIGGER! GIDDY UP, TIE ME UP!

I stayed up until 5am reading this! This series keeps exceeding my expectations. I am truly sad that there is only one brother left. Gideon is the climax of this series. This book is so important. We hit that top peak and learn the true corruption of what is happening in Zion.

I loved reading about Gideon and Naomi. There is something so natural about how their relationship develops after starting with such uncertainty. There is an easy, snarky banter between the two of them where they even "bet" each other with kissing. The problem though is this brother may not get the girl because she wants to leave. We follow a different path with Gideon's marriage. We know that

Gideon is the youngest of the brothers, but he may be the most centered. He definitely has the chosen kink to prove his maturity. Naomi is another adopted daughter of Zion. She, unlike the other wives we meet, already wants out of Zion. She knows something is wrong with Zion and oh my, does she have some juicy information that blows everyone away and changes the plan.

There was a lot more educational information about kink in this as well. Although the past three brothers taught their wives a lot about kink, we now learn some lessons and some acronyms like RACK and PRICK. Gideon is a Rigger that loves his ropes and being on his boat. Naomi is his red headed siren. Naomi knows nothing about kink, so when she finds Gideon's stash of ropes and "toys" on his boat she has no idea what he has found. It's quite funny.

A much as I want to talk about what is revealed in this book, I don't want to spoil anything. This book(and series) is too good to spoil. There is so much that is happening in Zion in the background of this story.

The ending has such suspense and set up for the fifth brother, Malachi. I can't even explain how excited I am for his book. You kind of knew what was about to happen for his marriage while you were reading, but OMG it's going to be another amazing book. I don't know Elle personally, but I love what she is doing with this series. The fact that you can't wait for the next book once you finish one proves what a good series this is. Read Gideon Now!

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This is part of The Temple Brothers series each book can be read as a standalone but keep in mind they connect via the brother’s each telling their own story BUT I REALLY NEED TO KNOW WHAT’S GOING TO HAPPEN….JS so let’s get to it. Gideon sexy as all get out youngest of the Temple brothers as we know from the previous brothers it appears they have lived a life of privileged but that privileged came at a price with him being the youngest brother time for his marriage now I won’t get into the things they have to do to be married because it can be a trigger needless to say he married the perfect girl for his personality. Naomi intelligent, hasn’t had it easy in the like of Zion because she remember her family she was kidnapped at eight ripped away from her family who loved her and thrown into abuse, mind control to forget where she came from they did everything in their power to break her spirit but what they didn’t realize was each beaten made her stronger, more determined to get away, determined to find her family and that she figured would be done through marriage. Now their marriage didn’t start out on solid ground in fact it was all rocks because neither of them wanted to give in she thought he was just like his parents, he thought she was a brat but one act had them both questioning their impression of the other but one moment is all it took for the honesty to flow come to find out she wasn’t the only one taken confirming their determination to get away but we have one brother left to be married but will their father find out the truth, will they reverend keep watching/following them, inserting himself in their lives, continue to be around Naomi who pretty much shuts down due to all the abuse she has had to endure and is their any form of happiness for these two very brother individuals?.

I feel like I fall in love with this series more and more with each other if that’s even possible this book is amazing just like the other ones! It has you laughing with how the two main characters has they fight for what each of them want among other things. There is so much mystery and crime with these books to it makes me want to be in them and fight for what is right with all the temple brothers. And let’s not forget their amazing independent strong funny women in each of their lives . We get to find out more what crazy things that bad guys in Zoni are doing and let me tell you it will have your emotions going nuts with different feelings throughout the book. If you loved the first three books you won’t want to miss this one and how they ended this one makes me want to read book 5 right away I hope it comes out sooner rather then later!! These two people made for each other I hope they get to will the others are soon! I personally want to punch Reverend and all the other guys so much and my feelings only get stronger with the more information I find out they deserve to be in prison and so much more! Wonderful work the author gets me sleepless nights when I read by her lol.

Gideon has always been a dreamer, longing for life that doesn't exactly conform to Zion's rules. He agrees to go along with his brothers' plans to marry and leave. Naomi wants nothing more than to get away from the cult she was forced into. When she marries Gideon, she thinks her dreams are a secret she'll have to hide. But she's learning he's not all he seems and he may be her way out.

Elle Sparrow has brought us yet another fantastic book in the Temple Brothers series! Gideon is the youngest and is a little more carefree than his older brothers, which I loved him for. Naomi is incredibly stubborn and strong-willed, which I related to very easily. Together the pair are a match made and work so well together. Gideon's inner dominant side comes out and it is so worth the wait to see it!

The story keeps getting better and as the books have come out, we're starting to see the overall arc and it is absolutely mindblowing how well the author did this storyline.

Arranged Marriage
Shibari
Forced Proximity
Cult Lifestyle

As the youngest of the Temple brothers, Gideon has sealed his fate and stepped up for his family and take on his marriage to Naomi. Naomi, who is stubborn and hard, bratty attitude does nothing but rival Gideon’s bratty attitude. These two have so much heat built up between them that there was just bound to be sparks.

But the best part of this book is the fact that Gideon is a rigger. And the beautiful ways he describes his craft is the absolute best. Elle the way you described the intricacies is beautifully written. If I wasn’t already recommending this series before, which I am any chance I can, I would definitely be after this one. Gideon has absolutely taken the top spot for me in this series. And that ending!!! Holy hell!!! I am dying waiting to get my hands on book 5,like needed it last week!

Seriously if you all are sleeping on this series you are missing out.

Gideon is book 3 of the Temple Brothers Series. It needs to be read in order and CHECK TRIGGERS!!

Gideon, the youngest Temple brother is next in line to get married. He likes his space and to be alone. Gideon has his own kink, he shows his dominance through the art of rope play. Gideon is a rigger and knows how to use rope to make his sub feel and look amazing.

Naomi is not your typical woman of Zion. She is loud, opinionated and makes it known. But she has her fears from her past. When she’s told she’s be marrying a Temple brother, her own plan to escape goes into action.

Oh man, this series keeps me hooked with every new couple. These two are so far my favorite. I love Gideon and his passions with his boat and rope. Naomi is a great contrast to Gideon, a total brat! Their married comes tumbling when she starts to remember her past and what her trauma is with the people of Zion!

Gideon is the 4th brother to walk down the aisle as Malachi has again refused to agree to a marriage. He ends up married to a spitfire named Naomi. Naomi has her own plans and reasons for wanting to escape Zion and in the beginning has no desire to share that information with her new husband.

We learn more sinister secrets about the Reverend Jacob's and the Elders of Zion. More clues to the puzzle the Temple brothers are trying to piece together are revealed. Levi is forced to take part in the inner circles secrets while they try to find evidence to destroy the cult.

This one has the most spice in it so far and the 🔥 between Gideon and Naomi is panty melting. Some beautiful news for Zeke and Talia and I think Zeke still has the easiest job of all the brothers for church. Malachi is up next and this book does end on a cliffhanger.

I'm not going to spoil this story for you by telling you too much. You have obviously read the other three stories in the series (and if not, you don't want to read this until you have) so you know about the Temple Brothers' BDSM proclivities and what a s**t show Zion is. Naomi comes from a similar circumstance as Talia, only without the loving adoptive parents. She is determined and headstrong and planning her escape from Zion long before she knows that her husband has already made a plan with his brothers. Things are coming to a head as Malachi finally agrees to a marriage and Levi is brought deeper into the Elder's schemes.

Gideon and Naomi wow 😮 that all I have to say. The story was well written and amazon with the charters. It my third book reading this series. And each time I’m so blow away and honor reading it. Warning there are triggers in this book and it can be dark at times. Gideon knew he had to get married for the plan. It was after the wedding part that he wasn't happy with. He hates what Naomi had to go through. He just hopes that she won't out the plan to the rest of Zion. Naomi just had to get through all the marriage stuff, then she was going to find a way out of Zion. What this place had put her through and now that she was marrying one of the Temple brothers, she had to get out. Hopefully Gideon won't come after her. Want more well I guess you have to read it to find out 😏

Gideon is book four of the Temple Brothers series of interconnected standalones. We are continuing on the journey of the Temple brothers getting out of Zion. This is Gideon and Naomi’s story and it is beautiful! Naomi’s past is tragic and heartbreaking but now she has Gideon by her side. Their relationship starts off with a lot of banter and I loved it! Naomi is sassy and snarky and Gideon is a bit of a brat himself. We get a few answers but that twist at the end has me asking so many more questions! I can’t wait for Malachi’s book and to finally see how their stories end!

“Let me give you a precious gift,” I continued, my words passionately whispered into the dark.
“What kind of gift?” she whispered.
“Let me give you freedom,” I breathed out my truth against her hair”

Gideon (H) and Naomi (h) are the next to be married. The intimate relationship between the pair is just spectacular as they build their D/s life, which leads to Naomi's recollection of her childhood trauma and helps her processes those experiences. And then juxtapose that against the Zion community and the male-female roles. Simply amazing series. That ending with Levi...so looking forward to the next books in this series and Kai.

Chefs kiss

I loved Naomi and Gideon but esp the sass we were able to see from Naomi. I absolutely LOVE her testing Gideon and him coming through with showing her he's legitimately a great guy. And my favorite
is Gideon showing his vulnerability before Naomi does, bc we need more guys like that. I only gave 4 stars for slight inconsistencies and editing errors but I definitely LOVED this entire series and am definitely begging for a 6th book from all points of view PLEASE

I knew what was going on! I hate that I was right! I also like the change in how Naomi acted versus all the other girls. She wasn't brainwashed. She knew the truth. I love seeing her come out of her shell and open up to Gideon. I hate how she suffered. That last page, though! Ugh!!! My heart is pounding out of my chest!!!!! This is the best in the series so far. It was a great mix of plot and the characters developing together.

I absolutely love the relationship between Gideon and Naomi! The bickering, the banter, the fire... Chef's kiss! As a spitfire myself, nothing gets me quite as razzled as someone fighting back. I love the background plot that has progressed thru each book, and diving more into the conflict has only made me despise Ma and Pa Temple so much more. Perfect villains! I can't wait to see them served their just desserts!

Oh my goodness! Can you go higher than 5 stars?!

Okay. Man. This one was perfect. So perfect. The plot picked up. The spice was perfect. The storyline is so different from books 2 and 3. It was refreshing to read this one after how the wives were in the first 3. And the suspense of the crime thriller is starting to boil!

Highly recommend.

Wonderful story

Wow. Not your typical romance, not your typical kink. Whereas the world of this series is unusual, the kink is very true to life. Combined, it makes for enthralling stories.

With her bold world canvas, Elle Sparrow paints true life pictures of some very sensitive issues. All beautifully wrapped around a sensual side of kink.

tie me up!

This was so cute, though Naomi did get a bit in my nerves as a brat. I actually wish Gideon would have explained that part to her a bit more. I really loved the explanation of the rigger Dom. It was very cool! I loved the continued unveiling of Zion. Can’t wait for the final installment!!

Tied Together

This is the penultimate book in the series & Gideon was a nice surprise as he hadn’t been overly featured in the previous books. Naomi is feisty but carries a secret that will help the brothers if she can learn to trust them enough to share it.
It builds well into the final book that promises to conclude the series

I actually read this series out of order and started with Gideon. I got it on stuff your kindle day with about 80 other books and this book alone made me go down the rabbit hole and finish the entire series. It is so well written. A lot of spicy books are just spicy but this has a story line to it that pulls you in.

These books keep getting better and better. I love how these guys fight so hard not to love these women but end up head over heels in love. This book does have a few triggers so read the trigger warning. I love how bratty both of these characters are. They feed off of each other. The “scenes “ are amazing and flow very well with the story. Can’t wait to see what the next brother brings to the table. P.s. this one ends on a cliff hanger. Lol

Oh yeah, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Well, they weren't trying to kill Naomi, but they did make her stronger. Naomi is resilient and overcame a lot. Naomi and Gideon both want a life that they can't seem to reach. They do have chemistry but struggle to finally let go.
