Several men made Jamie Austen mad. Big Mistake!International #1 Best Selling and Award Winning Author, Terry Toler, brings you Book Five in the Jamie Austen spy thrillers series.
America’s beloved heroine Jamie Austen’s latest adventure takes her to the glitz and glamour of Abu Dhabi, one of the richest and most exotic cities in the world.
Jamie is in Abu Dhabi to purchase a thirty-million-dollar painting for AJAX, the corporation she uses to conduct CIA undercover operations. While she’s not on a mission to rescue girls, when the message HELP ME is written on the women’s bathroom mirror at the art gallery, Jamie has no choice but to find out who wrote it and why.
What follows is a gripping and gut-wrenching tale of four girls in grave danger.
Jamie’s motto is “No Girl Left Behind.”
Will she risk it all, including her life, to save the girls, or will it come at too great a cost?

Author Terry Toler seems to have a heart for rescuing victims of trafficking. Although this has a similar tone to one of his previous books, Save the Girls, I still think there were enough original situations for this to be a separate book. Jamie Austin wants to help girls stuck in situations that are not of their choosing. This story involves Abu Dhabi, an art sale and a stakeout. Alex, her newlywed husband, plays a small role in this one. As always, there is plenty of action. I am glad this series is on Kindle Unlimited. I look forward to reading the next one.
Another thrilling book from Toler. Each one gets more exciting. I like the story line with AJAX and the new members of the team. Each one having their own specialty. Reading about the treatment of Muslim Women is eye opening and very disgusting. Hard to believe that Tribal law is still practiced. Jamie and Alex live for another adventure with their Biblical convictions. Thanks TT for your writings.
While reading all of the shocking wickedness that continues to thrive in the Middle East was truly disturbing, the story was well written and very illuminating. It was a very satisfying conclusion, even though I was wishing for more justice to have been meted out in the end than it would have been realistic to expect. I look forward to reading more about the AJAX team.
Terry Toler has another hit! His main character doles out justice for those that hold girls/women against their will. When the middle-eastern justice system does not work, the main character, Jamie Austen, has some justice of her own! I loved the fast pace of this book! If you are like me, you won’t want to put it down.
This book gives an inside look into the world of the ultra wealthy as well as the dogma that is epitomizes the worst of Islam. Jamie is purchasing a multi-million dollar piece of art, while there in Abu Dhabi she discovers human trafficking sex slaves and decides she has to save them and return them to their family. With limitless dollars and courage Jamie and her team make the rescue happen.
This is a heart rending story if it is a true reflection of what is happening in places like these. Jamie and Alex help out victims just for the satisfaction of knowing they are doing the right thing and it makes you think if someone somewhere should be doing these things for real.
I found it very interesting and entertaining. The characters were interesting and engrossing.I think that the lead character was refreshing and riveting
This was hard to read, but hard to put down! This book really pulled out some strong emotions in me....anger, sadness, confusion and satisfaction, to name a few. I do love the team and the how they work together. Truly a great read!
Wow! Super tense story of Jamie Austen in Abu Dhabi. While there to purchase a painting from a lecherous sheik, one of his “girls” approaches Jamie to help her escape. The adventure begins!
Note: parts of this are hard to read. How they treat women & girls in this culture is horrible and heartbreaking.
While I found the story interesting and am sympathetic to the plight of trafficked women, I think the author took too many liberties with reality. I lived in Abu Dhabi for five years in the 1990s. His portrayal of the culture is more like that of Saudi Arabia not the UAE. I’m guessing he needed the choice of location so that he could have all the glamour and excessive wealth and the ability for outsiders to visit, but chose the ‘tribal’ Aspect from somewhere else. The UAE that I knew was the most progressive Muslim country with respect to women. They are allowed to work outside the home, drive cars, own property and dress as they choose. And by the way, NO ONE. Calls it Abu Dhabi City. As far as sea snakes being a constant danger, I swam and scuba dived the Persian Gulf almost weekly and never saw one or was warned of them. Finally as for the Iranian navy patrolling the coast between Dubai and Abu Dhabi—pure nonsense. I think the author did a disservice to Abu Dhabi by setting the story there and should have done more research and used fewer stereotypes. As for the ‘heroine’ Jamie, she was the most self righteous character I’ve come across. No qualms whatsoever about killing people in her way. No qualms about setting up a turf war that resulted in many deaths. And no qualms at all about stealing a $35 million painting, yacht, and billion dollars—all because she’s a righteous servant of God, saving women. Will not be reading any more of his books!!!
This was a very disappointing book for a variety of reasons, not least of which is that the poor quality of the book is an insult to those poor women who do indeed suffer under the circumstances described in the book. I had a look at the book on the basis that it was a “Christian thriller”. Sadly, I found almost no Christian values on display in the book. Sure, there were some references to God in the book, and to Godly judgement, but to be honest, the “heroine” displayed not one shred of Christian behaviour. She is correct that the bad guys in the book will end up in Hell, but her own behaviour certainly doesn’t qualify her for Heaven. Maybe the author, who apparently is some sort of minister, should read the New Testament and understand what Jesus said about judgement and vengeance. So much of the plot is just unbelievable. Too many inconsistencies and unbelievable situations. It’s more a fantasy book than a thriller. I’ve been a marine biologist for over 50 years and the descriptions of sea snakes are ridiculous. Sea snakes are very poisonous, but they’re not a risk to humans because the structure of their mouths and the situation of their fangs makes it impossible for them to bite humans. I’m afraid I won’t be tempted to read anything by this author again.
This book was poorly written, incredibly racist, and used Jesus to excuse poor choices and criminal behavior. I feel like the author rushed through it, with very little character development. The author spent a whole section talking about someone's nickname and skipped over major plot points. This book should be subtitled "Ken and Barbie think they can save the World." That is about how deep the plot gets. The white savior complex, the pseudo Robin Hood thefts, the random girls that only an American truly help, the inappropriate relationship between a rescuer and a victim all lead to a book that reads like a fantasy novel for morons. This book made me sad to be literate.
Skimmed after halfway point. Storyline very similar to D.V. Berkom Leine Basso books. Jamie doesn't seem as smart as she should be if expert in middle east customs regarding treatment of women. She expected American justice in tribal trials, and rant and worsen outcome.
I just love this series and Im leaning so much about outdated tribal customs and their court procedures. At first Jamie is just going to make a deal on an Art Project, but a message left in the restroom heightens her interest. Of course, there are many complications. Yes, there are more girls to rescue. The action never ceases down to the last moment.
Jamie can’t leave any girls so she goes all out and rescues them all. I don’t know how she could withstand the dumb tribal trial and let the girls get lashed with a cane. That part wasn’t in character. 5
Loved the interaction between the guys and how they take things into their hands especially with the girls. And God has mystery ways of taking care of them.
Wow. This was an outstanding book. I truly learned a lot about Dubai and the laws that govern the country. Such a terrible legal system with women and their rights.
This is the fifth book in the series and for me the best one ,Ajax agency is developing nicely with some great characters,I can’t wait to read number 6
At first, I was not interested in reading this book. But after a few chapters, the author had me turning pages into the late-night hours. His knowledge of human trafficking, and the society which promotes and perpetuates this activity was creditable. I enjoyed the book and would recommend it without reservation. Great read, no, excellent read.
