After I read two chapters in this book, I got really annoyed with some of the decisions of the main character. I had to put it aside for a few weeks. I am glad that I picked it up again as it turned out to be another enjoyable story. This is probably because the author thankfully did not take it in completely dark directions.
Jamie, the main lead, is passionate about rescuing girls from trafficking. This is again the theme for part of this book. If you insist on unique plots in every story, you may not like that aspect of this series. Personally, I like how it all comes together. I have enjoyed these books. There were certainly plenty of plot twists for me. And there is also humor to deflect some of the tough situations.
One important thing to note: this is not a series that I would recommend to anyone who is not in at least high school due to the intense nature. There are not too many details about the trafficking but there are still some. In every book, there are several deaths. While descriptions are not completely graphic, they still could make certain readers uncomfortable.
This title introduced a spin off series. I am enjoying reading "The Cliff Hangers: Anna's Story" which provides details of this storyline from a completely different perspective.

Great book
This was another one of my favorite books by this author. It was especially fun because I had read the Cliff Ford book about this. They're want really any repeat information because it was from a complete different side but was fun to have a fuller picture! I definitely recommend reading it. It has so many unexpected twists and turns.

This is a good Christian mystery. Bae gets in a lot of trouble and causes problems which bothered me but really she acts like a typical teenager, so it was very believable. I love reading books by this author because they are very real and depict real life situations.

Great setup!
Kids think they know it all until they experience a bit of real life! I definitely see some great stories coming from this.

Bae in Trouble
This was not one of my favorite books. Let's have more of Jamie and Alex, as the series is called. I didn't enjoy reading about a stubborn, spoiled, girl that doesn't care about her family. She goes off and does many stupid things that ends up hurting people. She is the one that revealed Rita's identity and caused her fallout with the Strikers. Bae never owns up to her stupidity, only says she did some stupid things. I hope that is the last we hear about her.

Saved from North Korea, then in the USA
Bae had been saved from North Korea by Jamie, her hero. Bae had been soaking up novels about a solo hero. Terry Toler certainly knows how to keep a reader hooked. The banter between Alex and Jamie is often funny. They are quite the interesting married couple as they use their art company AJAX to fight evil wherever they and their crew find it.

Not as good as others
I have read this series in order...this being the seventh story....this story and one other bring up the rear......sitting at the bottom.
This story is just silly and totally unrealistic and I almost stopped reading it several times......
Stick with stories where Jamie is the predominant character.....she is the best of the series

Not my Favorite
I’m a huge fan of Jamie Austen and I really enjoyed Bae when we first met her…but this time she was just straight up annoying. She was a self centered brat and her part of this read was my least favorite. I enjoyed Rita, Cliff & of course, Jamie but I hope if we encounter Bae again that she has matured immensely!!

This is a good read about Bae, who decides to be a female Jack Reacher, altho that’s not the name used. However, since Bae is only 17, it feels very improbable.
Not my favorite Jamie Austen story, but still good.

It wasn't my favorite in the series. Even though I loved Bae in The Ingenue, not so much in this one. This story had some good moments, some funny moments, but I couldn't finish it fast enough. Couldn't wait to get to the next one. Praying it will be more like the previous books.

This was interesting in that Bae got a wild hair and thought she was another Jamie Austen. She decided to go out looking for trouble and sure enough she got herself in it. Some she handled well and others, well that’s the title. 5

i know its fiction, but fantasy was stretched a bit
I was really glad to see Bae back in the plot. She was really entertaining, but it was unrealistic in her plans. There were some surprising twists at the end.On the whole another good one.
