Isn’t it outstanding? 🤩
Where the Flowers Bloom was a fabulous journey which gave me all the feels!!
An immensely written debut, without fanfare and theatrics, pulled me in and touched my heart deeply.
I am sorry to say that this read is not for all readers since grief and loss are featured.
I felt so close to Daphne and Henry, as if they were my friends, and I was glad that I didn’t have to advise them or tell them my thoughts because both of them were vulnerable and had their own burden.
I judged none of their decisions and actions.
It was mostly told from Daphne’s pov, Henry’s was in two chapters.
However, Daphne was so lucky to be surrounded by a group of amazing friends!! They were always there for her, made me laugh and appreciate the value of true friendship.
There were moments where I might have stopped breathing for some seconds, others where I was falling apart, and others where I shed many more than a few tears.
It was a very emotional story, wonderfully developed, extremely relatable, dealt with serious and hard issues, had significance, depth, substance and above all LOVE!
Last but not least, it had a hea in the end.
