He called her. Jesus is calling you, too-right where you are. Jesus knows your name, He knows your story, and He knows the world you live in. He wants you to come to Him as you are. Jesus wants to reveal His power to you and show you how to be an influencer for His kingdom. Today, whatever your life circumstances, rest in these truths: Jesus is pursuing you. He created you to live out your unique calling. You have an opportunity to serve Jesus with your resources and reveal His power in your sphere of influence.

Familiar Bible stories have the potential for taking us deeper in our understanding of God's truths. But this often means we have to be intentional about reding them with fresh eyes and the expectation of receiving something more.

Faith is not just the affirmation of a set of beliefs: it's something that lives in us. It transforms every part of our being, every aspect of our lives. And faith that is living is not static. Like all living things, it grows and matures over time.

This was insightful and a beautiful encouragement to live with unwavering, sincere faith as the women of the Bible did. The only reason for four (and not 5 stars) is the study wasn’t as good as some of the other ones I’ve done. It was great, but something I didn’t realize is that some women in the Bible don’t have many verses talking about them. So, there were some sessions where I was reading one or two verses. I craved more scripture than that, and a lot of them didn’t add any more scripture references (while some did). But, I loved it as a good break from my normal scripture reading material.

I learned a lot from this study. It’s quite a bit of work as we read it all in six weekly sessions. I was a little overwhelmed at first but had made the commitment to stick it out. It was worth it! Our study leaders told us to read these women’s stories with open eyes. Many of these stories we know. We’ve read them before. However, I was very surprised at how God had a purpose and plan for each of these women’s lives that ultimately played a pivotal role in His perfect plan. I saw them in a different way & it proves that God does care about women. We serve purposes way higher than traditional roles. We matter!! All of these women have different life situations or societal roles, but God created them to be a part of His story. That means we are all a part of His story no matter what we do or what our pasts have been like. That was a rewarding takeaway from this study for me. Not matter how big or small it seems to us, God is always there with the bigger picture to lead us down the right path!!
